Hi Woofers!
Us again, Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
What a super day it's been. After the morning walk it has been sunshine all day.
Old Two Legs finished off the front drive, picking all the plants out from between the bricks and scraping the ivy off the walls.
Once that job was done it was the turn of the pond.
The pond is lined with a waterproof lining but for some reason the lining has sort of shrunk a bit and in one place the water sort of leaks out and under the rocks.
Today OTL did his best to block up the holes and pack earth into the holes that were leaking water.
So far there has been a small dribble of water but tomorrow OTL will pack more earth, mixed with grass into the back of the rocks and with a bit of luck, bung up the leaks!
On top of the rocks and the earth packed in together he will put some reeds to help soak up any excess of water.
Needless to say, poor OTL is feeling the strain and is complaining that his muscles are hurting!
Today we took the big car to the paint shop to get some repairs done on the rear bumper. With luck the damage is slight and when it is done, we plan to take the car to the auctioneers and sell it off.
As the caravan has now gone, we don't need a big car so the plan is to get an estate car big enough to go on holiday with the ferrets, TM and OTL and of course me!
OTL reckons to fit a roof box to take clothes and a small pack of craft stuff for TM!
Mind you, what TM calls 'small' and what OTL considers small are two totally different sizes!
We should get the big car back on Wednesday so I'll be riding in the back for possibly the last time!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well that sounds exciting a new jam jar. Now OTL needs to get a trailer for the small pack of crafting goodies ........ Has he got his HGV? Sounds like OTL has been very busy today, perhaps Mrs TM should give him a massage to soothe his aching muscles. We've had quite a nice day today, no getting up at the crack on account of my mum had the day off. I gave her a small list of jobs, cut the grass, do the hoovering, go up the shops, tidy the kitchen, do the washing and ironing, walk the woofers ........ do you know, I cracked the whip and she's done them all. We went for a late walk this afternoon and I stopped outside Brenda's house and she spotted me trying to get to her front door so she came out and told us to come in. When we got in there was Blaze and his mum, now Blaze is only 5 months old but he sure is a big chap. His head is bigger than little Millie so Millie was sitting on Brenda's lap. Now Blaze thought the custard gargler was some sort of rugby ball and he kept barking and growling at him, I got a big sloppy wet tongue on me though. We didn't stay too long on account of my mum getting a bit worried about Blaze wanting to pick Alf up and roll him round the room. Now, my mums boss has asked her if she wants to work Friday, Saturday and every other Sunday and no Mondays anymore, my mum had a think about it and decided that cos she's feeling very tired lately that it sounded like a good idea and anyway my mum don't like Monday mornings cos she reckons most people are grumpy on a Monday morning, so there we go, we can look forward to lay ins Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and every other Sunday, sounds good to me. I do like a lay in. I hope OTL's plan for the leaks works. I think I'm going to celebrate not having to get up early on a Monday morning with a bit of scoff so take care, stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch, Alfie (still very windy) puggle, my mum and my boy. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
