Sunrise and a Sore Paw!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, we were up around our normal time and off down to the Sea Front. Mind you, Old Two Leg had to scrape the ice off the windscreen before we could get going!

We managed to catch a sunrise today!

It started off with the sun hiding below the horizon, so, we started of with the Bench & Poo Bin!

Wot a Classic Shot!
By the time we got to the sea shore you could tell that the sun wasn't too far away from climbing over the horizon and not a cloud to be seen, which would have been good to add a little of the 'Dramatic Effect'!

You can just see the very first bit of the sun!
It only took a few minutes for the sun to fully climb up and a few minutes more and it was just too bright to photograph!

...................and finally a whole sun!
Now, as I said, it was frosty this morning and before we went into the forest, the field was covered with frost. It was good to get off the grass cos that always makes your paws cold!

Frosty!
Talking of paws, Holly was limping a little and OTL reckons it is the bandaging on her paw being a little too tight but after removing it and after a half an hour she was all back to normal and bouncing along!

We had to put some more medication on her wart and with OTL being as careful as he can be, Holly now has a re bandaged leg and is walking as per normal!

Now all we have to do is get rid of that wart and OTL thinks that it may be a 'Knife Job' in the end!

Bang goes the savings, again!

Lunchtime OTL had a good look at the wart and it looks like the bandaging stuff is rubbing on the wart making it look sore. So, what to do.

OTL has an idea!

Instead of trying to cover up the wart and stop Holly from licking it, why not make it difficult for her to get to it?

So, back to the vet and after spending loads of dosh we are now at this stage.......I wonder if it will work?

Not Happy, Not no how Happy in fact I'm showing off, Big Time, the one thing I'm not is Happy!
I think that Holly has gone off OTL!

Still she will get a respite 'cos the collar will be removed so she can have a drink and a bite to eat, but afterwards, it goes back on!

I'm not laughing, honest!

Hey, before we go, on the way back to the car park we spotted another Rock!

I normally eat spiders but I don't fancy that one!
Well, that's it for today, I'm off to get some food and then I think I will stand in front of Holly and lick my lips!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Oh poor Holly chops, do you know my mum has got 2 of those collars here in case I need one. They're just plain cruel. Holly has all my sympathy. You can still eat and drink with it but it is uncomfortable. Mind they are great for banging in to the legs of the TL wot put it on. I hope Holly's paw gets rid of the wart very soon. Smashing pictures again today, that looks like Spiderman on that rock. Well the roofing chaps came wot a big gang of them, they were all over the place, on the roof, on the ground, they kept knocking to use the loo and get water for their kettle. They think they might be finished tomorrow, which is good cos they disturb my snooze. My mum went to the bank to pay the money & she's made the carpet wet with all the tears. Well I must go cos it's my scoff time & I must make sure not to upset my mum's routine, took ages to train her. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Lovely pictures of the rising sun and the new Rock but it looks a bit ferocious. Now poor Holly with that collar, I hope that wart makes a speedy departure and fancy you taunting her, you are very naughty, she will get her own back on you. If we had a frost I never saw it but then I left home st 1-30 pm so if it was frosty then it had given up by then. I hope Archies roof is sorted out and there are enough pennies for his scoff. Keep warm and safe during this wild weather that is forecast. xxxxxx
