We are Back!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

A very belated Merry Christmas to you all and thanks for the cards, good wishes and the presents!

We left home on Christmas Eve and travelled to a strange land North of the River Thames! Actually, we headed West on the M25 and then onto the M40 and got off near the end!

We had been invited to spend Christmas with Uncle Martin and Auntie Lisa and the family!

Now, Holly started her life with them before she came to live with us. We have visited and stayed with them before but it is always fun, and, they get squirrels in the garden!

Of course, Holly and I spent loads of time sitting at the window waiting for them and then rushed out woofing our tails off and chasing them until they jumped over the fence!

Great fun!

Christmas day was great fun, we opened our presents from everyone and while there were loads of clothes for the Two Legs and stuff like that, us woofers got loads of food and squeaky balls that we had great fun chasing when the TL's threw them for us!

The table before the food arrived!
Christmas dinner was great, Turkey and Beef all super juicy and tasting great! Holly even tried some Brussels Sprouts and spent the rest of the day suffering from 'Wind'! Well, she had wind and we all suffered from her, if you know wot I mean!

Ooops! Sorry about that, it was the Sprouts!
The ferrets got food treats and Eric got a Green Squeaky Ball which he spent ages  trying to hide in his cage!

We couldn't let him and Wendy out to rampage around the house 'cos they might have wandered out into the garden so they had fun chasing the ball and pigging out on the nibble treats!

Plus they slept a lot!

We came home on Boxing day and got home feeling a little tired after a fun time. It was good to get back to the sea side for a walk and a sniff. The sniffs Up North are just not the same as a good sea weedy sniff!

We got loads of nibbles and so have Old Two Legs and The Missus, trouble is, those nibbles are not good for us woofers!

So, we have been warned, if we are caught with our nose near the nibbles we are in trouble!

As if we would!

Today we have been having a lazy day and Holly has announced that she doesn't want any more sprouts!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties.wow it sounds like you had a really good Xmas. Holly was very brave to try the sprouts, I had some once & I really liked them I thought they were yummy, but I didn't have wind, well me being a gentleman, I don't get wind. Glad to hear you got lots of lovely pressies, I did as well so thank you for yours, I've been having lots of fun with them. Glad you all got home safe. I bet it was very tiring watching out for the squirrels, I get them in my garden as well & I have to chase them out. My mum and my boy got lots of tasty treats and I'm not allowed to have them either. Hope you all have a good rest. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Tell Holly I won’t share our vegetable tray bake with her, there are carrots but sprouts as well, it will go lovely with cold roast beef. So glad you had lots of treats and definitely glad that it was only the TLs that had clothes, nobody had bought you and Holly PJs or funny hats, you did well. We went out all three evenings, lots of food and stuff, having an evening in tonight hence the cooking. You had a long journey but it was lovely to see Uncle Martin and Auntie Lisa and the boys again. The dinner table looked very pretty, I wonder if your bowls looked very festive? Enjoy the seaside sniffs perhaps the rocks will be back, lots of hugs xxxxxx
