It's all go here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy back again!

We love Sundays, we all get up late, except The Missus who gets up when it is still dark!

The ferrets get left in the dark so they can wake up when the sun gets up, a sort of 'natural' way for a ferret to wake up!

However, after a rampage around Old Two Legs office and an early breakfast, the ferrets reckon they can really enjoy another snooze while OTL drives them to the beach!

When we get there what did they say?

Just a few minutes more!
Not that they got a snooze 'cos OTL got them out and off they went on the morning run!

April wasn't too impressed and after a wee and a poo decided that the best place to be  is inside the bag! Even a game of 'Bulldozers' was cut short when April decided that digging in wet sand made her paws cold!

OK, that is the exercise, now, can we get back in the bag?
April got back in the bag and only stuck her nose out. That was until we got to the bench on the hill when OTL says that they have to walk the rest of the way back to the car.

It's at this point both ferrets recognised the sniffs and ran almost all the way back to the car!

Back home the poo pot saga is on going! Freddy has just one poo pot with cat litter in it to soak up the sniff. Next to his poo pot is another tray but with high sides and he can't get over the side, so, he goes into the one with litter in and does his business there! Success!

The Page 3 Girls are another story. The poo pot is first of all left with no litter in it, until, one of them stops kicking it around the cage and does a wee. Then OTL puts just a handful of litter in to soak up the fluid. Then over night they both use the poo pot. One of the ferrets still kicks the tray out of the corner and does a little pile behind the tray!

I told you those ferrets were sneaky!

Lunchtime came and Freddy was invited out for a run and today he was a star!

On the beach he was playing at 'Bulldozers' and had a great time digging up the sand!

This is how its done!
Then he walked, almost all the way along the sea wall section of the walk. OTL picked him up for a cuddle as a reward for walking along the concrete section. When we got to the grass path he walked all the way back to the car park!

OK, I'm coming!

That was some walk for Freddy!

He is getting into this walking lark big time!

Now, yesterday we had a visit from Mike and Sue on their way to visiting the local Slough Fort. When they were in the U.S.A. Sue brought a 'Racoon Toy' for Holly and I. Holly thought it looked like a ferret but I had to point out the rings on its tail! See, ferrets don't have tails like that!

Well, I think it is fantastic and have spent hours playing with it 'cos it has a 'Squeeky' thingy in the end of its tail and on in its head!

It is so funny!

I've called it Roger the Raccoon!

Me and Roger having a rest!
OTL got a surprise yesterday, TM was doing a 'Master Class' and Auntie Karen made a birthday card for OTL using the method TM was teaching! Looks dead Posh!

OTL has asked me to say 'Thank You' to all who have wished him a Happy Birthday and thanks for the cards and the bottles of Malt Whisky!

Well, actually he didn't get any whisky but he did get a ton of Short Bread!

We got a nibble of his Plawns and a good helping of Plawn Clackers as well, in fact, we all pigged out and spent most of the evening burping!

OTL has set up the studio ready for TM to do another Yoo Toob film, so we expect to see some results in a couple of days, fingers crossed!

Bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy The Fit Ferret!

Sorry!

Hi Woofers!

We are still here! Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy Boy!

It was all The Missus's fault! You see she wanted to get a Yoo Toob film made on 'A Master Board Technique' but being TM she went gassing on and on and the film ended up being twenty minutes long! Poor Old Two Legs was having loads of trouble editing it and on a couple of occasions, when he 'Saved' the epic, it got all lost and we haven't seen it since!

So, he worked on the film, didn't switch off the computer, didn't allow Daisy Dog onto the Laptop to do her blog and ended banging head against the wall!

In the end, OTL downloaded a 'Trial' Video Editing Program and went to town last night. Only problem was, after getting rid of all the pauses, hiccoughs, silly jokes and 'ummmmms and errrs' we got it down to fifteen minutes, but it looked and sounded like rubbish!

