We meet Darcey!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

We thought it would be a sunny day today but it was misty again when we got to the beach, not the most exciting morning run!

Another Misty Morning
After Holly's run along the Sea Wall, I decided to have a race myself. So, I raced along the beach and it was Old Two Legs that called out, 'Look! There goes a Daring Dashing Daisy Dog'!

A Dashing Daisy!
Both ferrets decided to go of hunting the 'Wet Slimy Things' that hides under the sea weed!

It's over here, I saw it!
Mr Brambles tried to get me to go in for a swim, but it was too cold for an early morning swim, even if your swimming partner is a ferret!

Come on Woofer, lets have a swim!
After getting off the beach, both ferrets continued to go hunting. The only problem they had was they didn't know just what it is they were hunting!

It's over here, I heard it sneeze!
We got back to the car and I woofed OTL to 'Get a Move On' 'cos I knew we had chicken waiting for us on our return and you just can't keep a good dog away from a chicken meal!

Come on OTL, breakfast is waiting!
Lunchtime we were on the hill path when we saw a woofer ahead of us with her Two Legs and they were playing 'Chase the Ball'

As OTL got closer they stopped playing and stood there looking at OTL who did his 'I'm a friend face' and then got greeted by the woofer!

She went up to OTL and had a sniff then OTL tickled her tail and then behind her ears and that was it, she was in love with him in twenty seconds flat.

The Tart!

We discovered that her name was Darcey and she hadn't long moved into the area and was just getting out to meet the woofers.

Darcey!
You know it's strange that OTL knows the names of almost all of the woofers we meet but he never bothers to find out their owners name!

You can see where his interest is!

OTL came across another Dragonfly on the bramble bush and he thinks it is a Chaser but not sure which one 'cos it flew away before he could get any closer to have a good look!

I'm a Chaser and you can't catch me!
Back home OTL was clearing up the last bits of paperwork before our holiday. He didn't get out to clean the inside of the car 'cos his back was still hurting, so that will have to wait until tomorrow!

OK, we are off to see what we can mug!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Washing Day Today!

Greetings Woofers!

The Gang is here, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Sorry we're a bit late but Old Two Legs has been working hard today and we have been helping him.

Well, we have been giving him helpful suggestions on how to do his work and he has been telling us what to do with our suggestions!

Most of his suggestions were physically impossible, we think!

Our walk this morning was all mist and damp and it was fun chasing the rabbits but it wasn't misty enough to hide us from them!

Misty!
There was a Kestrel trying to find some breakfast and OTL tried creeping up on it after it had dived down to the ground hunting mouses and stuff!

Missed, Again!
You can tell just how misty it was, here is the Sun!

Misty shot of The Sun!
Back home OTL was trying to get out to wash the caravan, so it looks all clean and shiny for the holiday but one of his customers sent him a big order, so that put paid to the caravan this morning!

Lunchtime he had finished the work bit, just in time to take us out again!

It was not so misty but still didn't get any swimming done!

Instead, Holly decided to run flat out along the Sea Wall and came flying past OTL and me at speeds approaching Mach 9 3/4!

Is it a Bird, Is it a Plane, No, It's Super Dog!
OTL tried to get another Common Hawker in his view finder but as he got close the Dragonfly flew off!

Getting ready to go!
OTL sat down on the bench and Holly, being full of fun a frolic, jumped up onto his lap and went....

Booooo!
OTL was taking some video with his new Gizzmo Phone but so far he hasn't worked out how to send it to the laptop so we can put it on this blog.

Still, if all else fails, he could try reading the instructions!

This afternoon he was out with the bucket and managed to wash not only the caravan but the car as well!

We expect that tomorrow morning he won't be able to get out of bed because his back will have seized up!

That means Holly and I will have to give him a lick behind his ear, just to make it all better!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Monday Funday!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Well, today has been a good day for winding up your sister!

