Wot Thunderstorm?

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferrret here.

Now then, there we all were, getting warnings of Thunderstorms and Floods going to wash us all away and drown everyone in the south of England.

Old Two Legs had set up the camera on a tripod, made adjustments to the controls, focused it to infinity and set it all to Manual Control, ready for flashes of lightning blasting down from the rain clouds above our house.

What happened?

One sheet lightning out the front of the house, no rain thrashing on the windows and one half of a rainbow!

Disappointed or wot!

We left the camera set up all evening and into the night but nothing happened, not even a rumble of thunder!

This morning we stayed a bit later in bed, I mean, no thunderstorm means we get a good night’s sleep!

We got down on the sea front expecting a small sunrise but even that was nowhere to be seen. Looking out to sea there was thick black cloud on the horizon and above it vapors trails from a couple of jets as they passed over head!

So much for the storm warning!

As this was the last day of the Christmas Holidays, we decided to have a super lazy day. The ferrets stayed in bed snoozing their tails off and OTL and I decided we would join them!

OTL has been listening to an audio book but keeps falling asleep, he has to keep going back to where he falls asleep and replays it again, only to fall asleep again!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well those are very nice pictures, shame there wasn't some nice lightning to capture. We didn't get any storm, just a long heavy rain fall and then nothing. Me and my mum were planning a lay in but somehow we didn't manage to get one, still there's always tomorrow, cos it's my boys day off so he won't be moving about disturbing us. I went for a walk but didn't see any mates, it was quite boring really. Me and my mum took the decorations down and done some dusting and hoovering then I decided I'd have a siesta while my mum popped to the shops. I think she was hoping to see something exciting in the sales but she didn't so she came home with a loaf of bread and some fruit salad. We're going to put our paws up now and then have an early night to make up for missing zzz's this morning. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
