Wet!

Hi Ho Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

You know, today has been just right, I mean, it has rained every time we wanted to go out for a walk and every time Old Two Legs went out in the car, it rained.

A perfect February!

First thing we just had our normal harness on, you know, the one where OTL picks us up by the handle and puts us in the back of the car!

Lunchtime it got worse and while it wasn't bucketing down, it was wet enough for OTL to get us dressed in our rain coats, over our harnesses!

Well, that way we stayed mostly dry and also warm!

We didn't go down to the beach, instead we walked to the football field behind our house and did our stuff there while OTL was hanging about behind us with the poo bag in his hand!

As soon as we got back home, he was gathering up his stuff and heading for the door, without us!

It was a bit much, I mean, he was heading off to a fifty-acre park and we reckon he should have taken us, if only to guard the car!

Instead we had to stay at home and keep a watch through the bedroom window waiting for his return!

While we were waiting, The Missus got out a couple of rawhide chews which are one of our most favourite chews!

We went up into the office and set about enjoying them.

Eric was woken up by the noise Holly was making, what with chewing the chew and banging the plastic collar on the cage.

Eric came down to see what all the noise was about and was greeted by a big growl from Holly who thought he chew was about to disappear!

Eric got fed up with teasing Holly and headed for bed. A little later we looked in their cage and saw this................

We thought there would be a tail or two to tell!
OTL came back late afternoon and, yes, it was still raining!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

  1. Wotcha maties. Well it's been another very chilly day here & I didn't fancy going out but my mum made me. I went a few yards then turned round but my mum insisted I carried on. She's such a bully sometimes. That cold wind blew right up my tail. When we got back home we had a nice snuggle to get warm again. It's been mostly dry with a couple of little showers. We had a lazy day because of getting up early tomorrow. I don't blame Holly chops for warning Eric off her chew
though, he is a bit of a tealeaf. Shame OTL didn't take you both to guard the car, there's lots of car tealeafs about. Hope you enjoyed your chews in the warm though. Nice picture of Eric's tail. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Well you had a good tail to show and tell today and a good raw hide chew to go with it. I would have been happy to stay in and not go to that big park with OTL , no fun sitting in the car because just who would have been silly enough to be there? No one and you would have been bored and would have steamed the car up for when OTL needed to see to drive home, no fun at all, wait for a nice day then blag a lift to see what the place is about. I got wet and I only went from door to car and car to church hall but the sun came out for my return so I was dry when I got home. Tomorrow I am going out to lunch with my friend, well we couldn’t get any tall, dark and handsome men to invite us out on Valentine Day so we are going to the local cafe for a coffee and a sandwich. I pictured Archie trying to go home in the wet, his mum is such a hard taskmaster, poor Archie 💗. Stay dry, take care xxxxxx
