Saturday and Marley gets a sniff of Ferret!

Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

What sort of day have you had? Here it has been all fun and games!

It started off with two Wormy Men singing songs as they dug! I mean, it's bad enough having to listen to Old Two Legs singing in the shower without having to listen to a Wormy Man singing about 'Sixteen Tons'!

'You dig sixteen tons and what do you get? Soggy Boots and a Worm that's Wet!'
OTL says it's an old song, it must be very old 'cos we haven't hear of it before!

While the Wormy Man was singing his boots off we spotted Max and Oscar coming down the Sea Wall with that big Bozo of a woofer called Marley!

Hey! Look! Max & Oscar!
Marley was all over OTL like a mud bath and spent most of the time rolling around on his back while getting his tummy tickled! He did stop for a while and was asking about Miss May, like, 'what does she taste like?'

Do you have them for breakfast?
OTL said that she tastes like a ferret and offered to give him a sniff. We warned him that it wasn't the best sniff he could have but Marley insisted that he should try!

OTL lifted May up and poked her tail at Marley's nose.

Oh! Yeeerk!
'I don't think I'll want to do that again' he said and started coughing and sneezing, at the same time!

Max thought it was great fun and asked.........................

Go On, Go On, Do it again!
Marley said he would rather eat sea weed! Holly said it would taste better and there was plenty on the beach!

Sea Weed Sarnie anyone?
Lunchtime we were back and were dodging in and out of the rain. OTL spent time studying the rain radar and said there was an hours 'Window'.

I do love it when he gets all Technical!

Now you can tell it has been raining 'cos the rain drops are still on the Wild Sweat Pea blooms.

Pretty!
The tide was coming in fast and as OTL had the ferret bag with him, he dug out the rubber ball and I went chasing it in the water while doing the 'Doggy Paddle'!

Just look at that swimming style!
Mind you, after I had finished I had to wait until I got back to the car before getting a good rub down with the towel. Freddy said that I could have a roll in the grass to get the drips off me.

What a Drippy Dog!
Back home OTL sat down to a late lunch and watched some of the Olympic Games while I cuddled up on his lap to get the last damp bits off me!

Now what is all this about Archie Babe being kicked out of the bedroom, that is just not on!

I reckon I would have sat outside the door and Hoooooowled my tail off!

Mind you when I reckon we have been locked in the bedroom too long after the ferrets have been cleaned out, I jump up and give the door a good bashing with my paws, that gets OTL's attention!

So, no bathroom floor today, OTL got time off 'cos of his eye, which is completely blood red but is not so painful.

I can see that there will be a day next week when he will get 'Instructions'!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Wot a Friday!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Ever have one of those days that start out wrong and then it just gets worse?

Well, it has been one of those days today!

Let me tell you all about it!

Early this morning, about ten past five, Old Two Legs woke up with a small nose bleed, nothing to worry about but as he was waking he felt that someone had poked him in his left eye. So, after sorting out his nose, which is nowhere as good looking as mine, he turned his attention to his eye.

Looking in the mirror he saw that half of his eye was blood red and getting worse!

So in his best 'South London Accent' he says to The Missus.....'ere, take a butchers and me eyeball.

TM took one look and was dialling 111 on the telephone to get some 'Technical Advice'.

After a load of questions regarding his current health it was decided that he wasn't suffering a heart attack or a stroke and nor was he suicidal. So, the ambulance was called back to base and The Samaritans went back to manning the phones!

The advice was, get to a doctor and get your blood pressure tested!

He took himself off to the doctor who did all the checks and decided that all was OK and the eye will return to normal over the next couple of weeks!

Regarding the nose bleed, well, an appointment is to be made to see a specialist and get his nose cauterised. Seems he had this problem some ten years ago!

As OTL didn't feel like driving, TM took us around the Farm before pinching the car to go out!

