Holly The Tractor Driver!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Today was a lazy day, well, this morning Old Two Legs got up a whole hour later than normal. I didn't mind, that means I can have snooze under the duvet while he splashes around in the shower!

We got down to the beach and saw that the sun was trying to creep up over the horizon. Actually it didn't look too bad and we were expecting a bright sunrise but just when we thought it would spring into life, it died!

I mean, gone, poof!

It was here, then it went!
In fact, not a glimpse of red at all, it just went!

Might as well have a poo, unless he still has the camera out!
Lunchtime it was all light but still sort of grey. We had an interesting time listening to OTL talk about the buds that were getting ready for Spring to start. The small oak tree on the side of the path had a fine bunch of buds but they were not swelling up yet, but, it will be interesting to watch the development of the buds as the year went on.

Looking good buddy!
There were some other bud type things that OTL called 'Catkins'!  I mean, they look nothing like cats!

Bet they don't go Meow!
It all looks a bit blank, all the leaves gone and the buds fast asleep for the Winter!

The sniffs are a bit damp as well!
On our way back to the car park we heard a rumbling and groaning and a tractor type of thingy wotsit came crashing through the trees.

Holly reckons she would love to have a go driving it around the park and woods!

I can drive that!
She lives in Cloud Cuckoo Land some times!

OTL says that he will have an extra hour in bed tomorrow just so he can catch the sunrise. Holly and I reckon if we get the need to do a wee, he will be getting up earlier than he plans!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

  2. Yo maties. We had a right good lay in this morning mainly on account of we went to bed really late last night. I didn't go for my walk until nearly lunch time. Do you know, my mum and my boy went out to scoff just after I got back. They were gone ages. My boy is at work tomorrow and he's got to be at work at the crack in the morning to do stock taking & then he gets Wednesday off. My mum is muttering something about me and her getting up early so she can run him to work, now I thought I was getting lay ins all this week so I'm not right happy about getting up early. Loved the pictures today, I'm pleased to see OTL didn't sneak up on you when you was having a poo. Do you know I reckon Holly chops could drive that tractor, she's very clever. Hope you all have a good evening. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. Looking forward to that sunrise tomorrow if you let OTL stay in bed for that bit longer and if it is a bright day and if it doesn't rain, it is all ifs but you never know. That tractor thingy would be useful for OTL when it comes to poo shovelling, it would save time because he could keep it all until the trailer was full and you and Holly could use it thus saving poo bags and OTLs back not having to pick it up each time. There you are, more good ideas from me, tell me when did I ever come up with a good idea that you liked. I think if Archies mum wants to take his Boy to work then she should be allowed to but it doesn't mean that Archie has to be involved, he could carry on snoozing and guarding until she got back to prepare his breakfast. I know Archie would approve of that idea! Waiting for the sunrise xxxxxx
