Hello Woofers!
It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
Well, the rain held off for most of the day today but there was a load of water left and the fields were wet and seriously soggy!
I must say that we were happy to have our walk cut short but we still ended up with wet tummies!
Lunchtime was much better; we asked the ferrets if they wanted to come with us but we had no success in waking them up!
No thanks, I'm warm and snuggly thank you!
So, no joy there then! Today we went down to Grain in the car. We used the car 'cos Old Two Legs got another message from the car that the battery was low!
They got the emergency crew out to pump out the telephone exchange!
Everywhere the fields were flooded and ditches full to the tops!
The roads were flooded as well, mind you, OTL likes driving through puddles!
Once we were down of the sea front we met up with a few mates and enjoyed a group sniff and a woof at a jogger pounding along the sea wall.
Another thing we saw was the last of a tree that was rather interesting and it had been coppiced in the past, but now, it was gone!
It was there but now it's gone!
Driving back, we stopped by this field that was almost covered in rain water. I reckon you could get a rowing boat out and have a paddle around!
Driving back, we were listening to the radio and the weather forecast sounded terrible,
SNOW TOMORROW!
That sounds terrible, frozen icy road surface covered with snow!
I think we will be staying away from the roads this weekend!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well wot a day, look at all that water .... I don't like water, water is wet and I don't do wet. Good job OTL doesn't mind puddles. I was up at the crack this morning and it was so cold outside. When my mum went to work she said the cars had thick ice on them. My mum has just been to put the car in the garage and she said she had to scrape the ice off the windscreen, well, that shows just how cold it is out there. Hope your wet tummies didn't get cold. I think I'd send a message back to the car when it says the battery is getting flat, I'd say, tough, it's too cold and too wet to go out. Nice pictures, but I really don't like wet very much. I hope it doesn't snow cos I've only got little legs and I don't fancy getting a cold wet tum. My mum is at work again tomorrow but my boy is off for the weekend, so maybe he could be persuaded to let me snuggle up with him if I promise not to sing to him. Now my mum came home from work with some very sad news this morning, my friend Storm, the big german shepherd dog wot lets me stand underneath him if Buddy the bop is around, has been very ill and the vet can't make him better, so Storm is going to go to sleep this afternoon. I'm going to miss Storm very much cos although he's huge, he's a gentle giant and he looks after his smaller mates. Take care all and stay safe, have a lovely snuggly evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch, the Nippers and Pedro. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