OTL deleted the whole lot and TM is going to do another one next week!

So, finally I have got back on the Laptop!

What has been going on down on the beach? Well Freddy Boy has been improving on his jog along the Sea Wall but he still reckons he is not built for jogging!

I'm just not designed for jogging!
The only way OTL gets him to jog is for OTL to go to the end of the extending lead, crouch down and when Freddy runs up thinking he is going to get a lift, OTL gets up and moves a bit further down the Sea Wall. Freddy falls for it every time and although it takes ages for him to cover the distance, he does so in the end and gets rewarded with a carry and a cuddle, until the grass path comes into view!
Then it's back to walking again, but this time he does get some sniffs to play with!

This morning we had some fun. Remember that Happy Birthday Song we sang for Archie Babe? Well, we saved it up and sang it to OTL this morning! Then we kicked him out of bed and went back to sleep!

Because of that, we were out early this morning and caught the sunrise over Sheerness. Now, I've nothing against Sheerness but it's not the sort of place you would go for a holiday, but, it does do some lovely sunrises!

Sunrise over Sheerness.
Remember OTL has been having trouble with the ferrets and their use, or lack of use of the poo pots?

Seems that he may have made some progress. Ferrets will normally poo in one place as a sort of 'Marker' or like an Otter, a spraint. Now no animal will poo in the bedding where it sleeps, so OTL had filled the 'Sleeping Level' with sleeping stuff, like Cuddle Cups and Corner beds and blankets and cushions, in fact there is nowhere for a ferret to see the floor!

This means that the ferrets, May and April, go down to the bottom floor where there are two poo pots but one has a towel in it folded to be a bed!

That leaves one poo pot in the corner, with just a sprinkle of cat litter to soak up the sniff.

Result is that so far, the poo pot is being used although there are occasions when the poo pot gets kicked out of the way and a wee or a poo is deposited in the corner but mostly it is the poo pot that is getting used!

Now we don't think this is the end of the saga 'cos these ferrets are sneaky little things but it is going to be fun seeing how they will react in the coming days!

We left April at home this morning when we went out 'cos it was terribly cold and she doesn't do cold and looks so unhappy when OTL gets her out of the bag! So, just for her, it was a warm bed in the cage and it was all hers, until May came back!

Lunchtime we took Freddy out for a walk 'cos he needs the exercise but even he said it was too cold to be fun!

When does Summer arrive?
Today Freddy walked even further along the Sea Wall, with a little help from OTL, but once he got onto the Grass Path, he walked almost all the way back to the car!

OTL had to pick him up for a few steps 'cos there were three 'Sausage Dogs' running around and we hadn't met them before!

After they had gone Freddy was back down on the ground and running. He was really enjoying this run! I suppose having the sun on his back and the bushes blocking the wind made it all enjoyable!

We ran along with him and we even had OTL breaking into a trot!

When we got back to the car Freddy was straight into the water bowl for a slurp!

I need this!
Back home we met Mike & Sue who were off for a visit to the local Slough Fort which is running an 'Open Day' to see all the repairs that have been done to this old gun emplacement.

Next it was off to the village hall to pick up TM who has suggested that we get a Chinese Takeaway this evening so if our luck is in we may get a King Plawn and some Plawn Clackers!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy Boy.

Just One of Those Days!

Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy here!

First of all, sorry the blog is late today, blame Old Two Legs for that, he has been slaving away over the film in the 'Cutting Room' trying to stitch together the bits for The Missus. It has been a long wait for me to get hold of the computer!

Here we are, back on the blog again!

Now, another 'First Thing'!

Good Morning Tabor Tooth, just getting up as we are going to bed!

This morning we were getting up just as she was going to bed!

Thinking about that makes my head wobble!

Down on the beach it was cold, not frosty, just wind blowing cold and none of us wanted to hang about!

The beach had been washed clean and it looked very pretty in the morning sun!

