OTL gets Tecnical with the Help Desk!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Another sign that Autumn is here, The Missus and Old Two Legs installed the 'Winter Half' of their duvet this morning.

I must say, the 'Winter Half' does make the bed all snugly and warm!

This morning we were up late and missed the sunrise which while it was colourful wasn't spectacular, no clouds, just the sun coming over the horizon!

As we were a little late, it gave Eric time to wake up and convince OTL to take him with us which wasn't any hardships and he did enjoy a run along the Sea Wall and even had a little dig in the sand on the beach!

Back home Holly and I waited until the duvet was on before jumping up to give it a good test before falling asleep for an hour or two!

Hey! It was good to hear that Archie Babe managed to run circles around the vet, it's good when you can get your own back!

Lunchtime came early 'cos OTL had been chatting to the ISP (Internetty Service Provider), or rather the 'Help Desk'.

There has been some trouble with the Internetty, it keeps stopping and was beginning to drive OTL to call it all the names he normally reserves for the computer!

Well, the Help Desk sent a filter that had no effect, in fact the whole thing stopped until OTL took it out again!

The Help Desk said that they had tested the line and found that everything was working as it should.

This upset OTL and he asked them if they understood the word 'Intermitant'!

They agreed that OTL should keep a log of the times the Internetty falls over and what the results are of the BT Wholesale Line Test. This he did and it looks like the Modem was at fault cos the incoming signals were within specification but the out going was a load of poo!

A new up to date model of modem is on it's way!

Wendy came out with us for the lunchtime walk and once she got going, she had a great time sniffing the sniffs and digging holes in the sand!

Back home she went into the cage and headed off to the food bowl, waking Eric up as she stood on his head to get her nose into the bowl.

Now, Eric didn't like that and thought that she was attacking him.

..................and that's when the fight started!

It was a good thing that OTL was there to part them both and after a cuddle Eric went back to bed and Wendy rolled into the bed and went to sleep!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  2. Yo maties. Well now, these help desk bods are a pain in the butt. My mum says they lie like cheap watches. My mum often tells them they should be on this end of the line cos wot might be alright at their end and wot comes thru this end are 2 different things. In fact, my mum reckons help desk bods aren't real, she thinks they're robots. Hope OTL gets a decent signal with the new modem. I don't blame Eric for getting upset cos Wendy stood on his head, I'd get upset if someone stood on my head but I hope they get over their little tiff soon. My mum is putting the winter half of the duvet on the bed on Sunday, until then she has to make do with me snuggling up close, mind, I've got my little duvet on to keep me warm. My mum did put the heating on while she had a bath this morning though, cos it was a tad chilly even if it was sunny. I went for a nice walk and bumped into Brenda and Milly so we all walked along together and me and Milly were discussing the new sniffs we sniffed. Hope you all have a lovely peaceful evening with some decent snackettes. I have to go to bed early tonight because of work tomorrow but my boy has the day off so maybe he'll snuggle with me while my mum is out. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. Isn’t technology wonderful, what we did a few years ago, how did we manage to survive without technology. Michael is having trouble with the Mobile provider because having answered the phone if he moves he looses the call. Today he rang and was told that they were working on our local mast but as he had been having trouble and a call was logged in March to report the same problem they are halving his charge for six months. We wait and see what happens, let’s hope a new modem will be the answer to a mans prayers. Still hit and miss literally with the little ones, come on you two get sorted!! 💕. Enjoy the winter duvet, so snuggley and I am so glad that you gave it the woofer test before tonight, it wouldn’t be right if it failed because you hadn’t had a chance to try it out. Those weather forecasters having been beaming all over our TV telling us how we are going to have all this rain, absolutely beaming and Michael has been nashing his teeth and snarling back at them! Oh he gets so annoyed when they beam and tell him the temperature is going to be minus 500%. With that I wish you a snuggley night xxxxxx