Holly and I were in the bedroom when this man comes banging at our door! Holly and I give him the 'Woofers Welcome' but it seems he was expected. OTL had arranged for him to come and mend a couple of things in the caravan and get it all sorted before we go away on holiday.

Well, the man was working very hard and finished around midday and has made an appointment to come back next week to fit some other bits he found had failed.

So, the bill for repairs is just a bit more than OTL had planned! Now, he wasn't actually weeping blood but he didn't look too happy!

Lunchtime came and he gathered up Fred and Wendy, got Holly and I into the car and off we went to the beach. We only got as far as the car park 'cos as we started to walk out of the car park the heavens opened up and the rain came down, in bucket loads!

That was it, everyone back in the car and we will come back later!

It was later that Fred and Wendy decided to stay in bed so it was just Holly, me and OTL who hit the beach!

I found a tennis ball on the beach and OTL tossed it into the sea, which was just past High Tide, but I didn't care and splashed straight in to get the ball back!

Come here ball!
Now, this 'ere tennis ball was jut a little too big to go into my mouth and every time I tried ti grab it, it would bounce off my teeth and move further and further out to sea!

Hang on, this is getting deep!
OTL called out to me to leave the ball but I wanted to get it back 'cos it was the only ball we had!

The other ball was in the ferret bag and the ferrets were at home snoozing!

OTL said that at one point he was considering taking his boots and jacket off ready to swim out to rescue me!

Finally I got the ball into my mouth and headed back to the beach which was a bit further away than normal!

By the time I got back we had been joined by Polly, Boo and Bryn.

Polly was all for helping me chase the ball into the water but decided to let me fetch it 'cos her legs were too small for deep swimming!

Come on girl, you can do it!
Of course, Polly was all over OTL 'cos she fancies him rotten and loves having her tummy tickled by OTL!

Come on, gissa tickle!
That Polly can be a right tart, just like Holly!

They both stayed on the shore watching me play 'Chase' with the ball and young Boo was dead impressed!

Why does she stick her tail up in the air?
Bryn is a bit like Holly, we don't do wet! You can see by the look on her face that water is best left to the fishes!

You can keep that lot, I'm staying dry!
Back home again OTL went back to shredding and managed to fill up six big bags of shredded paper for the dustbin men to take. Next week they will be able to take the next six!

Tomorrow OTL says he will try to have a go at the bathroom floor, that should be fun!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Another day of paper shredding for OTL.

Hi Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Well, it has been warm and sunny down here with a balmy breeze just to keep the nose cool!

We do like this weather, it sort of make everything just right!

Even little April was having fun on the beach checking all the sniffs!

I'm sure it's a Nargle Trail!
One thing I like is that no matter what is happening, us woofers have always got an eye on April to make sure she is OK.

May is always running back to give her a sisterly cuddle and when we are walking along the top path she always walks right next to her as if she is holding her up!

OK Sis, I'm still here!
Lunchtime we left off the paper shredding 'cos the machine was getting too hot!

Old Two Legs has got loads of files to shred, I reckon he will still be at it next week!

The Dustbin Man will be in for a shock when he sees the number of bags there will be outside the house, all filled with shredded paper!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again and we timed it just right, the tide was in and right up the top of the beach!

It was a bit rougher than yesterday and the waves were crashing onto the beach. I couldn't make up my mind about going in for a dip. One moment I thought, 'Yes' then the next wave came crashing in and I thought 'No'!

Maybe or Maybe Not, that is the question!
Fearless Freddy wandered down to the waters edge to get a better look at the waves and then after one got a bit too close said the I was 'On My Own' and scuttled back to OTL!

I'm not going any where near that lot!
I then got all big and brave and tried a quick paddle but the waves came crashing in and tossed me back onto the beach!

Maybe Not!
I could hear Holly Chops laughing her tail off and turned to look.

Of all the Bozo Woofers you take the biscuit!
That was it, back to the car and home for a snooze!

See you tomorrow!