We like clean beaches!
Mind you, Old Two Legs was faced with a bit of a rebellion, both May and April decided it was warmer back in the bag and both mugged OTL for the bag!

There was no way he could refuse, mind you, it did help when both ferrets threatened to bite his butt if they weren't allowed back into the warm!

Open the bag, OR Else!
Miss May jumped out as soon as she got to the grass path but April stayed inside and refused to come out. Now that was OK but half way home in the car she did a poo in the carry cage and messed up all the bedding, which didn't please May or OTL who had to clean it all up!

Back home the Page 3 Girls had a change around in their cage and were out rampaging around the house for ages waiting for OTL to finish and as soon as he put the last shelf up they were straight into bed and asleep before the cage door was closed!

Because of this, Freddy didn't get his rampage around the house, so, we were out a bit earlier for the midday walk. It was still sunny but a bit chilly!

Freddy investigated the beach again but couldn't spend too long on the sand 'cos the tide was coming in and he didn't want to get his paws wet!

OK, very interesting but can we get a bit higher up the beach?
Freddy was in good form today and walked or waddled a bit further than yesterday and even had a jog along the Sea Wall!

Back home OTL was instructed to 'Get his Tail in Gear' and get the film sorted, so most of the afternoon was spent on the computer.

As we got close to the car park, we were all trotting along when we bumped into a pair of Two Legs with a Little Two Legs. OTL called to us to get a move on and used our names, so it was, 'Daisy, come on', Holly, come on, here!' and 'Freddy! Come on boy'!

This seemed to amuse the TL, 'Hey!' he says to his mini TL 'Look, it's Freddy the Ferret!'

Now, you know what we are going to call him now!

In his effort to make the cage 'Interesting' OTL has placed the Poo Pots in the Page 3 Girls cage, just where they have been poo'ing on the cage floor.

So, both April and May decided that they would now have a change and poo in the other corner and the Poo Pot would be a great place to................

A New Use for the Poo Pot!

So, as we head off to bed, the Page 3 Girls have poo'd all over the floor and so far left the poo pots as clean as when OTL placed them in the corner at lunch time!

I can see there is going to be more fun with these Poo Pots before the game is over!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy the Ferret!

The Missus is being a Diva again!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy Boy with some more tales!

This weather is really getting all mixed up, there we were, safe in bed, snuggled up to Old Two Legs when The Missus comes crashing through the bedroom door, switches all the lights on and starts to clean the carpet with her jet powered vacuum cleaner!

I mean, what does a Woofer have to do to get a morning snooze?

That was it, no more snoozes, we all had to get up and head for the beach for some exercise!

Miss April didn't really fancy doing exercise, she says that she gets all the exercise she needs going from one sleeping bag to the next and on top of that she doesn't want to get chilblains walking on cold wet sand!

My paws are getting too cold on this sand!
It didn't matter that the sun was bright over Sheerness, it was still too cold and the wind didn't help either! I thought OTL said Summer is on it's way!

Sunny but too cold!
Up on the Grass Path both May and April decided that walking was just too much and convinced OTL to let them back in the bag until the last bit of the walk down to the car park!

Back home to some chicken for breakfast while OTL was cage cleaning!

TM reminded OTL that he had promised to do another film for TM to put on Yoo Tube so Freddy got an early walk and we went with him!

It's sand, but not much of it!
He was back onto the beach looking for the sand and today he found some but not enough to make a sand castle!

We reckon he is going to have loads of fun when the summer arrives, warm sunny days and all of us playing on the beach, digging holes, playing at bulldozers and building sand castles!

He managed a good walk along the Sea Wall and even got into a trot as well!

Along the Grass Path he had to be encouraged to keep up with us. I did slow down a bit, just so he didn't think he was being left behind!

Not so fast girls, I'm getting tired!
When we got home it was all mayhem going on as the lights and camera were set up and TM was practising her lines!

