Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
More fun and games today. As you know, yesterday we were trying to get Eric and Wendy together which resulted in some loud screams from Wendy and Eric being chased all over the place.
Well, Old Two Legs decided that over night he would put them back in their own cages, for safety's sake and so we can all get a nights sleep!
This morning it all started again.
A bowl with some Ferretone was put down and both ferrets placed either side of the bowl, two ferrets slurping away all peaceful like, until the oil had gone then Miss Wendy flew at Eric, tried to grab his neck and they were rolling around..............and that's when the fight started. More howling and screaming from Wendy. It sounded like a War Cry mixed with a Battle Cry but the funny thing was, it was Wendy who was doing the attacking and making all the noise!
Talking of noise, Holly and I were on the bed enjoying a teeth cleaning chew when Eric wandered into the bedroom. Holly, being very protective of her food decided to call OTL in to get Eric out of the bedroom!
Now, there are several 'woofs' we woofers have, like there is the 'Clear Off or I'll Sort You Out'!
Then there is 'I Wanna Go Out For A WEEEE'!
The best is ...'There's a Cat in the Garden and I Want To Eat It!!!!!!!!!
Today it was another woof, it was............
'He's in here, He's in here, He's in here, He's in here!'
OTL wandered into the bedroom and found Eric half way up the duvet trying to get onto the bed!
That was it, Eric gets thrown out of the bedroom and Holly and I went back to sleep, cuddling our chews!
So, that was it, Eric went looking for Wendy and she went looking for a safe place to hide!
After cleaning the cages Eric climbed into the cuddle cup and OTL noticed that Eric had one eye closed, looks like he got a black eye from Wendy!
We'll have a look at it after he wakes up later.
Eric came out with us this morning, the sun was out and so were the nasty little midge type insects, OTL was walking about with the hood of his jacket up over his head!
Not that they bothered Holly or Eric, we are used to little insects!

She was not happy and stayed under the blanket mumbling and grumbling at OTL!
Lunchtime OTL took her out with us, mainly 'cos she would be tired after a run along the seafront in the warm sunshine and less likely to attack Eric'

Good to see Archie Babe has got rid of his visitor, we feel the same when the Hooligans go after visiting us, normally all the food bowls are empty and the chews have disappeared from the Treat Box!
It's always lovely to see them, that is when they arrive but it's better when they go!
OTL says he may chance leaving both ferrets together in the cage tonight 'cos today it has been relatively quiet, cross claws there will be no screaming from Wendy!

Yo maties. Well you know wot they say, about breaking up and making up, wink, wink, say no more. I don't know who's braver, OTL or little Eric but I know I wouldn't want to be locked in with a screaming banshee woman, no way pedro. Poor Eric, he was probably coming to see you and Holly to get a bit of TLC after being screamed at and chased and then Holly gets him chucked out, but then again he did snitch on you two last week. I'll keep my paws crossed that Wendy starts acting like a lady and behaves herself and lets little Eric snuggle up to her very soon. Yep Daisy, you're right about visitors, nice when they come but mostly even better when they go home cos then you can put your paws up and have a peaceful stretch out on the sofa and there's no one about to pinch yer spot or try to get your grub. My mum and my boy went out this morning for brunch, they went to burger king cos that's their favourite burger place, stuffed their faces and came straight back home, so they weren't gone long, in fact they got home just as it was my scoff time, now I would have rather gone with them but I spose someone has to stay home and guard. Not that I have to do any guarding now cos since we got this new doorbell, if anyone comes up near our door it shows up on the Alexa screen and my mum can tell them on her phone to buzz off so I don't need to woof at them anymore anyways her woof is much more fierce than mine. Since then we've had a lazy day cos both my mum and my boy are back at work tomorrow but my mum will be home before my boy goes out so I won't be home alone. Smashing pictures today. Well I'll wish you all a peaceful and quiet evening with no extra rounds from Wendy or Eric. I'm off to woof at my mum because it's scoff time so I'll do my, get in the kitchen and rattle them pots and pans woof. ReplyDeleteHello there again, well it seems like someone is determined, not sure who is most determined whether it is OTL determined to get them in one cuddle cup, Wendy determined to keep Eric out or Eric who just wants a quiet life. Nice sunny pictures today, lovely to see Eric catching a few rays but poor OTL having to wear his anti tiny insect gear, he must have been really warm. TM will be busy getting another village hall brigade organised and hopefully OTL has finished his manufacturing so you can have a lazy, snoozy pre weekend. xxxxxx
