Back to the Long Walk again.

 Hello Woofers.

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Old Two Legs is still in the dog house! I'm not letting him off so easily, I mean, leaving me all day!

This morning I got the seaside walk but missed the sunrise, all I had was this strong sun but at least it was golden!

Mind you, I'll be glad when it gets all red and golden!

He spent the morning messing about with bits of paper and checking the Bank Statement, all rather boring. That was until lunchtime when I reminded him it was walkies time!

We were walking along the sea wall and he kept looking at a gismo he took with him when he went Munro Bagging, it's called a GPS and it told him which way to go, how high and how far he had travelled.

Well today he set it to zero and started walking. Now we thought we had travelled four miles when we tried counting the number of steps, he took but today we got an accurate measurement which involved using the output from seven satellites up in space!

The upshot was in the end we had travelled two point six three miles, there and back!

But it still felt like four miles!

Are we there yet?

When we got to the half way point, that is as far as we go and we turn around, we still stop for a moment or two to look at the power station and also the cranes that off load the containers from the ships.

That looks like a good beach for digging in but I don't suppose Eric or Wendy would fancy the walk all the way from the car!

Next Tuesday Eric has an appointment to see the vet and check up on his tumour. I'm no vet but it doesn't seem to have got any bigger but it also hasn't got any smaller.

Claws crossed it's getting bigger.

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well I'm glad you got your proper walkies today. Smashing picture of you, the others are very nice but as you know I'm very partial to a pretty girl in a photo. I had an early walk and didn't meet any woofers but I met a lady who liked my hoodie and commented on how nice and warm it looked, I offered to give it her but my mum wouldn't let me. I wanted my mum to go in the garden and clear some leaves wot had fallen over night but she reckoned it would take her a couple of hours to clear them all, so I decided the leaves can wait until the weekend seeing as how there's more to come down. I've had a nice lazy day on account of having to get up early for the next 3 days, I need to get my zzzz's in while I can. We're all keeping everything we've got crossed that everything is going in the right direction for Eric the brave next week. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