It took some time to get it all right and of course, there she was showing off 'cos her bottle of champers wasn't cold enough and the Director didn't know how to direct and, and, and...........well, what a Diva!

Holly and I were sitting on the sofa watching each 'Take' and having a laugh at TM flouncing around looking for 'Inspiration Dahalings'!

Finally it was all 'In the Can' and OTL now has to edit it on the computer, but he won't do that until tomorrow.

He is too exhausted at the moment!

So, you will have to wait until tomorrow at least before you can see today's fun!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy (My Paws are Sore0) Boy!

Another Splashing Day!

Yo Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy Boy!

I think that the rain has finally found us down in the South East. We have managed to escape the flooding and other nasties but the last few days it has been horrid!

Another Wet Rainy Day!
It was rotten this morning when we went out, May came out of the bag for a quick wee and then dived back, next April came out for one of the fastest poo's I've ever seen and was back in the bag like a streak of lightening!

Holly and I got all our business done and was miles ahead of Old Two Legs who was getting wet and soggy!

Back home we all got a rub down with the towel and OTL had to change most of his clothes again!

Lunch time wasn't too bad. The wind and rain had slowed a little and Freddy Boy even had a play on the beach!

What he couldn't understand was why there was no sand, it was here the last time he was on the beach 'cos he had dug a couple of hole but there was no way he was getting through all these stones!

OK, who has got the sand?
I was trying to explain but he just didn't grasp the concept of sand being small, filtering down between the rocks. He said that the stones were heavier than sand so the stones should sink and the sand float to the top!

After a while I gave up 'cos I found a ball and played a game of 'Chase' with Holly who was throwing the ball into the air!

I gotta Ball!
Freddy said that he had found a sniff that could be Weasel 'cos it had a funny edge to the sniff.

We reckon he is going to be invaluable in the Spring and Summer!

 Weasel, definitely Weasel!
Now what was new was Freddy actually broke into a run! A real, paws going like the clappers, tail waggling run!

What's more, there were no loud bangs, Hairyplanes or Woofers to scare him.

He just ran!

It didn't last too long but as a reward, OTL gave him a carry to the top of the hill then let him wobble all the way back to the car!

OTL spent the afternoon clearing up the office and washing the blinds. Well The Missus washed them for him and now they have shrunk about an inch, it's good to see she can to to the blinds what she does to his socks and shirts!

OTL is going to plan his next trip soon. We won't be allowed to go with him 'cos he and cousin Alun are planning to get up to the Orkneys to photograph Stone Circles using Black and White camera setups!

Well, what ever turns you on!

I suppose it will all be Yellow Filters and Low ISO's!

OTL says that it should be fun 'cos there is a Whisky Distillery on Orkney, Highland Park!

It's OK OTL going off for a few days but the ferrets will not be happy 'cos TM will not risk taking them out for a walk, so we reckon they will have the run of the house for half the day! Mornings for the Page 3 Girls and the afternoon for Freddy!

Looks like Holly and I will spend all day crashed out on the bed!

Now, how long will it take OTL to get up to Orkney?

Out with the maps!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy.

A Quiet Day.

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy Boy!

First of all, many thanks for the kind words of support at our loss of Wilma. The Missus Face Book is full of kind thoughts and messages as is our blog page. We didn't know so many Two Legs followed our blog!

It is such a shame that Wilma had to leave us like that, especially as she had such a bright future with us.

We have all been a bit subdued today and OTL hasn't said much at all.

This morning we were late in getting up but as the sun had only just got over the horizon, everyone else in the house was still asleep! Still, it makes a change to get up late especially on a Sunday!

Now, we must apologise to our great mate Archie Babe, with everything that was going on we forgot to sing him 'Happy Birthday'! I mean, all of four years old now he is and still as daft as the day we met him!

So.......pause for deep breath................on the count of seven......One.....Nine..............Go!

Happy Birthday to Yooo!
Loads of Sniffs and a good Poo!
Happy Birthday Dear Archie Babe
Happy Birthday to YOOOOOOOOO!

