Flowers?

Hello Woofers,

It's me again, Daisy Dog!

Well, good news, the fence man is coming on the third of February to install nine new panels, so that means OTL has got to dig up the ivy plants that are holding the panels up!

Another thing is, we got crocus sprouting and its still January!

OTL planted these back in August, he was following the planting instructions, for a change!

There are some Daffodillies sprouting as well, but they come up each year around February time.

There is a Kerploniker tree thing that has finally died, so it has been pulled from the ground only to be replaced when we find something to go in there.

The mirror has fallen to bits and OTL did it gently 'cos there were supposed to have a nest of froggies holed up for the winter but when we looked there was nothing except a dry depression in the earth.

So, from that we reckon they have found a new nesting place or moved across the garden and taken up residence where the grass snakes live.

They could of course be killed off under the ice in the pond, anything is possible!

We will just have to wait until we see a head poking out of the pond early in the morning.

If all else fails, we will have to get the begging bowl out and go around looking for froggies across the marshes!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy.

  1. Yo Daisy. Well talking of wildlife in the garden, we've still got the pesky squirrels digging holes, a humungous spider still living near the back door waiting to make a dive on the back door to get inside, my mum spotted a mouse the other night near our little pond and apart from that, the local cooking fats are out and about in the front garden. Our froggies all seem to be hidden away for the winter. It's been another very cold day here today so we've mostly been snuggled inside. My boy went for a walk at lunchtime and he's gone out again for a walk this evening so he can burn off enough calories to have a take away tonight wot he's looking forward to. I've had more of those cor jets today, I must admit they are very tasty. Me and my mum have got a snuggly evening planned on the sofa under a nice warm, furry throw. Take care, stay warm and safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
