Hi Woofers!
Daisy here!
We had a bit of excitement this morning first thing. There I was searching the horizon, looking for Devo but he must have been in bed!
Going around the corner we spotted a fluttering in the grass. I wanted dive into the grass, just to see what it was but OTL called me to 'Heel' and we both slowly crept near to the movement.
OTL said it was a Kestrel that looked a bit beaten up! It flapped its wings but didn't fly up in the air.
Now OTL has this Nature Thing going that is, 'Don't interfere, let nature take its natural course and if the bird survives, good!'
The Kestrel moved into the undergrowth and we left it to recover.
We went back at lunchtime but there was no sign of him. So, he either got bettter or well enough to fly or some cat had him for lunch!
I don't think that happened cos there were no feathers on the path!
The wind is still blowing the Kebab Sniff away from us!
After all that kerfuffle I spent some time looking for any other birdy or animal that might be hiding in the long grass, no luck!
Not a bird or animal to be found!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy.
Yo Daisy. That was very good of you to not eat that birdy. I went for an early walk and I bumped into a few of my mates, Gizzy, Buddy the bop and Millie. We had a good time discussing the sniffs. I stopped off at Brenda's on the way home to get a drink and a snack cos it was quite warm even though it was early. Me and my mum have had a lazy day today and a nice siesta snuggled up on the sofa. Smashing pictures today. We've had a couple of showers but for the most part it's been sunny and very warm. I'm off to get some scoff so take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
