Another day of sunshine and cool breezes and Old Two Legs was up with the sparrows this morning, a busy day for him!
We loved the tale of Archie Babes Black Eyed Susan, we reckon he is going off us and has taken up plant hugging!
Now, that tenner, we reckon if you were daft enough to loose it then it should go to the PDSA anyway!
If you put the notice up reporting that you found it just how many two legs would march in and claim they lost it and how will they be able to prove it?
Give it to the PDSA or by Archie Babe his very own Black Eyed Susan plant!

Thank
you all so much for lending us OTL and TM for the last few days.
As Daisy has already pointed out in her Diary we Two Legs do enjoy
our get togethers with nibbles, giggle juice and loads of natter.
Sorry
about leaving you girls at home 'alone' but you should have seen some
of the poor woofers who had been dragged out to the show with their
two legs families, hot or wot! Even the children were looking very
droopy and if they could have lolled out their tongues and panted we
are certain they would have done so.
Because
OTL No.2 has been a bit ill I (aka She Who Must Be Obeyed) ordered a
chariot for the two days of the show so he would be able to get
around the whole show and not slow down the shopping opportunities
for TM and SWMBO - and it worked very well.
OTL
No.2 buzzed around the showground, didn't run anybody over - a couple
of near misses but a miss is as good as a mile - so no problem there.
The basket on the front came in very handy for carrying all the
bottles of water.

The
chariot hire people were very nice but OTL No.2 mentioned that he had
got some very 'funny' looks from people like 'wot's he doing
pretending to be an invalid?' We came to the conclusion that it was
just the 'does he take sugar' brigade and they don't count for
anything anyway!
We
thoroughly enjoyed being with you all and OTL and TM and would love
to do it all over again - but probably not until next summer so don't
panic!
Just
so that you know we were looking after your TLs here’s a picture of
TM enjoying a little rest and an ice cream whilst sorting out her
‘incoming’ matters on her mobile pingy whatsit:

We
had a lovely quiet drive back home and hope that you are enjoying
having your TLs undivided attention, plus now it is much cooler you
won’t need to be left at home all by yourselves!
Lots
of cuddles and fusses from both OTL No.2 and SWMBO and thank you once
again for a lovely long weekend.

Today OTL has been playing with his camera on our walks, he is using his big camera to experiment with his 35mm lens. First of all he tried for a sunrise but we reckon he has done better!

Yo maties. Daisy I would NEVER go off you and Holly chops, you're my favourite girls in the whole wide world. I just like the taste of the leaves on the black eyed susan plant, now I've tasted all the plants in the garden and that one is the tastiest. My mum has stayed right behind me today so every time I head over to have another nibble she starts saying leave it, no, stop it and I get a little bit closer and closer and then, there she is, standing in front of me with the plant behind her warning me she'll smack my bum if I take another leaf ........... wot a meanie. That was very nice to get that email, shame the pictures didn't work but it was very nice all the same to get such a nice thank you. Smashing pictures today, my mum has been on the look out for more dragon flies in our garden but either they haven't been back or she's missed them when they've been around. Poor Holly, now she should go and bite the butts of the men wots stopped you from parking in your usual spot. My mum has decided that the tenner will go to the PDSA cos as you say if someone was that careless they don't really deserve to get it back and no one has come into the shop and mentioned that they've lost any money so they might be that rich that they haven't even noticed. It's been a bit cooler here today but still very sunny. Tomorrow I can look forward to my mum being home with me so we can have a nice lay in and we might even be able to have a siesta in the afternoon. ReplyDeleteI don’t know where to start but I think that was wonderful to receive an e-mail from Auntie Glynis, it just shows how she appreciates sharing OTL and TM with you and I really think you were in the right place at home and not suffering with all the woofers and mini TLs. I do hope we get to see your photo. Poor Holly loosing the car because the silly people dug up the pathway, I hope they hurry up and get it finished and then you can resume your rightful car park place. Not a lot I can say about Archie and the Black Eyed Susan, I wonder why it is different any way you know what to buy him for Christmas but he will need one the size of the beanstalk in a Jack and the Beanstalk otherwise it will be gone before breakfast. In OTLs picture I looked at the little bright spot and then looked around from there so you were right. This morning I went to a talk about The Stone Age and we were allowed to handle tools made of flint and a Mammoths’ tooth, they only had four teeth but unlike TLs who get two sets they have six sets. I bet you didn’t know that elephants have six sets of teeth as well! I’ve been watching some tennis, sad for the 15 years old who lost today but pleased with the rest. Tuesday coming up getting ready for our holiday, Michael is having another birthday on the 22nd, Daisy Girl will be 11 years old on the 19th and leaves her junior school that day. She is going back that evening as they are doing a show about “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. Do you think Black Eyed Susan tastes of chicken or maybe duck?? xxxxxx