OTL is getting a Chinese Meal tonight so we should be in for some serious muggings!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Fearless Freddy saves the Day!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

It has been another super sunny day, there was a slight breeze, just enough to keep your nose cool!

This morning we met up with young Dave who we hadn't seen for a little while. He was well chuffed to see Old Two Legs again and as a reward OTL gave his tail a tickle which Dave just loves!

Super to see you OTL!
While Dave was getting his tail tickled Holly Dog came bounding down the hill to see Dave 'cos she hadn't seen him for ages!

Yo! Dave, long time no sniff!
Back home OTL has been clearing out some old paperwork and shredding it in the machine.

Trouble with OTL is that he has so much paper to shred that the machine keeps overheating!

Lunchtime we managed to time it just right, when we got to the beach the tide was right the way in and up the top of the beach. The only problem was that there was too much sea weed sloshing about and it looked really Yucky!

She hasn't gone in there has she?
I was straight in but I must admit the waves were a bit rough! As much as I went into the water the harder it got and I was even chased out of the water a couple of times!

Look, the water is chasing her out again!
OTL was throwing the rubber ball for me but he was keeping it close to the shore, even so, it was still a bit rough and a couple of times I got water up my nose!

The ferrets were walking along the shore, just on the edge of the water as it came crashing up the beach, Freddy just loves a wet tummy in this warm weather!

I like wet sniffs!
I was sneezing my tail off and decided to leave the ball in the water, OTL said I should go and get it from the sea but I just couldn't stop sneezing!

Freddy said he would go and get it for me and waddled off down to the waters edge and after the ball!

Don't worry Daisy Dog, I'll get it for you!
Freddy looked dead impressive as he headed towards the ball!

He got out to the ball, grabbed it and headed back towards OTL!

OK, I'll give it to OTL
He decided that OTL should get it 'cos I was still sneezing and anyway OTL would dry it, squeeze the water out and put it back into the bag!

Here you are OTL, all safe and soggy!
Holly was still sitting on the Sea Wall and reckons that Freddy should get my Teeth Cleaning Chew as a reward!
Give that Ferret a treat!
Well, after all that excitement we headed back home and enjoyed a snooze while OTL carried on overheating the shredder!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and 'Fearless' Freddy de Ferret.

Holly has a Paddle!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and not forgetting Freddy de Ferret back here with you!

Well, what a fun day today, mind you, the Page 3 Girls are not in a good mood!

You see, Old Two Legs had the accountant here this morning so that means The Missus has to take us for a walk. She says that walking the woofers is OK by her but she wasn't too happy about taking the ferrets in case they ran off!

We got our walk along the beach but May and April had to stay at home.

May was not best pleased and has been showing off all day! She has been rattling the cage door every time OTL goes near her and poor little April has been hiding in her bed all day!

Lunchtime with the accountant gone OTL took Fred and Wendy out together with Holly and I.

It was just as well 'cos the tide was going out when we got to the beach but there was just enough water there to get my tummy wet!

Just made it in time!
As normal, Holly Chops turned her nose up at the idea of splashing about in the water!

OTL had brought the rubber ball and he threw it into the water so I could play 'Fetch'!

This was brilliant!

I was in and out of the water chasing the ball and having a great time!

Come on OTL, Do it Again!
Now, Holly doesn't 'Do' water and she stays well away but she does like chasing the ball, if only just to get it away from me!

OTL threw the ball, I chased after it. OTL threw the ball again and I chased after it again!

Then OTL threw the ball and Holly Chops forgot about the water and tried to chase it, until she remembered the water!

If you want it, come and get it!
I will admit, I spent some time teasing Holly by running close to her on the way out to the ball and also on the way back!

But always just out of reach!

Come on Porky Puppy, chase me!
Fred and Wendy thought it was great fun to see Holly getting wound up 'cos she couldn't have the ball!

Mind you, they had a great time digging in the wet sand so they could take advantage of the wet sand to cool their paws!

