Another Rock for Christmas!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

We got woken up early this morning, you know, lights on and stomping up and down the stairs and banging doors and cupboards!

The Missus was off to the Tesco store to be there at six in the morning when it opens to the public.

It really was cheeky, having woken up the whole street she then says to Old Two Legs, 'You going back to sleep for a bit?'

I mean, that was just uncalled for!

Being up so early means the whole walk was in pitch black with just the aeroplanes circling around waiting to go into land at Heathrow!

Lunchtime was interesting, we found another Grain Rock sitting on the park bench.

Warm innit?
The sun was shining and there was a breeze blowing and this rock seemed to think it was mid summer instead of one day past the Winter Solstice!

OTL was considering removing it to a new home but decided that it looked just right where it was, looking out to sea and wondering when the tide was due in so he could go for a swim, or should that be a 'sink'?

You know, rocks don't float!

We kept our eyes open for some more but there was nothing to be seen, maybe they are all getting ready for Christmas Day when they will all be out dancing around on the benches!

We are off to count the presents under the tree to see if there are any more since last night!

Hey! We just heard that Izzy's pups are three today but three of them have got the Grumbly Tum!

All together now......One Two Ninty Seven!

Happy Birthday to you
Have you been sniffin' bad poo
Maybe it was stale Wee wee,
Happy Birthday to Yoooooo!

So, big licky kisses to Izzy, Tommy, Genie and Lady with the Grumbly Tums and  not forgetting Bella and Hamish who haven't got the Grumbly Tum!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly,

  1. Ah lovely and early so I can comment while the dinners cooking (sausages) then we have nibbling visitors arriving at 7-30 pm. That’s a brilliant penguin and looks so nice sitting there good not to move him. TM is so dedicated to her Housewifey duties being at Tesco so early, I hope she wasn’t squashed too much. My friend missed the Marks and Spencer deadline for delivery and had the choice of Canterbury or Bluewater to go on Christmas Eve, she is driving to Canterbury to collect her “Bird in a bird in a bird in a bird in a bird” to roast on Christmas Day and some vegetables. I have no comment on this!!!!!! The sun shone today but it was very cold, still getting cards in the post and from neighbours but there can’t be many more. We have a birthday invite in Wigan but I don’t see us going there in six or so weeks. Take care, don’t eat all the food at once remember it will be Christmas and the shops shut for a whole day. xxxxxx

  3. Yo maties. Well wot a shame to have the grumbles on your birthday, poor woofers, I hope they get over it very soon. I thought of a birthday song but it would be too cruel to sing it. That's a smashing rock you found today. Fancy Mrs TM going shopping so early this morning. Me and my mum stayed in all day to waiting for the plumber to come and he didn't turn up so now we are waiting for quotes from 2 more. Tomorrow we're hoping the man is coming to mend the garage roof, he said if he gets his other job finished in time he will, if not he'll come after Xmas. So paws crossed we don't wait in for nothing. My mum might need to go shopping to get me extra pressies. There are no presents under our 🌲 cos my mum says I can't be trusted, wot a cheek. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
