Gazumped!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

What a performance we have had. Yesterday we had been helping Old Two Legs research the market for a car that would do what we wanted it for and still appeal to OTL's boy racer attitude on life!

Now that means there would be a lot of car dealers’ stock to look at and compare. So, it was late last night that we agreed on a motor.

By then it was too late to do the blog and we all went to bed, exhausted after all this research!

Well, first thing this morning OTL phones up the dealer and yes, the car was still available and we could come down for a test drive.

It was then that The Missus said she was too busy today and could only make it on Monday, no problem says the salesman, see you on Monday.

Of course, that set-in motion other things like getting an insurance quote and checking on MOT and other stuff.

It was late morning that the salesman telephoned back, 'Er, sorry about this but we have sold the car this morning'!

Rat Holes!

Back to the searching again, but we are leaving that until next week!

Super sun shiny day today and we even took Eric with us down to the sea wall.

That ferret is too well known, there was a family walking along the sea wall and stopped when they saw Eric in OTL's arms, 'Look! It's Eric.' says the man.

We don't remember him!

Mind you, while Eric was saying hello to his fans I sneaked in for a bit of a deep paddle!

For some time, we have noticed that there was a squirrel had found its way to our end of the world. OTL had seen it just outside our village.

Today we saw it in the woods close to the sea wall and it was lucky that he had his camera with him!

Gottcha!

Now, I was just too busy to bother with squirrels’ cos I had found a super sniff in the bushes but Eric spotted it and climbed into OTL's jacket all worried cos he had never seen a squirrel before!

Eric has led a sheltered life you know!

Well, that was one squirrel, it will be interesting to see if there is any more finding their way to our forest!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well I'm sorry to hear you were gazumped but you never know, it might be for the best, it might be that the car looked good, sounded good but it might have broken down on the way home if you'd have bought it. Now I did miss you yesterday. I was going to tell you about the monster wot was in my bedroom on Wednesday night. Me and my mum went up to bed and as soon as we opened the door, there on the wall opposite was a humungous Boris ...... well we could count the toes on its feet. Gordon Blue said my mum, wot a well built chap that is ...... well I barged her out the way and told her to shut the door and come back downstairs....... but I don't think she could hear me. Well there was lots of thumping about upstairs while I was downstairs checking in case it had brought its relatives with it, then my mum called me...... well I really didn't fancy going to bed in the bedroom after that, so I spent most of the night in the hallway upstairs. My mum said she had a job to get the glass over it on account of the size of it and the length of its legs. My boy called me a wimp but I didn't see him come out of his room when my mum was shouting. I wasn't too happy about sleeping in the bedroom last night either so I kept one eye open. My mum came home in a bad mood this morning, seems the person who wanted to do her Monday morning wants her to work this Monday morning so she can have the day off, my mum was really looking forward to having a longer time off between her days this week, so was I looking forward to extra lay ins. Now Monday night my boy is going up to London with some friends to watch the wrestling but he said I can't go, now I could have learned a few tricks but I bet he'll be watching and taking notes so he can try to beat me. I hope Eric has been behaving and not being cheeky to you Daisy. Watch out for them squirrels, they use awful language at times. Me and my mum watched Mrs TM flinging the glue again today, we really enjoy it. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch, my mum and my boy. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
