Hello Woofers!
Daisy here.
We have a wild life pond in our back garden that has been left as a wild life environment. That is, if anything lands in the pond and survives then it has our permission to live in the pond.
One small problem, it's got a leak in the pond lining that means the water level is half of what it should be!
Old Two Legs has promised to re-line the pond when the water level gets low enough for him to wade in and remove the last of the mud at the deepest part.
So, what has happened? The water level dropped to almost low enough to get going, then the rain came, then it went and now the water level is almost more than the level where it starts to leek!
We can't empty it at the moment 'cos there is a load of Tadley Poles swimming around waving their tails about, that means we can't empty the pond until they grow up and leave home!
I go out every morning to check how many Tadley Poles are swimming around but they dive down to the bottom of the pond as I start to count!
Loads of Flutter Byes, too many to count!
When we got to the bench I jumped up and was about to flop down into my 'Resting' position when I spotted a pile of Bird Poo!
I was about to have a roll when OTL whispered to ........'Don't even think about it!
So, I moved to one side and made sure I didn't roll in it!
Back home we settled down to watch the F1 Racing and I made sure I got the best seat in the house!
Last day of the month tomorrow, so there are loads of paper for the accountant 'cos it is also yearend and we got to tell the tax man what we have been doing!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy.
Yo Daisy. Sounds like a big job counting the tadlies, I'm sure you're more than capable though, I bet OTL would be glad of a paw to help him dig out the mud when the level drops again though. We've got lots of shrubs round our little pond and a grill on the top so wild things can't go catching our froggies and eating them, so I can't really get a good look to see if there's anything to count. Smashing pictures of you today, glad you managed to get the best seat for the race. We've all had a lazy day on account of me and my mum working this morning and my boy putting his paws up before he gets to working tomorrow. I wouldn't tell the tax man about anything, I don't reckon on them being very nice people cos they take peoples hard earned money. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
