Wot a Sunrise!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Old Two Legs was in a good mood this morning, you see he woke up on time, got out of bed without falling out, if you know what I mean!

We had a look out the window and it wasn't raining! Mind you, there was a splash of ice on the car windscreen,

Looking out of the office window we saw what promises to be a brilliant sunrise. I mean, the whole sky was red and there was even some cloud, just to add a bit of interest!

That was it off we went down to the sea front.

On the way we paused to get a shot across towards the Dinosorearses that hadn't woken up yet!

Wakie Wakie Dino's!

Before we got to the sea front, we could see the sky over towards Southend on Sea, almost like the Aurora Borealis!

A Southend on Sea Aurora Borealis!
Finally we got to the sea front and saw that the sun was still below the horizon. We were watching it get brighter and the whole vist was changing as we stood there watching the sun come up!

The Sun is creeping over the horizon, just!
Then, sixty seconds later the whole sky changed and ....POW!

Just look at that!
Lunchtime OTL needed to drop a parcel off at the carriers, not our normal on but reasonably local. Off we went and OTL left us in the car while he took the parcel in, only to come out with it!

It seems that the carrier would not be calling to collect until Monday, so off we went looking for another 'Drop Off Point'!

The next nearest one was several miles away and in a massive housing estate. Now I wouldn't say OTL got lost but we saw the same road several times and when we finally found it, it was in a place we have never been before!

This one had a collection later on this afternoon, so, OTL is a happy chappy!

We got our afternoon walk but it was an hour later than normal but it was still fun!

Over the weekend we got Storm Dennis the Menace, lets hope it stays away from our part of the world, we could do with some more sunrises!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

P.S. Here is another shot three minutes later!

Nicely Framed!

  1. Yo maties. Well wot smashing pictures today. My mum said she was watching the sunrise when she was having a break at work this morning. Storm Dennis can do one, I'm fed up with the cold wind. My mum said it was warmer when she went out at 4.40 than when she had her break at 7. I hurt myself last night when it was bedtime, there I was on the bed making it nice and comfy when something happened and made me yelp. Now my mum came running to see wot was wrong but I didn't tell her & I wouldn't let her examine me so she said I was just making a fuss, now that's not a nice thing to say to me. Anyway I decided I won't be doing any more housekeeping for her. My boy had the day off today so we all watched Picard together, they had bacon rolls but I only got my normal scoff. We're not looking forward to more storms but we've got everything put away so it can't blow our stuff away. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Hope the storm passes you by. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Beautiful sunrise pictures, I hope he can take more tomorrow as I don’t want pictures of Dennis. I was out at lunchtime and a lady saw me pull my coat collar up and said that she could tell that Dennis was coming, I nodded in agreement but did think that if I didn’t know about the storm then I might be puzzled, especially if I had a significant other called Dennis. I rather pity any Dennis around because everyone is discussing him. I hope the parcel was collected on time, it seems like you had quite an adventure dropping off the said parcel what with the sunrise, parcel drop off and then the impending Dennis. Take extra care, look after your TLs, don’t let them get into mischief, as if. xxxxxx

  3. FANTASTIC photo's today. OTL outdid himself.

We have amber weather warnings for rain in our neck of the woods tomorrow, and yellow wind ones today AND tomorrow. Off to batten down the hatches!

    Take care. xxx