Holly says she wishes she was four again 'cos she wouldn't be on a diet then and was able to mug Old Two Legs for Twiglets and Shortbread!

I did point out that it was food like that wot caused her to be on a diet in the first place!

When we got down the Sea Front, there was some splashes of rain, so we didn't hang about and even May was galloping along!

Miss April said that she had a wee before coming out and would stay in the bag thank you!

Yucky Start to the day!
Lunch time was better, the sun had come out and although there was a bit of a breeze it was still damp underfoot. Freddy said he was getting cold paws on the Sea Wall and could he try walking on that wobbly stuff over there?

Holly pointed out that was the Sea and it was wet, cold, nasty, and very dangerous!

Well, it looks soft and wobbly!
Freddy was either trying his best to blag a lift from OTL or trying to keep up with Holly and me. He said he was a bit nervous in case that woofer came back. Holly and I said we would keep an eye open and warn him and OTL if we saw anything.

Come on, I've already sniffed that one!
There was a terrible noise overhead which made Freddy very nervous but OTL said it was a 'Hairy Plane' and it was no danger to us, unless it fell out of the sky!

Freddy wasn't too sure and kept a eye on it until it went to hide in the clouds!

Do they fall out of the sky often?
As soon as it went he was chasing after us for protection against falling Hairy Planes!

Hang about, I can't keep up!
We all enjoyed a snooze this afternoon, including OTL who managed half an hour before Holly woke him up woofing at the birds in the back garden!

You know TM is already asking if OTL will get a mate for Freddy 'cos Freddy needs company and although OTL is cuddly, he can't squeeze into the 'Cuddle Cup' that Freddy sleeps in!

You need a little ferret for that!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Freddy.

Wilma has gone.

Hello Woofers,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Fred here.

Wot a sad night is was last night.

At seven last night OTL went to the vets to pick up Wilma and get some medicine to stop the pain. The vet said we had to keep her quiet and make sure she has plenty to drink. There was no obvious wounds, just bruises where the dogs teeth had grabbed her around her abdomen.

She was obviously in shock.

We took her home and OTL made up a cage for her with bedding, food and water and a poo try.

OTL gave her a drink using a syringe and tucked her up into her bedding.

Around nine last night OTL went to check on her and found her laying half in and half out of the poo tray. He picked her up and cradled her in his arm and offered her another slurp of water which she took, but not much.

OTL carried on cuddling her and she licked his arm, snuggled her head down and gently passed away.

OTL carried on cuddling her for a while until he was sure she had passed over.

We think that it was the shock that finally got her as we couldn't see any damage on the x-rays.

Wilma was a super ferret, full of fun, full of life. She took to the harness and lead and enjoyed her walks on the beach and the grass paths. She didn't walk, she bounded, and when she ran out of lead, she dashed back to encourage her brother Freddy to 'Get a Move On'.

After the walk along the sea front and a rampage around the house she would rattle the cage door until OTL opened it up and gave her a slurp of Ferretone and a bit of chicken strip.

She wasn't with us for more than seven weeks but in that time she enjoyed her life in our house and was settling down to being one of our family.

We buried her this morning in a flower pot in the garden and put her next to Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles so they can keep her company and of course, we can always stop and tell them all what has been going on in the house and what sort of trouble we have been getting in to!

Every time OTL has passed Snowflake and Brambles he has always said hello and updated them on what is going on!

Now he will stay a bit longer to have a chat with Wilma.

Wilma.
Back tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April and Fred

Wilma gets a Visit to the Vets and we get Short Back and Sides, again!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma back again!

Well, this morning it was a bit chilly when we went out for our walk. The ferrets stayed inside the bag until they got down to the beach. May was off digging holes while April spent time trying to get back into the bag again!

Old Two Legs spent some time photographing the sun rise behind Sheerness and he picked the best to upload onto the BBC Weather Watchers thingy!

