.................and didn't it rain!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Dunno what it was like your end of the world but today when we headed off for our morning stroll along the beach. All the roads had enormous great puddles in them from one kerb, across the road to the other kerb!

In fact there were puddles where we had never seen puddles before!

Lucky for us, by the time we left home the rain had stopped but there were puddles and muddy bits all the way along the walk!

Back home it has been a lazy Sunday, the ferrets came out for a rampage then decided that a warm blanket in Old Two Legs office was the best place to be while OTL did his cage cleaning chores!

In the end, after hiding some chicken strips they headed for bed and their morning snooze.

I've never know an animal to sleep as much as a ferret!

I do hate it when they hide the chews under places I can't get, most frustrating and we have to get OTL to get flat on the floor and stick his arm under the furniture to get the chews!

Lunchtime, the ferrets decided to stay in bed rather than come for a walk.

For the second day the weather is quite mild, a little windy but most enjoyable and Holly found another rock that was left on one of the benches. It took a little while to work out what it was but when we looked and rotated it suddenly the picture was obvious!

White Long Necked Ducks!
Holly does come up with some strange ideas!

Mind you, leaving the rock on a bench will mean that it will disappear before tomorrow arrives!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well I thi it might have rained in the night cos it was wet when I went out this morning. It's been dry all day and sunny but really cold. I went for a walk & met up with Brenda and Milly so we had a nice chat while we walked & had a good sniff. Good job you told me wot the picture was on the rock cos I was having a bit of bother working it out but I can see now. Them ferrets are very cheeky, you were there first so you should get first dibs on treats. Lazy Sundays should be made law. I've had my mum and my boy home today so it means we all enjoy having time together with plenty of snuggles and wrestling. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Rainwise, it has been dry here but it was raining at midnight and there were big puddles this morning. We stayed in and Michael played on his computer putting up his “Sunday Five for the Week” for his Faceache Group, he chose five from Wednesdays visit to Riverside Park and then posted them and some others on his own page. My favourite was two young children in colourful wet suits and wellingtons splashing through a big puddle, their mum told us that the little one had already fallen flat. The picture is of their backs so it meets with any problems incurred with photographing children. When I saw the Rock I saw two lanterns but then yes, two long necked white ducks/swans.
Bin day again, I wonder how many Mondays there are in a week, hopefully we are going to Rye later in the week with a camera toting gang unless it rains. xxxxxx

  3. Cor, I'm glad you explained about the swans . . . I thought their beaks were ACORNS or something!

We didn't have as bad weather as you thankfully.
