Not such a good day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here.

I don't know what it has been like your end of the world but it has been a very windy day here in sunny North Kent!

I say sunny but that was behind the clouds and we didn't see too much of the sun!

Well, the sun is there somewhere!
There was also rain in the air so we didn't hang about too long, I mean, who wants to get wet?

Lunchtime was better, the wind had got higher and was blowing the trees about something rotten.

Old Two Legs said we should look out for falling branches and worse, falling trees!

Is it falling over or is it us being blown over!
It was a worry, all that wing but Holly and I had an answer, we stayed in the middle of the football field where there were no trees!

I see no trees!
OTL had his camera with him but didn't see any insects except a Small White butterfly who was desperately trying to keep out of the wind!

I'm not going anywhere until it stops blowing!
While OTL was wandering along looking for insects Holly and I found a super sniffy pile of poo that just screamed out to us that we should have a good roll!

So we did!

And then we rolled again!

Then OTL spotted us and started to jump up and down, the way he does when he's not too pleased with us!

When we got home we both got put into the garden and we saw through the window that he was getting out all the Woofer Washing stuff!

Shampoo, cut up towel to give us a good rub down and four Doggy Towels!

That was it, Holly was first into the shower to get Washed and Sploshed and squirted with cold water!

Holly got dried off and then it was my turn.

Now, I had more poo on me 'cos I was the first to find the poo. I got a serious scrubbing from the tip of my nose to the very end of my tail and everything in between!

After that I was dried down with the towels and given a brush. We were both told to lay down on the blanket on the sofa and warned ' not to move'!

Well, that was OK until OTL went off to pick up The Missus from the village hall after her 'Glue & Glitter Day' with all her mates.

Of course, as soon as she got in we told her about OTL being nasty and washing off all the poo but she didn't see out point of view, dunno why, I mean, she keeps telling us she loves us!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well you and Holly have my full sympathy. I got my face scrubbed today cos my mum said it was dirty, it wasn't, I was just saving a few crumbs for if I didn't get fed tonight. Wot was worse was my boy holding me still while my mum scrubbed away my crumbs, then out came the scissors for the crumbs wot was trying to cling on. Wot's with these TL's. We've had lots of wind as well and every time I need a wee my mum comes out with me and tells me to hurry up cos the trees at the bottom of the garden look like they might fall down, so far we've had bits of branches coming down but the trees have stayed up, mind a big tree came down a few streets away. We've not had any rain and it's been quite sunny but that wind really gets up yer tail. Now I bet that was a really choice sniff you rolled in today. I haven't found a decent sniff in a while but I still keep practising my rolling. Smashing pictures today, I felt sorry for that little flutterby in the wind. Hope you recover soon from your scrubbing, I can't understand Mrs TM not being on your side. Hope you all have a lovely evening with some nice snackettes to make up for OTL's cruelty. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Well Daisy . . . being a TL myself, I can fully understand why you got bathed when you got home . . . us TL do not understand why you would roll in a big sniff like that! But if you do, you have to accept the consequences! Hope the sniff and roll was worth it!

Extremely high winds our way all blinking day. Didn't venture out for a walk until the evening when things had calmed down a little! Still pretty breezy this morning!

    Happy Sunday xxxx