Sun Up.
Holly and I were off sniffing the sniffs and looking for anything new!

We met up with Barney II who was back on his lead again 'cos he had been a naughty woofer and had run off after a sniff!

Hey Girls! I'm in trouble, again, good innit?
Mind you, Barney II thinks it great fun getting into trouble 'cos he is such a fun loving woofer!

After our walk we didn't got straight home, instead it was off to The Parlour for a wash and a haircut.

I really don't know why we have to have all our fur cut off when it is still cold! I mean, we are quite happy with it's length and sniff as it is!

This time you are going in first!
It was a terrible experience, as normal, but we came out at two thirty sniffing like a Tarts Handbag!

Mind you, it's not as scary as Wilma got when she was out with OTL and Freddy for a walk. As they were finishing the walk, from out of nowhere came one of those Weimaraner woofers who grabbed Wilma across her back. She screamed and OTL lunged at the dog who then dropped Wilma but then went in for another grab.

It was lucky that Wilma was on her lead 'cos the dog backed away from OTL but when it felt the lead pull, it dropped Wilma who was then scooped up by OTL. Unfortunately Wilma didn't know who it was that scooped her up and sank her teeth into OTL's hand, twice.

Loads of blood!

OTL's blood, not Wilma's!

Back at the car OTL examined Wilma and confirmed that there were no puncture marks  and the only blood was OTL's!

Wilma was very quiet and just lay in OTL's arm. She didn't jump when OTL tried prodding and poking to see if there was any sore bits and she moved around a little on all four paws, so no immediate signs of damaged legs.

A phone call got us an appointment with the vet as soon as OTL could get there and off they all went.

The vet inspected Wilma and agreed that there were no holes in Wilma that shouldn't be there but did suggest we start off with some pain killers and an x-ray to determine if there was any damage inside, like ruptured diaphragm or internal puncture of any of the organs.

So OTL left her with the vet and after an hour or so picked us up and returned to the vet for Wilma's results.

OTL had a look at the x-ray and the vet explained what OTL was looking at! There were a couple of bruises from the dogs teeth but no visible internal injuries, all the organs were in the correct place, her tummy was full of food!

There were no bones broken and all in all she looked in good condition. The vet suggested that OTL leave Wilma with them so they can monitor her progress and OTL is to pick her up at seven tonight.

So, after all that, Wilma is OK, sore, bruised and in shock, but OK. She has got to have her own cage for a couple of days, just to stop Fred from bumping into her and to let her have a quiet sleep!

The only one with any permanent injury is OTL's wallet!

We headed for home and our chicken dinner but the first thing we needed was a drink and the second was a wee!

So, into the garden we went!

We also needed to roll in something smelly but OTL wouldn't allow that!

So ends another exciting day, OTL is preparing the cage and bedding for Wilma, Freddy Boy is sleeping on his own tonight and I've now got a tummy full of chicken and rice!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred and a bruised Wilma.

Wet and Yucky!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma here!

Wot a terrible day! Old Two Legs was up early but that means I get the whole King Size Bed all to myself!

That also means we have to go out early for our morning walk!

Luckily for us it was raining, so OTL delayed our departure in time for a break in the weather so we didn't get too wet!

Mind you, he didn't take his camera out of the car and he even took his 'Weather Photo' from inside the car!

It's Raining!
Coupled with that, he forgot the ferret lead so the ferrets had to 'Borrow' our lead. That didn't please April at all and she was showing off big time! So May had to have the dog lead on her harness, that didn't please her either!

It wasn't long before she was back in the bag as well!

They both got out of the bag but only for a quick wee and a poo before climbing up OTL's leg to get back into the warm!

Holly and I had our rain coats on but we were glad when we got back into the car!

The morning was spent snoozing on the bed and as lunchtime arrived it started to rain again!

It was going to be one of those days!

OTL had to drop some stuff off to his accountant so we decided to go for a walk first, then off to drop the stuff off.

