Hello Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.
You will be pleased to hear that Eric was up and bouncing around this morning and he has now got rid of the effects of the anaesthetic, Old Two Legs told us that after he cleaned the cage out! Anaesthetic Poo is not a pretty sight!
He took his medicine this morning wrapped up in Lactose Free Milk and some Royal Canin powder plus a splosh of Ferretone!
Eric has been practising with his bandaged leg and has now developed a sort of 'Ninety-Nine, Bonk' way of throwing his leg around rather than lift and bend wot is the normal way of walking!
His getting upstairs is a little more laboured but going down stairs is done at his normal tear arse speed!
It's been rather warm today which is great, better than rain but OTL won't let us go onto the beach, mainly cos Holly starts eating the crab shells as well as the cockle shells!
That Holly has got a weird culinary diet!
When we went out at lunchtime OTL walked close to Holly, making sure that she didn't eat the rabbit poo or anything else OTL considered 'suspect'!
The wild flowers are losing the blooms now so all we have to photograph is the green leaves and of course the Two Trees!
The Poo Bin and Bench are under the green stuff!
Going up the path there was this odd ball of a plant. The white bloom and the buds of a sort of daisy. Unless of course the white flower head is really a seed pod bursting and the other heads are seed pods waiting to burst forth?
Strange but true!
We saw white butterflies as well as this one which was rather small, about the size of a thumb nail.
Small but it could be cos it's young or just another size of the same ones that are bigger over the hill!
Half way around the walk, just before we go into the forest, there is a bench next to the molten remains of a rubbish bin. In the sunshine Holly gets underneath in the shade for a rest while I sit on top with OTL looking at the world go by.
Being a sneaky sort, OTL tries to get a photograph of me looking all glam.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but its still good fun waiting for him to pick up the camera hand just as he is going to take the photo, I look behind me and all he gets is a 'Butt Shot'!
OK, today he wins but tomorrow, who knows!
We got the F1 racing today with a new mini race they are calling a 'Sprint' but it's a race whatever you call it!
Hamilton is in pole position but we reckon that he won't have the initial speed on start and that Verstuffin will get off the line first!
See you all tomorrow when we have the race proper.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well we're pleased to hear that Eric is getting around well, I'm sure OTL won't mind giving him a lift up the stairs if he needs it. See I told you that Eric is a very brave chap and wot a good boy taking his medicine. Daisy, whisper to Holly chops wot happens to woofers wot eat things that give them the grumblies ....... they have to wear muzzles when they go out. Smashing pictures today, one of them is super duper. We've had a lot of sun today so we've mostly stayed in the cool. We watched Mrs TM doing her glue flinging and my mum was going to do some this afternoon after a snooze but Alf wasn't a good boy and Alf stopped her getting a snooze and Alf is in the doghouse. My mum is really tired so she said we're all going to bed early tonight and Alf better behave. My mums boss is going to Silverstone tomorrow to watch the racing, my mum asked if he would bring her back a souvenir, she was thinking one of them little cars would be nice. Take care and stay safe all and have a good evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch, my mum, my boy, Alf in the doghouse and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a super photo of Daisy! That's one or the album.
ReplyDeleteBeen reading a few posts and saw that Eric's had a problem. Reading forwards it sounds like he's doing well though.
Hugs, Sarn xxx
