Splosh!

Hi Woofers,

Daisy here!

Well, have we had some fun today. Thinking back to yesterday and Old Two Legs wish to get up a bit earlier so he can photograph the sunrise, I decided to help him out.

It was around three thirty that I decided to wake him up, using the 'Wet Nose' trick!

It didn't work and he ended up getting out of bed around half past six!

Needless to say, the sunrise was well up into the sky and not a bit of red could be seen!

Maybe tomorrow with a bit of luck!

Even going around the corner didn't help either, so in the end we didn't bother!

Not the most inspiring view out to sea!

Back home it was a quick breakfast and then pick up the stuff for the carrier and off we went. First stop was the carrier and then next it was off to Herne Bay again. This time we didn't get stuck in traffic or got rained on and after dropping off the stuff I got to have a walk on the grass. Well, it wasn't real grass, more like prickles that hurt my paws, so I was glad to get back into the car!

On the way back I decided I wanted a wee, so we dropped into a park alongside the river where Holly and I used to enjoy a run.

Now this place is called Horrid Hill and has a path stretching out into the marsh lands and after it has rained there are a number of big puddles. Now, I enjoy walking in the puddles but OTL keeps telling me off for doing so.

So, we started off with me being dragged away from the puddles and after a while I was walking on the concrete edge to the path, with OTL walking ahead of me 😉!

OTL looked over his shoulder and saw me laying down in a very deep, wet, muddy puddle!

I was soaked!

When we got back to the car, OTL got the blanket off my bed, spread it in the back of the car and put up one of those doggy fences so I couldn't get into the front of the car!

OK, I didn’t think it very funny but you know, it was still a great joke against OTL!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy!

  1. Yo Daisy. It's been really warm here today so I sent my mum out to cut the grass, now the hot sun made a lot of it die off but all the rain we had last week made it all sprout again. It took my mum ages but I went out to inspect when she finally finished. I went for an early walk and met Boris the bounce and we discussed the good sniffs around our area. I met 2 yappies who were threatening to tear me to pieces but funnily enough, they were both standing behind their TL's and peering through their legs. Now when I want my mum to get up I walk in front of the light on the landing and it comes on, if that don't wake her I stick my ice cold nose straight in her eyeball, that always does the trick. I like to ride in my cage in the car, it stops me from being jerked off of the back seat when she changes gear or on the odd occasion when she uses the brakes. Did you enjoy that lay down in the puddle, I don't do puddles on account they make me wet and I don't do wet. Sounds like you had a good day though and the photos are smashing. Take care, stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
