Hi Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!
First of all, thanks for the helpful advice regarding instructing ferret wooing!
Miss Wendy has been 'Done', so the 'Poor Man in Trouble' is a no goer!
Eric has lost his jewels so he doesn't wake up with a glint in his eye either!
Last night there was no screaming at four or even five but we did find a poo in the sleeping area, so Miss Wendy did have a 'Moment' with Eric but it looks like Eric went back to sleep!
Wendy came out with us for a walk and had a great time ferreting in the long grass.
Back home Eric was showing off 'cos he didn't go out for a walk and when they came out of the cage for a rampage around the house Eric chases Wendy, who then hides under some boxes and when they finally meet.....................well, that's when the fight started!
If ever you have been close enough when ferrets are having a punch up you will know they have the same defencive action that a skunk has and it don't 'arf make your eyes water.....Phew!
Lunchtime came and it was just too hot for Eric to come out with us, he said he would stay on the hammock and catch the breeze as it wafted through the window and across his tummy!
Not that we worried 'cos that means Holly and I can go at our own speed and try to mug anyone who had any food!
We came across one Two Legs but he told us to 'Woof Off', in his own language!
We went for a drive as well 'cos Old Two Legs had to drop some stuff off at the carriers and we had plenty of time to enjoy the air con in the car, super and almost too cold!
So, let's hope there is peace and quiet tonight and they stay snoozing until it's getting up time!
Better still, we creep into the office and find them cuddled up on the hammock.
I suppose that is a little too much to ask for at the moment, but, claws crossed, they have three weeks before we go on holiday and we want them in the same cage by then!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well it looks like every day there's a bit of an improvement, so paws crossed it carries on. If not then you and Holly will have to step in and give them a woofers warning when they start acting up. Tomorrow I've got to go to the vets for my prescription check up, I think I might tell them I'm beginning to feel an itch round the butt so they can check that for me. I was wondering if Alfie lodger had some ferret in him, he had the sort of skunk thing going on at times, he was a bit creaky and whiffy. It's been a busy day here, wot with dusting and hoovering and washing the sofa throws, then my mum went shopping while I had a little snooze after all my hard work. We've got a pile of ironing to do a bit later and we planned a siesta but so far we haven't managed to fit it in. It's been hot again but I think I heard some thunder rumbling about 10 minutes ago. My boy is on late shift this evening so he'll be tired when he gets home but with a bit of luck he'll still have a game of wrestling with me. Right I'd better go tell my mum it's scoff time. Hope you all have a good evening and a very peaceful night with no fights. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippersxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteIt does seem that every day they are getting better bit by bit and loads of time for the complete transformation paws crossed. Sounds like thunder in Archie’s location but a bit of arm wrestling will tire him out so he will sleep through it all. The temperature is supposed to be cooler tomorrow and I can’t say I will be disappointed, the trouble is it gets hot, hot, hot then colddddd descends and we all freeze. The little ones will be needing hot water bottles again and you and Holly will be enticing TM to get up so that you can nab the warm spot. Good luck tonight, sleep peacefully and keep warm. xxxxxx
