Another warm one!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Another really warm day today. Not sure what the temperature is but it sure has been hot!

The morning walk always leaves us with wet tummies but an hour’s snooze under the curtains dries us off a treat!

Old Two Legs managed to get all the paperwork sorted today, now all he has to do is file them away, dead boring but it will keep him busy tomorrow morning after cleaning the ferret cage!

Yesterday the bandage fell off Erics paw and on inspection this morning we can see the scab forming where the vet did the freezing thingy.

You know, these vets are dead clever you know, well that's what they say they are!

Eric gets some anti-biotic in the morning and a pain killer in the evening all of which seem to be doing him well. He isn't worrying his paw in face he seems not to notice it at all. Unlike me who was nibbling away as soon as we got home, but that was years ago!

OTL had notification that Holly and I are due for worming tablets as well as our yearly Distemper jabs.

The only problem is, the vets are so busy and are so behind with the run of the mill stuff like the jabs that they are running ten weeks behind!

So, we get the worming tablets on Wednesday but have to wait until October before we get the jab!

It's a good job we don't have to wait that long for a wee or a poo!

The wild flowers are doing well and the leaves on the trees are looking great.

Looking over towards Sheerness we saw that the tide was out, so, no swimming today!

Looking back towards Southend on Sea there was a sort of sea misty fuzzy thing due to heat haze, well, that's what Holly says it is!

Well, you can call it a heat haze but it looks more like out of focus to me!

Along the sea front there was a gentle breeze blowing to keep us cool. Mind you, it was enough of a breeze to keep the bugs sheltering in the long grass, so we didn't get any shots of beetles or dragonflies!

Maybe tomorrow we will get lucky!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well I'm pleased to hear Eric is taking his medicine and not bothering his paw. Now tomorrow I'm going to be spending some time at the vets having a snooze while they take off a few more warts, remove the hairs from my ears and give my teef a brush up. My mum is in 2 minds whether she should drop my cone off with me in the morning on account of I will be able to reach 2 of the warts that have had an eviction notice slapped on them ...... hmmmmmm now shall I shan't I take a sniff of the stitches......... I've got to be there quite early so no lay in for me but I expect and I better not be let down, lots of cuddles and oohs and aahhhs about me being such a good boy. I've given my mum a list of jobs to do while I'm away and I expect the grass to be cut It's been very hot here today and last night me and my mum slept downstairs cos it's cooler and I think we'll be sleeping downstairs again tonight. Nice pictures today, nice views but where's the lovely Daisy and Holly chops pictures? I must admit it's been quite peaceful since Alf went home and I'm pleased to have my mum and my boy to myself again. My mums boss was telling her about the race at Silverstone yesterday, he reckoned Hamilton was let off too lightly and it wasn't as good a race as it should have been if he hadn't knocked Mr Verstucken off the track. My mum reckons she'd have landed one on Hamilton if he'd done that to her. I spose they swapped insurance details. Hope OTL isn't too busy with his filing to take you out tomorrow. Take care, stay safe and have a good evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
