Rosie Joins the Rock Band!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Sunday is a good day, we get up a bit later and then spend all morning woofing out of the window at passing Two Legs and the odd woofer!

Then, after the ferrets have had their rampage around the house, pinching all the Chicken Strips and Brambles Biscuits and drinking all the Lactose Free Milk we would retire to our sleeping mats under the desk.

You can't hide anything from those monsters!

The morning walk was still in the dark but there was a bit of a pre glow from the sun but not enough to say Wow!

Well, it's there but not yet!
One thing to say Wow about is the rocks given to Old Two Legs this morning. At the village hall crop yesterday, young Rosie painted up some rocks and decided to donate them to Grain!

Rosie Rocks!
We decided to plant them when we went out on our lunchtime walk. Today we left the ferrets sleeping, well, they had such a run around that they decided that bed was preferable to a windy beach and a chilly North Sea Breeze!

Well, we hunted around until we found suitable places and then, without anyone seeing us, we planted the rocks!

The first is in the car park on a block of concrete!

The First of Rosie's Rocks!
The second is under a bench!
There is a mound of moss which we have left rocks in the past, so, we thought we would try another!

On the Moss Mound!
As we walked around Old Two Legs spotted some Daffadillys sprouting up, Spring is well on it's way!
It's the Daffadillys!
The last rock we hid in the trunk of a tree where a branch had fallen off and left a hole just big enough for the rock!

I'm a Rosie Rock and you can't see me!
So, there they are, all planted and it will be fun  seeing how long they stay there before being found!

As soon as they go we will have to get Rosie to paint up some more!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Wow Rosie's rocks are beautiful, she is very clever to have painted them. I bet they get spotted and admired very soon. Clever OTL finding such good places to put them. Smashing pictures as well today. We got up quite early but didn't really get moving until after my mum watched Downton the movie. The sun was out when we went out but no woofers. I think you need to keep you stash of biscuits under lock and key to stop those sneaky ferrets pinching. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. Well done Rosie on the painted rocks, they are lovely and OTL has found some really good places to hide them. Let’s see how long before they are moved, very pretty and I hope she gets to see the pictures of their hiding places. You seem to have as much trouble keeping the goodies with two ferrets as you did with four, you need a doggie safe that only opens with your paw print then perhaps you will hold onto your stash for longer. Not a bad day, a bit cold but it is January but it is really staying lighter. The daffodils are coming along, I have seen pictures of some in your churchyard in flower, spring is springing xxxxxx