We started off this morning on the beach, the ferrets were messing about on the waters edge, Mr Brambles even threatened to go for a swim in the rock pool!

Can I? Just One little swim?
Old Two Legs said that Brambles would get a Soggy Bottom if he played in the water, so Mr B decided that he should stick to digging holes instead!

This a Hole lot of fun!
Now, you know how much OTL is into sun rises and sunsets? Well, he keeps taking pictures of Sheerness and sometimes he makes it look totally potty by using Photoshop to change the colours. So, today, Holly challenged him to take a picture with no Photoshop mucking about, except to crop to size!

Well, he took the challenge and this is the result!

Sheerness and Isle of Sheppy, straight out of the camera!
Back home Holly and I were fighting over a chew we had been given. Holly had one chew and ate it until there was only a little bit left. Then she left it in OTL's bedroom.

Miss Snowflake found the chew and stole it!

It is now hidden in the ferret maze inside a cardboard box. Holly, wasn't too worried 'cos she hunted around and found my untouched chew!

Miss Snowflake came back into the bedroom and then found the Teeth Cleaning Chew we hadn't started on yet.

So she pinched it and it is now hidden in the back of the ferret cage!

All that means I am left with no chew and a Holly Dog with a silly grin on her face!

What could I do?

The only thing I could do was to tell OTL what had happened and try to get another chew out of the 'Treat Draw'!

After a bit of 'Miscommunication' OTL finally got the message and I was the proud owner of a new chew!

By then I had decided I wasn't going to eat it but I didn't want Miss Holly Dog to pinch it, so I put it under OTL's chair in the office and gave him a shove on the back of the chair to let him know it was there.

Now OTL isn't the quickest Two Legs but after a bit he found where I had hidden it and then he put it up on his desk where I could see it and when I'm next in the mood for a nibble, he can get it down for me!

Am I sneaky or Wot?

Lunchtime we met up with young Dave the Westie who always says hello to us then heads for OTL to get a stroke and a Tickle of The Tail!

Yo Girls!
This afternoon it was a bit warm so Holly and I were looking for cool shadows and we headed for the benches to wait for OTL to catch up!

Shift over Holly Dog I want a share of that shadow!
I fancied a swim but all there was left after the tide had gone out was the mud, Holly tried to get me to go for a Splodge Around in the mud, but I'm not that silly!

You should have had a little paddle in the mud!
This afternoon OTL has been working on the wedding photos and now they are down on a DVD ready to be sent.

Tomorrow OTL plans to wash the caravan, all ready for the holiday! Holly and I will be inside watching him!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

A Lazy Sunday with OTL!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Well, after yesterdays fun and games, today we decided to take it easy, well, Old Two Legs and us woofers that is. The Missus was off to her Master Class again!

Down on the beach Miss Snowflake had a wander along the rock pools but this time didn't fall in any of them!

To swim or not to swim, that is the question!
Mr Brambles stayed well up the beach and away from the water!

When we got back, OTL cleaned out the ferret cage and we all had a game of 'Chase' around the house!

Mr Brambles was the first to give up and retired to bed for his morning snooze.

Miss Snowflake was the last to get to bed, Holly and I had both had both retired to OTL's bed long ago 'cos we didn't want to get chased by Snowflake with her sharp teeth!

OTL cooked our chicken and we got it all warm and greasy and with some of the chicken broth poured over the chicken!

Yum Yum!

Of course, after that it was off to bed for a snooze before our lunch time walk.

Strangely enough the beach was almost empty today, very few Two Legs and Holly was a bit put out 'cos there was no one to mug for a sarnie!

OTL did another one of his 'Funny Fotos' and we have called it ...........

Me, Her and Him!
OTL did a Lazy Bit by sitting down to watch The Hobbit on the TV, well, it keeps him quiet!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Busy Busy Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

This is a busy day for Old Two Legs, he has been rushing about like a Blue Tailed Fly today.

