Another Hot Day

Hi Woofers!

Daisy here.

Well, it has been a real stinker today. I thought yesterday was hot enough but it seems today had beaten it!

We had delivery of some snails today; they are supposed to eat all the algae in the pond. It was only when we did some reading that we find they should only live a couple of years before dying!

We are going to see what happens to this lot and if they last until next year we may get some more, if not, well we will stick 'Pond Snails' into Google and look for a more robust algae eater!

I made the mistake reading the clock this morning and woke OTL up around three thirty!

Of course, once woken up it was difficult to get back to sleep, so I gave his ear another good licking!

By the time six arrived he was well awake, well as awake as he can expect to be at six!

Down on the sea front the sun was up and all misty as well.

If we had got down a half an hour earlier there would have been a super red morning sun!

In the end, we had to make do with an orange vista, tomorrow I will try to get him up earlier and pray to the Gods of the 35mm we get a better shot!

There were a couple of Cocker Spaniel types dancing along the beach but I stayed away from them as they were diving in and out of the water and making a terrible noise!

Back home OTL has been keeping the pond sprinkler going all day. You can hear it tinkling away every time you open the kitchen door!

Now that's OK but every time I hear the water go it makes me want to go for a wee!

Now, paws up, who has been singing the Red Dwarf song?

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.

  1. Yo Daisy, well I didn't need to wake my mum up this morning on account of we didn't really get much in the way of snooze. My boy put his air conditioning on for us before we went to bed which was nice but then after he turned it off, we just go hot again, then there was a couple of noisy cooking fats having a drunken argument, the a noisy fox was shouting out looking for his mates. I did ask my mum to put her head out the window and tell them to shut up but she said she was too tired to move, well, so was I so we just put up with it til they moved on. I was way too tired to go for a walk this morning and it was too hot as well so I spent most of the day trying to catch up on all the snooze I missed. Smashing pictures, it does look a tad foggy. How many of them snails have you got, you better keep a count of them in case something comes in your garden and starts munching on them. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
