I'll be glad of a bit of rain!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy here.

Well, it has been another day when I wish I could find some cool shady spot where I could curl up for a snooze.

I've tried every spot in the garden, hunted around in the house and even thought about sniffing the pond!

I've tried the bedroom and even the bathroom and inside the shower but no success, it's just been too hot!

The weather man is promising some rain but it is all 'up country' but down here in south east England the map is all red!

OTL and I were out early this morning and set off for the beach but stopped on the way to take a shot of the morning sun across the marshes.

Morning has broken, like the first morning!

After getting past the traffic lights, we finally arrived at the sea wall. It was still misty across the estuary but the sky was forecasting another hot day.

The final view across the marshes before driving through the traffic lights to Grain.

Down on the sea front OTL did a little 'fiddly diddly' to produce this shot.

We were so early I didn't see one woofer just a Two Legs running along the sea wall! I ask you, who wants to jog along the sea wall this early in the day!

You know, today it has been cooler in doors than out in the garden!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.

  1. Yo Daisy. Phewwwwww it's been a hottie here as well. Me and my mum didn't get much sleep last night, there was cooking fats fighting and making a racket, the foxes were making a racket, so I decided I had to keep going down and checking my garden to make sure they weren't there. Me and my mum were up extra early for work. We were going to have a siesta when she got home but wot with the noise of the fans, I couldn't get to sleep so if I can't get to sleep then no one else is going to sleep. Brenda and Millie braved the sun and came up this afternoon and we all had a good moan about the heat. Smashing pictures today, shame you didn't see any woofers around but I reckon they thought it was just too warm to go out and probably were trying to have a lay in. How's your pond snail, is it ok, has it moved yet? I'm off for a lay under a fan again so take care, stay safe all and paws crossed for a bit of rain soon. Love, licks and sniffs from little (very tired) Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
