Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!
We are now back to normal, Old Two Legs was up at six this morning! Though I must admit it wasn't all his own work. Miss Holly Chops, who was sleeping next to him had a sudden spasm in her back leg which made it shoot out suddenly and land in the middle of OTL's back!
Such was the force that OTL almost fell out of bed, but he was up at six!
It was pitch black outside and our walk was all in darkness. Not that it worried us cos we use our nose to sniff our way around the walk!
It's fun watching OTL navigate his way around just using his eyes, Holly and I can creep up on him and walk around the back of him without him seeing and watch him calling us while Holly and I are now ahead of him and sitting there waiting for him to turn back from calling us!
Now, OTL has been using his old wellies for some time and has discovered that they have holes in them, just where they have joins which means that when we are walking in the wet, OTL got soggy socks!
So, as reported earlier, a new pair of wellies were due for delivery today and as promised, they landed on the mat in time to take us out for our lunchtime walk!
These are the old wellies, the linings have been 'adjusted' by the ferrets who think it is great fun to use the wellies as temporary beds and the lining is a flap to keep the wind out!

Let’s see a picture of those new wellies now they have been walkies, I bet they don’t look so bootiful. So that was your last Diary of 2019, it has been really lovely to join you in your life as a Godwin in Godwin Towers, highs and lows as all our lives are but determined to make it into 2020 full of bounce 💕 💕. I hope the whizz bangs aren’t too troublesome to you and yours, last time someone I know sat up until 2am with their woofer who was traumatised with al the sudden noises, love to you all and take care of each other in the new year XXXXXX big kisses for the new year.
ReplyDeleteYo maties, happy new year to all of you at Godwin towers and all your readers. Them new wellies look like business, hope the ferrets don't try to do any redesigning. So OTL will have warm and dry plates of meat now. Is Mrs TM's pair on the way? Are you staying up to see the new year in, me & my mum think we'll probably be in bed early. We've done lots of work today so we can have a lazy day tomorrow. We went for an early walk but I didn't see any of my mates, I reckon they were having a lay in. After countless,fruitless tries on my ipad and phone to find a way into Google so I can comment ... its only my PC that allows me to comment here even tho I'm signed in on other devices and can acess You Tube ect ... Really puzzled by techo stuff somtimes! My boy has tried to sort it out for us but even he can't make it behave, it's a faff cos typing for us woofers isn't easy but typing on a phone is even harder.
