Have you ever tried to change you phone contract?

 Hello Woofers.

Daisy Here!

Today has been cloudy, cold and rainy, but we have a tale to tell!

OTL, like every Two Legs in the world, has a mobile phone and was used for business purposes over the years he has been working for himself, until of late. Working from home everything is now done by email or land line telephone.

Being an astute sort of woofer, he has worked out that he doesn't need the Pay Monthly contract and it will be an advantage if he switched to Pay as you Go.

That is where the problems start!

He gets onto the phone companies web site only to find there is no 'I want to change' button so, after much searching, he finds a phone number to ring. At last, a human voice! 'Please I want to change my contract'

Sorry, we can’t change you over 'cos we can't find your account.

Can't find me? You can soon find me to take my thirty odd pounds each month!

You need to contact out Business Team, we will get them to phone you on Monday.

Monday comes, no call.

Phone telephone company, what you need to do is to get to a Phone Shop and get them to change it over, but here is your VCN number.

Find a shop and call in, 'Can you change this over?'

No, you need to go to a competitor’s shop, take out a Pay as you Go, sim only contract, then transfer your number over using the VCN number.

Six shops up the road is the competition, buy a sim, change it over and after twenty-four hours it all clicks into place.

Now what you have above is an edited version of the telephone calls, live contacts via the keyboard.

You know, OTL says that with all this messing about, it would have been quicker to write a letter and shove it in the post box!

Just don't send the letter to the phone company!

It's exhausting all this technical stuff!

Luv,

Daisy

  1. Yo Daisy. Well I heard you telling OTL you wanted to go walkies at lunchtime today and then I dozed off on the back of the sofa, I didn't even hear OTL when he came and said ello. It's been pretty cold here today, no rain yet but I can sniff it on the way. I went for an early walk on account of my mum going to the blood pressure clinic, now she's got to wee in a bottle tomorrow and go down to the blood taking place to give an armful for testing. My mum isn't overly pleased on account of she's not allowed to have a coffee or brekkie before she goes, now my mum don't do nuffin without a cup of coffee in the morning so tomorrow is going to be interesting. Now my mum knows exactly how OTL feels and she's come to the conclusion that when people don't give you a phone number and they don't have TL's to answer the phone or they get silly, she just cancels her direct debit and they soon find someone to get in touch with her when the dosh dries up. Good luck to OTL and we'll keep our paws crossed that all goes smoothly for him. Now tomorrow I got a busy day planned when my mum gets back from the leech clinic, I'm going off to pick up Millie and we're going to visit Caroline and the puggle at her new house in Stevenage, now I've got my paws crossed that she don't give me and Millie a bath when we call in but neither of us are holding our breaths. I reckon it would be very rude to stuff a visitor in a bath but then again, these TL's are very strange at times. Take care and stay warm and dry all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
