Hello Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
What a mixture of weather we have had today. We were listening to the radio yesterday and someone who came to England from Iraq said that only in England had he experienced four seasons in one day! Well today we have had them here! We have been lucky that when it was all thunder and torrential rain we had just got back into the car and could sit there watching it all bucket down, washing the car at the same time!
We had just got back from our sea side walk where the sun had been beating down giving us all a sun tan!
We met up with that funny little woofer who thinks iy is fun to woof at Old Two Legs but unfortunatley when he starts woofing it sounds as though he is trying to gargle with custard!
Holly and I don't bother with these woofers, I mean, they are smaller than us, noiser than us and they just love it when OTL tickles their tails!
We walked on and saw that there was a large storm cloud over in Essexand we weren't sure if it was heading towards or away from us!
While Essex was getting a was OTL was looking for lizards and grass snakes, we found one of those hopping things that hide in the grass. We weren't sure if it was a cricket or grass hopper and by the time we got OTL to have a look, the hopping thing had hopped off!
Before we headed over the hill and off to the car we looked back at Essex and saw that the storm had moved on!
Mind you, we got back to the car just in time cos the rain started but it started from a storm cloud behind us, not from Essex!
Now, we did think that Archie Babes TL was rather brave climbing up on the rood to brush off the tree seeds, I mean, why not just chop the trees down?
OTL used to go climbing all over the place when he was installing his stuff but now he has stopped doing that and will only stand on small ladders!
Well, he is getting too old and crotchety for all that stuff nowadays!
He says that he can make more profit with the computer and a box of bits than climbing around on long ladders and roofs!
Hey, I've just thought of a reason not to chop trees down, well, you need somesthing to wee on don't you!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well our weather has been much the same as yours. My mum said on the way home from work this morning, part of our road was flooded, now she thought the men working on putting new gas pipes in had drilled through the water pipe by mistake, but seems they hadn't and it was cos of all the rain last night .... my mum said it's still flooded now cos she just picked my boy up from work and she said that quite a few of the roads round here have got huge great puddles wot ain't going down the drain .... she said it's those blooming tree seeds wots blocking up all the drains. Now my mum isn't that brave, she don't do ladders, she gets out the hall window wots above the garage roof .... mind if she gets any fatter, she won't fit through it and then she'll have to get a ladder. My mum don't do heights like I don't do WET. We've had a bit of a quiet day cos although her toofs aren't hurting much, it seems that all those tablets she took to stop them hurting has upset her and she's got the grumblies at bit. Don't you just hate it when you feel dirty dick. I'm pleased to hear you weren't flirting with that woofer. My mum says I sound like a cockerel when I bark ....... wot a cheek. My boy had hot dogs for tea, he reckons he could have eaten me he was so hungry, I told him, you and Holly chops reckon I'm a hot dog. I'm glad you managed to get back to the car before the rain came down. Nice pictures today. Paws crossed that the weather is a bit drier tomorrow. Take care and have a good evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (hot dog) Arch and the Nippers. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
