Not so many Whizz Bangs this year.

 Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back with you again.

It was a bit chilly last night and I had to get all my soft toys in a pile and snuggle up under them just to stay warm!

It's no good asking if I could use the duvet Old Two Legs and The Missus use cos, they spend all night long fighting over possession!

Normally TM wins and OTL get kicked out of the bed!

Certainly, today it has been not only chilly but windy as well. High tide was at 11:44hr and we got down on the sea wall just a little early, maybe ten minutes before high tide. The wind was blowing from the north'ish so it blew OTL along!

I decided not to go for a swim, it looked just too cold for even a paddle!

No white horses on the waves but they were being blown up the sea wall.

The container ship going up the Thames must have had a strong side wind blowing it against the Kent coast.

Wind on the Starboard Bow Captain!

It was good to get off the sea wall and out of the wind and just over the hill we saw Fred raking up all the brambles into rows ready for the tractor and trailer to scoop it all up.

Doing a great job Fred!

That's a better shot!

Once you got into the trees the wind dropped away and I could get along the pathway and get a good sniff of the sniffs!

You know it's a good few degrees warmer in the forest.

Back home TM was doing another video but forgot to turn on the lights and the colour was horrid!

So, back to the camera again and video number three is soon in the can!

Now, over the last few days I have noticed that there are not so many Whizz Bangs being let off in the street. We found a couple of big boxes of spent Whizz Bangs on the sea wall, by the rubbish bin.

They must have been let off last night but we didn't hear anything going off.

This time of the year used to be hell for Holly Chops 'cos she was very scared of the noise; she would gather us all together and we would have to go to bed for a protective cuddle!

With any luck we won't have any Whizz Bangs this year, mind you, they don't bother me too much, as long as I have OTL cuddling me!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well it's been a very chilly day here as well and very dull. Now the good news, Milly went home late last night and she gave Brenda the cold shoulder, I would have thought she would have been all over her like a rash but seems Milly felt put out at being left. Bit of a cheek really cos she came here and was treated like the queen. I have to say it was nice last night, snuggling up to my mum with no irritating little woofer scratching and nudging trying to get me into a comfy ball to lay in. Me and my mum went into the garden to try to sort the leaves out, my mum bought this hoover blower type thing and it was quite good. My mum finally found a broom wot she liked as well. We heard from Brenda around lunchtime and she's feeling much better. I wouldn't fancy that chaps job raking up all that stuff. Now Daisy, a little tip, when it's cold make sure you get to bed first then you can get the pick of the spot and get under the duvet before OTL and Mrs TM, if you're in the middle, it more or less guarantees you'll have some of the duvet over you. We've been hearing quite a few whizz bangs and it's not even firework night yet. They don't bother me but I still tell them to woof off when I go out for a wee. I remember Holly chops didn't like them at all and it's not fair to woofers wot don't like them, they need to take the whizz and the bang out of them. Well I think I'll go get a snack now, so take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
