Too Late for a Sunrise!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Now that it is February it seems like everything is starting to get going. This morning we were an hour late in getting up and by the time we got down to the Sea Front, the sun had got up and was warming the trees!

Old Two Legs brought his camera and managed to get a shot with the sun hiding behind the tree.

So, this shot is Bench, Poo Bin and Tree!
We were just a bit too late!
We noticed that OTL had grown a couple of inches, or should that be feet or even yards, well according to his shadow anyway!
A Long OTL
Being a bit late, we met up with young Barney, he's the one who loves ferrets and enjoys a butt sniff whenever he meets them!
Barny sez Hello!
As we headed towards the car, OTL got the flash out for the camera and brightened up the Hawthorne Blooms.

Pity he didn't get the focus sharp!
Just look at those blooms!
It has been noticed that Holly has been licking and worrying a wart on her leg, just above her dew claw, so, ring ring Miss Vet and  make sure OTL has his wallet in his pocket!

OTL thought it looked like a wart and the vet confirmed it but as Holly was licking and nibbling it the vet decided a two week course of Betafuse should do the trick. Looking at the box, it says that Betafuse is a dermatological gel with antibacterial (fusidic acid) and anti-inflammatory (betamethasone)!

It also said that you must not lick it, nibble it or drive and motor vehicle, that being so, Holly decided the only thing she can do is have a snooze!
Holly with her sore paw!
Lunchtime it looked rather  gloomy up in the sky, so we didn't hang around and instead headed back home for some more therapeutic snoozing!
Gloomy but Atmospheric!
We didn't meet anyone on the lunchtime walk which didn't please Holly too much, she had no one to show her bandaged paw to!
Sometimes it just seems like a long way when there's no one to meet!.
OTL has been crying all afternoon cos he has just found the receipt for the visit and  medication.

He is a bit of a cry baby sometimes!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties & Barney. Well it's mostly been full & very cold here today. That cold wind blew right up my tail. I met up with Boris the Bounce when I went out for my walk, we didn't hang around too long though cos we were freezing. I had my hoodie on but the wind even managed to get thru it. Lovely pictures today, now someone told me that blossom on a hawthorn bush this early means snow is on the way. The roofing chaps are coming to start the roof on Thursday so I should have lots of chaps to woof at, I'll be keeping a close eye to make sure they're working hard and doing a good job. Hope Holly chops isn't suffering with her paw. I think she's very wise cos everyone says sleep is good for you when you're sore or I'll. I hope her paw is better soon, maybe OTL should give his wallet an early night and it might feel better soon as well. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. I hope Hollys’ paw gets better soon and she should heed the advise on the label and not drive a motor vehicle, make sure OTL doesn’t get any on his paw or you will have to do the driving. That poor wallet, how long can it survive the repeated pummelling he gives it? The after rise was nice, all glowing golden and I hope Archie is wrong about the hawthorn and snow. Nice to see young Barney and hear that Boris the Bounce is in full bounce. xxxxxx

  3. Hope Holly feel better soon. Poor OTL . . . having to get his wallet out!

Lovely pictures. We also have hawthorn blossoming locally, not to mention snowdrops, daffs and cyclamen. 2 large daisies in my garden are blooming too!

    Have a good day. xxx