Wilma was busting to get out of her cage so we ended up going a bit earlier than normal!

OTL had looked at the rain radar and reckoned that he had spotted a 'Dryish Window', just how wrong can you be?

We got wet!

The ferrets weren't happy and neither was Holly, I was a bit put out as well!

So, back home to a rub down with the towel and creep off into our sleeping cushions for a snooze before dinner.

Holly reckons it is Doggy Scoff again, she is such a cheerful puppy sometimes!

You know, OTL has been giving the ferrets some of our Teeth Cleaning Chews and you know what? Freddy Boy eats a whole Half a Chew all on his own!

We reckon he has been taking lessons from Nipper!

See you tomorrow when we are expecting better weather!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.

No Wind Today!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma here!

It was funny this morning 'cos when we went out all the steam coming from the chimneys was going straight up into the sky. No wind, so all the sniffs were 'Local'!

Both ferrets were sniffing around the beach looking for Nargles and in the end decided that Holly was telling porkies about Nargles being under the sand, so the pair of them spent some time digging holes in the sand and calling out for the Nargles to 'Come on Out'!

No Nargles here!
Old Two Legs was getting lost looking at the clouds and taking photo's of the tide coming in!

In coming tide!
We met up with Poppy out for her walk and heard that little Beau has got a dose of Kennel Cough!

We were kept well away 'cos we don't know if Poppy has caught any germs! OTL says it is not something we want to get and even he stood a bit further away and was cuddling the ferrets!

We hope Beau gets better soon and the horrid germs go away!

We had to take the Worming Tablets this morning. Now, normally both Holly and I keep spitting the nasty things out of our mouth but this time OTL got all sneaky.

First of all he wouldn't let us eat our chicken first. He offered me a lick of the Ferretone bottle, which I just love. Then he puts the tablet in the flip cap and soaks the tablet with Ferretone oil. In I go and after a few slurps both Ferretone and Worming Tablet had gone!

Holly was offered some Ferretone but turned her nose up, Yuk! Oh dear! How was OTL going to get this down her?

Sneaky OTL got a Chicken Strip out of the packet and broke it up into small pieces, then put the Worming Tablet in amongst the bits and gentle rubbed the Chicken Strip all over the tablet!

Do you see where he was going?

Well, it worked! Holly, being unfed today started on the chicken and mistook the tablet for a hard bit of chicken and woofed it down!

Sneaky OTL!

Down on the beach Fred was hunting for Nargles but found nothing he could claim to be a Nargle, Dog Poo but no Nargles!

Nothing but Sniff of Woofer here!
Even under the sea weed all he found was little crawly things that are normally found under the sea weed!

Do these taste OK?
In the end Freddy decided that he wouldn't try nibbling a Crawly Thing and instead he would leave them to the birds!

Then, for a bit of fun, he decided to do some digging, just in case there was any sign of a Nargle!

Wilma said that she was not going to do any digging but would rather sit in OTL's arms waiting for Freddy to finish!

I could build a Nargle Trap here!
Freddy had been digging for a while before OTL suggested we carry on walking. As Freddy had warmed up, he managed to walk and waddle almost all the way back to the car! He was doing well today but after getting home he crashed out in his bed and hasn't woken since!

Holly says he will sleep well tonight!

OTL has got curry tonight, so that has put paid to us mugging but Holly is sort of getting into this slimming lark. You see, she was weighed and found to be 10.8 kilos which the vet said it was 'Too Much' for a woofer her size and Holly should loose two kilos!

Yesterday when we got weighed, Holly was 9.8 kilos! A whole kilo she has lost!

All that is down to 'No Nibbles' 'No Mugging' and 'Carrot Treats'!

So, now Holly can jump into the back of the car instead of waiting for OTL to lift her up!

I can see her getting a bit faster when we have a game of 'Chase'!

Maybe I should loose a couple of grammes myself!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Fred & Wilma.