You see, one of the grand children got married today and The Missus couldn't go to the church because she had booked a Master Class on these Brusho Paint Inky Things and it had been booked for at least a year, so she couldn't get out of it!

I mean, what is more important?

Miss Snowflake had the pleasure of saying hello to everyone at the Master Class and Mr Brambles even got a cuddle from June!

June has soft hands!
He said that she had lovely warm and soft hands which made a change from Old Two Legs bony fingers!

Miss Holly Dog went around the room trying to mug a bit of cake but she was out of luck, but those cakes did look good!

Brusho Paints AND Cakes!
Down on the beach Miss Snowflake kept chasing us along the beach, seems she wanted to get home for breakfast!

Come on, shift your tails!
OTL was showing Mr Nick the different things you could do with the settings on his digital camera and a little touch or two in Photoshop!

Mr Nick looking all manly!
It was just as well 'cos they then went off to the church to see the wedding and put into practise all he had learnt  this morning!

I now pronounce you............Married and that was F5.6 at ISO 64000!

Now OTL and TM are off to the evening celebrations!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr 'Cuddles' Brambles!

Fun on the Sea Wall!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again.

No Poo'y stories today!

Today has been quiet, I mean, loads of snoozing after getting a big full tummy and OTL working, but not snoozing!

This morning the temperature was a little lower when we went for our walk and the clouds were a bit darker than normal, autumn is on it's way!

Autumn Morning.
We are all getting excited 'cos we only have just one week left before we head off on holiday to middle of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

Old Two Legs reckons there will be loads of long walks for both us and the ferrets!

As we have never been there before we are all looking forward to the holiday!

Mind you, it's going to be fun 'cos there is no mobile phone signals and no Wi-Fi on site!

Bet you OTL will find some Wi-Fi somewhere, some how!

Lunchtime we were back down the beach and although the tide was coming in there was not enough water to get your paws wet, so Holly and I spent time chasing each other up and down the Sea Wall!

Going to get you this time!
We were both tearing around like a couple of puppies!

Let's get OTL!
I kept winding Holly up by inviting her to chase me then running away as soon as she moved!

Can't catch me!
OTL and Holly were sitting on the bench and even with the advantage of jumping off the bench she still couldn't catch me!

There was one animal that I couldn't catch and that was the Common Darter OTL spotted sitting on it's perch high in the bramble bush.

OTL was trying to get closer to get a good picture but the brambles kept on getting stuck on his trousers!

Common Darter who stayed high in the brambles!.
So, back home The Missus was playing about with some new card designs and judging by the amount of paper in the bin, she was not having a good day!

Well, I suppose it happens to all the geniuses at some time or other!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

The Trials of Holly Dog!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

What a day we have had!

It all started this morning with Holly Dog. Now, Holly has had a 'Funny Tummy' over the last couple of days and has taken to eating grass as a sort of 'Doggy Self Medication', as we do. The result is that the grass helps 'Bind' and also acts as a purging agent.

With me so far?

OK, now this morning, on our way to the beach, both ferrets were out of the bag, having a stroll and a wee on the grass path.

Both ferrets were on their leads and scurrying about in different directions while OTL tries to keep them in order, as normal!

Holly, decided that she would make use of the slow pace and have a poo, in the middle of the path.

She's like that, if she has to go then she goes. Tail up, squat and get rid of it, OTL will sort it out, no problem!

Well, today she decided she had to go but couldn't finish it 'cos the grass not only was binding her but it was hanging onto her fury backside. No problem, Old Two Legs always keeps a watch out and once retrieving a Poo Bag from his pocket, he removes the hanging bit and off we all go again.

Not today.

There she was, tail up, with OTL trying hard to get a single plastic Poo Bag out of his pocket while the Poo Bag was desperately trying to stay with the pack of bags in his pocket, and at the same time telling Holly to stay where she is so he can administer to her needs.

No problem, we've been here before and managed to sort it!

Holly hung about waiting for the offending lump to be removed while she balanced on her rear legs and holding onto the ground with her front paws!

