Hi Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
Well, not the most exciting day but between the showers we managed to get our walks in and when it was raining, we managed to get our snoozes in!
This morning young Eric was bouncing around his cage making a load of noise and waking Wendy out of her slumber.
Old Two Legs said that as Eric was so bouncy, he could come out with us for a walk around the old golf course, that should quieten him especially as the grass would be wet with dew!
To begin with Eric was all for going for a run but the wet grass made his tummy wet so he climbed back into the ferret bag. At the half way point he had got brave enough to stay on the ground and with a few stops, he managed to run all the way back to home!
A quick rub down with a Doggy Towel and he was set for charging about the house. By the time Wendy was getting tired, tiredness was also creeping up on Eric and before long they both decided to put themselves to bed.
Lunchtime we thought that they would like another run but both of them were still fast asleep, tucked up in one of the cuddle cups.
That's the trouble with ferrets, no staying power!
OTL tried his trick again but we were ready for him!
We kept on watching him as he walked along the top path while we went off on the middle path!
It didn't matter, we had our eyes on him and he couldn't get away again!
Holly said we should run off leaving him behind but I said he would be upset if we managed to lose him!
Look at him, even now he looks lost!
There were a few TL's and a couple of woofers on the sea front but other than that it was quiet.
Now, we have a calendar that OTL puts things on it to remind us of appointments or anniversaries.
Guess what tomorrow is?
It's Eric's birthday!
Yo maties. Well I managed a walk first thing before the rain came today, I wasn't too sure about going out but my mum made me. My mum went off to get my tablets from the vet and me and my boy stayed home and had a good old wrestle while she was out. On the way home she stopped off at the shops cos my boy said something about wanting hot dogs ....... I was wondering just wot she was going to bring home. Anyways, just as she pulled up outside and went to unload her stuff from the car, we had a real heavy downpour of hail stones ...... I was sitting laughing, see, she don't like getting wet either. My boy is off to the gym later, I've been looking at him but I can't see he's lost any weight yet. I'm planning a nice snoozy evening in the warm and dry. Glad Eric managed to get a walk in this morning. Loved the pictures, now don't get OTL lost, he'll cry if he can't find you. You and Holly chops are really kind to save up some chicken strips for Eric for his birthday, just remember to bite the bits off with the teef marks in them and he'll think they're new strips. I'll have a think of a song for his birthday. Take care all and have a good evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
