Where did the sunrise go to?

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret with you again.

We were up early today so we could get the big car back down to the menders. The sun was still below the horizon so the sky was a little muted, but Old Two Legs got close to the hedge and took this shot. Can you see the birds on the wire?

Early morning shot across the football field.

It was amazing that by the time we came back to the football field after wandering around the golf course, the sun was up and it was all bright and cloudy!

Mind you, with the overnight rain we saw the drops of water on the pine needles. OTL said it looked interesting and of course just couldn't resist taking a shot!

The pine cones that fall out of the tree are massive, I mean, they look like rugby balls but they hang on for ages!

Back home we were left on our own as OTL headed off to the menders and found that he had to leave the car there all day so that they could get the spare parts. That means OTL had to wait for The Missus to come and pick him up.

While he was waiting, he had a stroll along the Saxon Way and spotted a squirrel running through the bushes and trees. He also saw this bunch of fungi on the grass, we don't know its name but it looked interesting enough to take a picture with the phone!

OK, paws up, who knows what it's called?

TM arrived and off he went back home.

It's now half past four and there is no sign of the car so we reckon they will be keeping it overnight 'cos they haven't got the spare parts.

It's a good job OTL doesn't need the car!

Just as I typed that last line, the phone rang and it was the menders. 'The Spare Parts will be tree to four days' says the man. As we said, it's a good job we don't need the car!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well I'm sorry to hear about the car, I'll keep my paws crossed they get it sorted sooner. Nice pictures today, I don't know what that fungus is called, my mum don't know either. I've been keeping an eye on the squirrels here today, they've been fighting. Now, my mum told my boy off and slapped the back of his legs today. You see, me and my mum were having a snooze on the sofa, all snuggled up, when my boy came down to make a sarnie, well, off he went with his sarnie and drink but he left me shut in the kitchen, he shut the living room door so he wouldn't disturb my mum but forgot to open it again when he went off to stuff his face, well I cried and my mum came to find out why, and there I was, all sorry for my self, all shut in. My mum told him he was a big bully and I watched while she slapped him and I laughed. That'll teach him. We've all got a few days of not working so we'll be having so nice lay ins and I might even have a wrestle or two with my boy when I forgive him. We're looking forward to seeing Mrs TM on faceache this evening. Take care all and have a good evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