Today there was an additional element to the performance.

Two Ferrets who claim never to have this sort of problem wanted to see what was going on!

Being inquisitive ferrets they decided to investigate why Holly was in 'Squat Mode' with tail in the air and OTL inspecting her rear end.

Holly saw Snowflake approach her ear and give a sniff and at the same time Mr Brambles decided that Holly's nose was in the right position for him to give her a lick on it!

Holly was not amused!

She grumbled, then she growled and finally she woofed at the ferrets to 'Ferret Off' before she took a woofer sized lump out of their tails!

All this was going on while OTL was continually pulling the ferrets away from Holly's head, where she keeps her teeth and at the same time  he was pulling away at Holly's other end to remove said lump!

In the end OTL managed to get everyone sorted and separated and heading off down the path while he tied up the poo bag with one hand!

He's clever like that!

Mr Brambles is still having problems with the step, Holly said that she would help by giving his tail a nip but we decided that was just naughty!

If I give a shove with my tail, I might just do it!
This morning OTL had to go out to deliver stuff while Holly and I stayed at home eating Chicken!

It was super and afterwards we enjoyed a super snooze until OTL came back!

Then it was off to the Sea Wall again to find the tide right in but no chance of a swim, it was too rough!

There's no way I'm going in that!
Holly and I spotted a couple of fishermen in the same place as yesterday, different fishermen, but same place!

I thought it would be fun to see what was in their lunch box but when I got there, no lunch, just worms!

Yuk! That is disgusting!
Still, they hadn't caught anything, so maybe the worms managed to frighten all the fish away!

I'm off to see what OTL has for dinner tonight, maybe we will be able to mug him for some nibbles, before he starts on the shortbread!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly ( Clean Butt), Miss Snowflake and Mr (Gissa Kiss) Brambles !

A Sunny Day in North Kent

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

It's been a sunny day down here in North Kent. Old Two Legs has put his new boots away so the ferrets can't play with them!

He is such a spoil sport!

Our morning run down on the beach was interesting 'cos both ferrets decided to investigate what Holly and I found interesting to sniff!

Every time I stopped, up would trot a ferret and ask, 'Wot you sniffin now?'

Wot you sniffin?
It was bad enough having Miss Snowflake keep asking what I was doing but when Mr Brambles arrived next to me I was about to tell him to 'Sniff Off' when he asked........

Can you wag your tail like this?
 As I told him.........only when I'm swimming!

Miss Snowflake spent some time hunting around in the grass and managed to disturb a nest of Carder Bees!

She was lucky she didn't get stung!

I don't know, but it's buzzing!
Mr Brambles was having the same trouble as yesterday, getting up the step!

Someone give me a shove up!
OTL has been busy today doing some 'Manufacturing' so we took the chance to have a seriously long snooze!

Lunchtime we were back down the beach but although the tide was almost in, it was just too rough to go in for a swim!

Too rough for me!
As I couldn't have a swim, I decided to go and see if I can mug the fishermen! Well, for a change, they hadn't finished their lunch and they were noshing some meat pies!

I did my 'Gissa Bit Mister' and one of them broke off a bit and offered it to me but I could see that it was just the crust, no meat!

Gissa bit of the meaty bit not the crust!
I didn't eat the crust and Holly bounded up and grabbed the crust but spat it out and asked where the meat was!

OTL was happy, we were walking past the Rabbit Bushes, when he spotted a Dragonfly having a snooze in the sun.

The first picture has been 'Processed' using Photoshop but the second is 'Straight out the camera'

Common Hawker
I must say, it makes a change to have the eyes down to the tip of the abdomen in focus!

Still looks good!
So, we are now expecting to be out tomorrow delivering the stuff OTL has been making today and we may even stop off at the Doggy Shop, claws crossed!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

First Fly this year!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It has been a super day today, the sun shone and the breeze blew and we went down The Forest again!

