Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back again!
Now, you all know what today is, don't you?
It's Miss May's birthday today and we reckon she is about seven years old.
Seven years is a good age for a ferret and although she is not as fast as she used to be, she still gets about quite well.
A little bit of hair loss but we put that down to the medicine she is taking to combat the Insulinoma.
So now, all together, after one thousand and seven.........ready?

Miss May has been spending most of the day snoozing with Eric and as a special present, she got an egg from Old Two Legs and some extra Brambles Biscuits!
Today we had a visitor armed with saws and branch chopping instruments of war!
The Missus had decided that the tree in the back garden needed a haircut! There was loads of sawing and chopping and cries of 'Timmmberrrrrrrrrr!' as big branches came crashing to the ground!
The bird box fell off as he was examining it to see how it was attached to the tree!
OTL kept out of the way 'cos he doesn't do garden stuff very well!
There was some rain this morning when we headed for the sea shore.
The sun was hiding behind the trees and clouds.

Glad to hear Miss May got a nice egg and more brambles biscuits. Hope none of that tree landed on any of the frogs. I bet it was good watching it all get chopped down, did it remind you of having a grooming? You know, a little snip here and a little snip there. Nice pictures today. We had a downpour at one point this morning but mostly it's been sunny and dry with a few gusts of wind now and then, not really been a bad day but my mum reckons it's still a bit warm and she had the air conditioning on at work this morning. Now my mum was a whole hour late home from work today, I wasn't overly happy about that but my boy was here so I was alright, he's on late shift today. Me and my mum have had a bit of a dozy day, we like to snuggle up and snooze but sometimes it gets a bit noisy wot with the council gardeners on their big mowing machines. Then along comes the postman clanging the letterbox, then some other chaps with some noisy ladders and drill type things. Never mind, one more day of getting up at the crack of dawn then my mum will be off work until next Friday so it'll be like a holiday. Mind I reckon she's got things planned for the week but at least I'll have Alfie around from Tuesday onwards to keep me company, I wonder wot we can plan to do while my mums busy doing jobs in the house and garden, I'll have to get planning some activities. Battleship grey sounds a nice colour for your shed, it will blend in with the boats going by on the sea.