The deeper you go the wetter it gets!
That was all great and when we got back to the car there was a cool bowl of water waiting for us!

OTL is playing with the DVD player trying to get the 3D to work but for some reason it just ain't happening for him!

Dinner is on it's way so we are off now, see you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

We Love Mondays!

Hi Woofers!

Yep! It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

You know most of the Two Legs we know have a thing about Mondays, the beginning of the working week but not for us!

We love Mondays!

You see we get go down to the seaside and there is no problems about parking the car, there are just one or two TL's wandering about and there are our Woofer mates off the lead as well!

Down on the sand Holly and I dug some holes then had a good roll in them, until that little bundle of fighting fury decided to take over the hole just for her to have a roll!

A Tailor Made hole for a Fighting Ferret!
Miss April said that May was just showing off and anyway it was better in the bag!

Stop showing off Sneaky Knickers!
Back home it was a lazy morning, OTL had some stuff to get down to the carrier and he had to put some more petrol in the car.

We decided to let him go off on his own to do all that 'cos we didn't fancy sitting in a hot car waiting for the petrol tank to be filled!

When he came back we were straight out again and down the beach. I was hoping that the tide would be in but when we got there the tide was well on it's way out and all there was to see was wet mud!

Freddy didn't mind 'cos he is into rock climbing and had a great time ferreting around the rock wall!

Look! No Crampons!
Miss Wendy had a little paddle in the mud and dragged the lead through the sand as well making it look a right mess!

Don't worry, it will dry and fall off by the time we get back to the car!
Freddy reckons that the walk at lunchtime has helped him get his body in trim!

When he first arrived he was a bit of a Pudding and his tummy spent more time on the floor than his paws!

Now look at him, he still has a bit of a tummy but that is a good thing for a Ferret Hob!

Do I look good or wot?
One of the good things is that when the ferrets run on the concrete surface it grinds down their claws to the correct size. Of course, Miss April's claws are a little long 'cos she spends so much time in the ferret bag but Old Two Legs has been cutting claws for the ferrets since Miss Snowflake arrived. It's wonderful what a cap full of Ferretone will do help settle a ferret for nail clipping!

We hear that OTL has got 'Bangers and Mash' tonight so Holly and I are getting ready for some mugging!

OTL still hasn't done the bathroom floor yet, he has been given a small rest before getting his ear bent again!

Tomorrow we got visitors but I think that Wednesday is Flooring Day!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

A Lazy Sunday on the beach.

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

Well, I don't know what it is like where you are but here it has been a super day, loads of sunshine and a few more medals at the Olympics!

Miss April decided to get out of the ferret bag and have a little dig in the sand! She said it made a change to get some sand in her whiskers and her paws!

Out of my way, the sand is calling me!
Miss May joined in as well and the pair of them were soon ploughing up the beach with their noses!

What we need is a JCB Digger!
There was a little fracas this morning when Old Two Legs was cleaning the cages. He had done May and Aprils cage and had put them back but he forgot to close the bottom door.

He then let out Fred and Wendy and they dashed off as they normally do. OTL went downstairs but was called back by a large amount of crashing and screaming!

He got back up to the office in a couple of bounds and found that May was in battle with Wendy who had decided to investigate Mays cage.

Both ferrets were locked together and getting into the Ferret Death Roll and also soaking wet where they had fallen or got thrown into the water bowl!

OTL separated them but suffered a bite from May who tried a parting nip on Wendy but ended up sinking her fangs into OTL's thumb!

A lesson learnt for OTL, make sure the doors are shut and locked!

No real harm done and the only one to shed blood was OTL!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again but it was so crowded with visitors that OTL spent all the time watching out for loose woofers!

Of course, there were loads of Two Legs who wanted to look at the ferrets and tickle them and hold them and finally, have their photo taken holding a ferret!

It was good to get the occasional five minutes to ourselves!