The morning walk was all 'Gentle' and easy going. The Ferrets stayed in the ferret bag all the way down to the beach and then after a quick wee, they both tried to get back in the bag again!

Old Two Legs wasn't having any of that and turfed them both out again!

Holly and I enjoyed a sit down on the beach and just sort of enjoyed the view across the water. Holly said that she could sit there all day if OTL would allow it!

I could stay here all day, except for meal times!
As we headed back towards the car, Mr Brambles was making a fuss about getting up the steps, he said they were getting bigger every day!

Either my legs are wearing out or this step is getting bigger!
Back home to a good feast of chicken and then a snooze, as you do!

Lunchtime I gave OTL's chair the old 'Shove in The Back' to indicate that it was walkies time and finally we were off, in the big car!

We stopped off at one of his customers and picked up some gear, had a chat and then went down The Forest!

We haven't been there for a little while so we were catching up on all the sniffs!

Sniff No. 1 in The Forest!
It was noticeable that Autumn is on its way, we noticed that the leaves had started to fall off the big trees and cover the paths.

A Leafy Glade?
While Holly and I were Sniffing the Sniffs, OTL was rummaging around in the undergrowth and found a Fly Agaric, the first one this year!

It looked in good condition and although it wasn't very big, it did have the white spots and a nice waxy cap!
First this year!
OTL was then in 'Hunting Mode' but couldn't find any more fungi anywhere!

The Heeland Coo's' were in the forest but as much as we looked, we didn't see them at all. Holly said that they may have gone away for a few days holiday before the autumn sets in!

We carried on with the sniffs and kept an eye out for any squirrels that may be lurking about but we didn't see any either, maybe they had gone on holiday with the Heeland Coo's!

Last sniff of the walk before the car park!
When we got home OTL got in trouble for not taking off his boots and leaving bits of mud on the carpet.

He is always in trouble!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Boot Inspection!

Hi Woofers!

The gang's back, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Now, remember what I told you about the boots yesterday?

How they needed an 'Inspection' from the ferrets?

Well, first of all we went for a walk down on the Sea Wall and Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles had a good ferret around on the beach, and in the wet grass!

I sniff a Slimy!
Mr Brambles was full of mischief and spent some time chasing Holly and creeping up on me!

Boo!
Back home Holly and I headed off to see what was on the menu while the ferrets headed off to have some fun with Old Two Legs new boots!

Miss Snowflake got into 'Test Mode' and was trying the soles with her super sharp teeth!

Mmmmm! Tasty!
Once she had finished with the soles she was inside sniffing and snuffling all the way down to the very end!

I love the new sniff!
Mr Brambles was having his breakfast while Miss Snowflake was doing her investigating but as soon as he had finished feeding his face he was out and into the boots!

There's no turning room in here!
Being a bit larger than Snowflake he couldn't get all the way down to the bottom and had to reverse out but he did say the sniff was great inside.

It is going to be a pity that OTL will have to put his big paws in there and make it all smelly!

Mr Brambles was asking if he could have a little chew of the toe caps but OTL said that if he saw any teeth marks, he would unscrew both of their tails and use them as a boot brush!

Yeah, Right, First he's got to catch them!

Mmmm Tasty!
We all headed off for a snooze and OTL went back to work again, well, it is Monday!

Lunchtime we were out delivering stuff and ended up at the Riverside Park, great stuff!

The tide was in and Holly Dog was too hot!

You know what? She even followed me into the water to cool her paws off! Of course, I went splashing in and had a small swim but she wouldn't go in any further than her knees!

No! No Further!
What was funny to see was Holly. sitting on the grass worrying on how she was going to dry her paws!

Come on! Did you bring a towel? My Paws are wet!
OTL had a towel back in the car but to be honest, I reckon Holly's paws were dry by the time we got back! Still, it didn't stop her asking OTL to give her a rub down with the towel, just in case there were any wet patches!

She can be such a wimp sometimes!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
