A good ending to a sad tale.

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Last night the weatherman had forecast storms and rain and floods an loads of stuff! This morning it was raining, but not much, we didn't bother with our rain coats.

Dark and grey was all we saw this morning, not even a sunrise! There were puddles all over the place and of course there was squidgy mud as well!

When we got to the car park Holly and I walked through a puddle to wash off the mud and then a good shake to get rid of the water!

Back home it was off to the office and under the desk for a snooze!

Lunch time it wasn't any better, only just a little lighter!

As we walked around the path we came across a couple of woofers, one we know and one we didn't.

Old Two Legs was told by the Two Legs that she had taken possession of the new woofer which looked rather bald and a little unsure of it's self.

We all had a sniff but the new woofer growled and then we had a bit of an Arggy Barggy. It seems this little woofer was found lost, mucky and covered in mud. It looks like she had been wandering for some time.

She is, we think, a Bichon Frise, but the hair cut she had has made her nearly bald!

It's going to take a while for her grow it back again but when she does it should make her look a lot better!

Well, we can say that this is one little woofer who is going to have a very special Christmas this year, a warm bed and good food!

We just love happy endings!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Who doesn't love a happy ending? Great news for that little dog. I expect she'll feel better about things when her fur grows back . . . I mean, no woman is happy with a bad hair day is she? Perhaps you can forgive her for growling etc at you!

  2. Yo maties. Cor, it ain't half rained here today. My mum was very cross this morning, I went out for a wee & I sniffed something had been in my garden, so I set about investigating, so I didn't hear her telling me to come in. Out she comes in her dressing gown & starts chasing me round the garden in the pitch black & pouring rain at 4 in the morning. Now how nice is it to hear a story of a woofer finding a good forever home, one day I might be lucky & find one too. Hope that little woofer gets a nice warm coat from Santa paws. Brenda & Milly are coming for a cup of coffee & mince pie tomorrow, my mum said I've got to remember my manners this time & not show off like last time when I sulked when Milly came. I've got another early morning tomorrow but my boy might let me snooze with him cos he's got tomorrow off. Hope the rain goes away soon. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. Oh yes, that is a good feel story of a poor little abandoned woofer, I bet she is in for a warm snuggley Christmas and afterwards as well. It has been a funny sort of weather day, dull, rainy, sunny all at once sometimes, we had to go to Chatham to get Daisy Girls book token so had dinner out in one of those eat as much as you want places. We even had plawn quackers and big plawns with the shells still on, very messy to eat but very mmmmm. The postman came today with a card that TM made for us, afraid yours hasn’t arrived yet. Off to see Daisy Girl tomorrow be good and help OTL do all the chores xxxxxx