OK, that lot can clear off and let me have a walk!
Holly decided that as it was the ferrets the TL's wanted to see, us woofers were being left out on the attention front. So, Holly volunteered to act as 'Security Guard' and would woof off any one who came close!

Step back there, Step back!
As we headed up the grass path Holly took point and kept away the visitors while I acted as 'Backup' just in case of any trouble!

OK, the way ahead is clear, keep up!
It has been rather warm so when we got back to the car both ferrets almost jumped into the water bowl!

Oooo! We needed this!
Although they had a good drink, the fact they are smaller than us they didn't drink all the water and there was enough left for us!

OTL has been told he has 'Steak and Chips' tonight.....................sounds good to us!

See you tomorrow, we are off for a bit of serious mugging!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Vet Results and another hot day!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

You will be pleased to hear that the vet was impressed with April yesterday. Although she has lost weight, which is down to her condition and the fact it is Summertime when ferrets tend to loose weight. However, the vet was almost surprised she was still with us! He put it down to good care and the medicine.

The fact she has lasted so long means that she could go on for a while longer, which to us is all good news!

Miss May went with April to hold her paw and give her some confidence and she got inspected by the vet as well!

Now May has got a couple of scabs on her back where April and her play fight and April has grabbed May around the back of the neck.

The vet thought that it was some sort of insect setting up home and on checking, relieved May of two scabs!

It was nothing but a 'War Wound' and we found one on April as well!

Old Two Legs knew they were there and normally leaves them to drop off naturally but I supose the vet was looking to earn some more money for a 'Minor Operation!

So, we got another stash of medicine which will keep April going for another five months!

Down on the beach this morning May had fun charging up and down the shore line and dipping her paws in the water!

I see the sea but it can't catch me!
It was beginning to get warm and Holly decided to have a rest on the beach. Well, that was until May decided to sneak up on her and grab her tail!

Just one more step and POW!
The whole game was spoilt 'cos I started to shout that I had seen a monster. The pair of them jumped up to get a better look and Holly said that if the monster got me, not to worry 'cos she would eat my dinner!

Yeah! It's chicken today...........Now, where is the Monster?
Of course, I was just joking and it was really a lump of sea weed floating on the surface!

Anyway, there was no way I was going to let Holly Chops have my dinner!

Look! It's a Weedy Monster!
Just to finish it all off, Old Two Legs took a picture of me swimming with the Fairies!

Me and the Sparkly People!
Wendy and Fred came out at lunchtime and had fun diving in and out of the shady bits of grass all the way back to the car!

Too many Two Legs today, you can tell it's the weekend!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

It's been Hot Today!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

It has been a hot day today down here in North Kent! In fact it was a trifle warm last night and Holly and I headed off downstairs to sleep on the sofa!

I was glad that the tide was on it's way in 'cos as soon as I got to the beach, I was straight in for a super cool splash about!

I should get an Olympic Medal for this!
Miss May was hell bent on digging a deep hole 'cos she reckons that it would be cooler down the bottom of a wet damp hole.

Yeah, I know but it's a 'Ferret Thing'!

I should get a medal for hole digging!
Old Two Legs has been 'Processing' orders this morning so we didn't see to much of him until lunchtime when he dived off in the car to take the parcels down the carrier, without us!

A little while later he came back and tried to tell us that it was too hot in the car and we wouldn't have liked it!

I bet he hasn't tried driving along with his nose out of the window catching the sniffs!

Down on the beach we met up with a visitor who was hunting all the sniffs. He tried to get us to tell him where all the good ones were but as Holly says, 'You gotta be a member of The Gang to get that information'!

If we told you that the we would have to bury you in the sand!
Tomorrow The Missus is off to her Master Class and OTL has been instructed on installing the new floor! So, I can see that we will be snoozing the day away, except for when we are out chasing sniffs!

OTL is just getting ready to take Miss April down the vet for an inspection and some more medicine and he is already sobbing as he is cuddling his credit card!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!
