The Tree is up!

 Hi Woofers,

Daisy here again.

Yesterday morning we had Old Two Legs scraping the frost off the windscreen and there seemed to be two layers of frost. It looked like a blast of frost had come across the screen then later that night another blast of frost had landed on top of the first layer.

This morning when he was scraping the frost off, you could see that there was only one layer!

Mind you, it was still a thick layer today, but only one!

We didn't take the camera out of the car when we got down to the sea front. the mist was blowing in and we couldn't see any more than twenty feet in front of us!

Another problem was that we had got up late and everyone had been and gone by the time we got down to the sea wall.

As it was getting towards our lunchtime walk, I managed to blag a chicken chew off OTL.

What I did was to jump up against his leg and when he looked at me, I put a well chewed chew down on the carpet by his feet, sat down and looked deep into his eyes.

Now, I bet there was no way any Two Legs couldn't read what I was saying.

I got my chew!

And not long after that I got the lunchtime walk!

We crossed the football field and saw that the Christmas Tree was up and installed on top of the St James church tower.

Funny thing was the scaffold pole fence around the bottom, I mean, is that over kill?

 Safety First!

Out to sea there was a carrier heading into the mist and fog, normally you could see it for miles but today.........whoosh and it's gone!

 Now you see me.........!

Tomorrow it's forecast that we will be looking at a minus 4 degrees when we go for the morning walk, OTL will be standing outside scraping the frost off the car!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy.

  1. Yo Daisy. Well I don't know how many layers of frost we have, mainly on account of our jam jar sleeps in its own little house so my mum doesn't have to scrape it off very often, only if she forgets to put it away wot she don't when there's frost around. It was very cold here again today and I declined a walk, I much prefer to run out into the garden and then run back in as soon as I've been. We had a phone call this evening from Brenda, now Brenda isn't feeling very well so my mum went a picked up a prescription for her and we're hoping Brenda gets better quick and doesn't need to go into hospital, if she does then we'll have a little visitor to stay. Nice picture of the boat in the mist, I wouldn't want to be steering that when you can't see very far ahead. The tree looks good, are they going to put any decorations on it? I'm off for a warm up on the sofa under the furry throw so take care, stay safe and warm all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
