First Sign of Spring!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

I am glad to report that we had our normal quota of snooze time last night, even though, The Missus fell asleep on the sofa and kept us all awake with her snoring!

After a while Holly got fed up with the noise and climbed onto the sofa and stuck her nose in TM's ear!

That woke her up!

Then she staggered off to bed!

Still, us woofers got a good nights sleep and OTL got his fare share of snoozes!

It is still dark in the mornings but the sky this morning had a sort of glow that indicated the sun wouldn't be long before it poked its nose over the horizon!

Spring is coming!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again and although there was a clear blue sky and some wind it sort of felt more like Spring than we have felt for a few weeks!

Yeah, Spring like but that wind sure blows up yer tail!
One of the good things about the lunchtime walk is trotting along the Sea Wall. OTL says it has two uses, one is to keep an eye on us and the second is to keep our claws ground down to our normal length!
I don't mind a claw trim like this cos the I just hate the clippers!
Rosie's Rock is still there on the moss mound and OTL says we will leave it there and see just how long it takes to go wandering!

Still here but the plants are growing!
As we got close to the car park OTL spotted some blooms on the Hawthorne Tree! Not just flower buds but real flowery blooms!

And it's still January!

Real Live Blooms!
So, there he is, snapping away to get a good shot with a camera that is a little wobbly on the focus!

Manual focus and f3.5! We really must get the big camera out!
So, there we are, the first blooms this year and Spring is on it's way!

Yahoo!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

  1. Thank you for the Spring pictures, lovely to see and the sunshine was a pleasant way of going nail clipping! Much brighter today, now if Rosie’s Rock stays there much longer you won’t see it for leaves so I hope someone rescues it soon then you can leave some more. xxxxxx

  2. Yo maties. Wot smashing pictures today, specially the one of you and Holly chops. We've had a fairly sunny day but it has been very chilly. I met up with Monty & Harley who live 2 doors down from me when I went for my walk so we walked together until they both sat down and wouldn't budge. I decided I would go home instead of waiting for them to shift their butts cos it was starting to turn quite chilly. We had a roofing chap turn up this morning who said he didn't do flat roofs but he'd have a look, well if you'd heard wot my mum was muttering under her breath you would have turned red. My mum went off to the shop wot sells building stuff, well I spose it makes a change from crafting stuff, she came back with a roll of stuff & up on the roof she went with it and some other stuff. She reckons it might help a little bit until she can find someone who knows how to do the job wot wants to earn some dosh. Apart from that, we've had no excitement here. Tomorrow I'm off to the vet for my medication check, a butt squeeze & a worming tablet yuk, yuk, yuk. Never mind I'm bound to get cuddles and a treat. Pleased to hear you got your required snoozes. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
