Hello Woofers,
Daisy back again.
We have had some fun this morning, there has been some Pidgeon deaths of late and we have put it down to old age and one of the local bird killing cats.
Today The Missus had to bang on the back door to scare it off. That was only the start!
OTL was thrown out into the garden to check on one Pidgeon that had been attacked and was supposed to hiding among the pile of logs that double as an over winter house for bees and other small insects.
OTL couldn't find the bird, so, he carried on hooking leaves out of the pond.
There was a movement on top of the shed and looking up OTL saw it was that Cooking Fat.
Now, OTL can speak a bit of woofer and just one word of Cat!
His one word is a fighting word and to you Two Legs it sounds like a hissing sound.
Well, with a special net for picking up leaves and fish and stuff like that, OTL crept up to the shed and shoved the net up to the cat, hissed like a Samari Warrior in full charge!
Well, you can picture the scene, OTL goes HSSSSSSSS, Cat takes off like Helli Chopper, four paws sticking out horizontal and a howling like a banshee!
OTL plans to let me have a go if it shows up again!
OTL said we will take the camera out later and see if the clouds have gone.
Clouds still there and wind has blown great piles of leaves into the pond!
Just look at the pile of leaves, I blame the wind for blowing them off the tree!
As well as that, the old Pidgeon was spotted resting in the sunshine at the bottom of the fence. I thought it was rather daft sitting there, so easy for Cooking Fat to get to you there!
We spotted 'Billy No Mates' a bit later picking up the fallen seeds from the bird feeders so it looks like he has escaped again!
By the way, it was The Missus who gave him his name!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy.
Yo Daisy. My mum speaks cooking fat, she knows how to make them fly out the garden as well. The only cooking fat my mum likes is Harry hairball. I go tearing up the garden if I see a cooking fat in my garden, they hear me telling them to woof off and they leg it. I felt sorry for Billy no mates, he looks cold. It's been right chilly here today and it's getting windier as well, me and my mum have done an inspection to make sure there's nothing lose wot could fly away with the wind. My mum reckons if it gets any stronger, she'll have to put a long line on my collar when she lets me out in case it makes me take off. Well, yesterday afternoon my mum didn't feel well and then after we'd all been in bed for a couple of hours, my boy decided he wasn't very well either, so there, I was thinking which one was I going to look after first. Both of them were better this morning so I haven't had to spend the day running between them. I does disturb a chaps snooze though when them TL's aren't well, they do make a fuss, not like us woofers. Remind OTL to check his leaves so he doesn't get rid of any snails wot might be hiding under them. Take care, stay safe and warm all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
