Hi Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
There has been a lot of activity in the pond, we reckon it is mating time
and the frogs are making frog spawn again! Mind you, we haven't heard any
croaking yet, maybe later!
It's Monday and we are tearing around like Blue Tailed Flies! Old Two legs
has been visiting customers and suppliers and spending money as well!
He was in one shop getting some A4 envelopes when he saw one of our
favourite nibbles, Chicken Strips!
Now, not only does Holly and I just love them but the ferrets go potty over
them as well!
You know, it's a good job OTL doesn't like them or they will be gone in one
day!
Eric grabs a strip from OTL's hand and sits there chomping away at the
chicken strip and holding it in his paws!
Miss Wendy grabs a strip and runs off with it and hides it under the blanket
so she can nibble at it later!
Holly and I just woof it down straight away!
Then we go back for another one!
Now Holly was a good girl and didn't snap at the nurse who took the stitches
out. Well, actually she couldn't cos OTL had flipped her onto her side and
pinned her down while the nurse held Holly's paw and whipped the stitches out
with a wicked looking scalpel blade that could have been used as war blade!
It wasn't long before all the stiches had been removed and Holly was on the
floor and heading towards the door, except that the floor was lino and Holly's
paws were skidding on the lino and being attached to the lead wot was attached
to OTL's hand, she wasn't going anywhere!
In the end she was back in the car and telling OTL to 'Hit The Gas' and ’Go
for Home'!
As a treat, OTL took the horrid collar off and let her ride home without it
on. I gave her a Woofers Welcome when she got back and since then she has been
trying to have a crafty lick of her paw but both OTL and The Missus have been
keeping an eye on her but even so, she has managed a lick or two before getting
caught!
The itch is slowly going but it may take a day or two to stop licking it!
OTL keeps Holly under the desk and every time she moves hi is there,
watching her!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!
Yo maties. I'm really pleased to hear Holly chops got her stitches out, I bet she's right pleased. Wot a good chap OTL is to bring home some treats. I haven't seen any of my 🐸 mates yet, I don't think my frogs like the rain much. I got my mum up very early this morning cos I thought she was going to work & I forgot she had the day off, she weren't best pleased. We had a nice walk at lunchtime, it was raining first thing so I waited til it stopped. My boy has got an exam tomorrow so we've got our fingers crossed he passes. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteGood news on the stitches, it sounds like Holly didn’t have much chance to nip anyone and now she is collar free all she has to do is not lick, well not too much, not soggy lick. The frogs are having fun, soon be more jumping and hopping going on, wouldn’t Eric just love to join in. I hope that tomorrows exam goes well for Archies boy, if he passes then I think he deserves one of those chicken strips xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWahoo . . . stitch-free (if not ITCH-free!). Holly is doing well . . . and good on OTL for buying chicken strips along with the envelopes! The mind boggles at the type of shop he was in! LOL!
