Trev's gotta Sister!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here again!

You know it is getting very noticeable that the days are getting shorter. It is dark when we get up and the sunrise is still visible when we get down to the beach!

Sunrise is getting more colourful now!
Did you know the tomorrow is the September equinox here in North Kent? That means the day light and the night time are exactly the same! After that it is all down hill until the Spring!

Miss May enjoyed her run on the beach chasing the rubber ball!

I let her get the ball a couple of times but in the end my long legs proved to be faster than her short ones!

Back home we were having a look around the garden, checking up on the sniffs and looking for anything new.

Holly noticed it first, a small nose and a couple of small eyes poking out from under a Lilly Pad.

Another Frog!

It certainly wasn't Trevor 'cos he is a bit bigger and darker skin colour.

So now we have two frogs, OTL says that if they were from the frog spawn then they would be brother and sister but if one was from the live for we introduce then we could be looking at some baby frogs next year!

Claws crossed!

Down on the beach at lunchtime, Old Two Legs had brought my solid rubber ball so Holly and I had great fun charging up and down the beach with the ball.

I started to dig a hole in which to put the ball and the further I got down into the sand the more the sides would fall into the hole covering the ball!

OK, where is is now?
After a while Holly and I needed a breather and that gave Fred and Wendy a chance to dive in and start throwing sand about.

Will you get off my shoulders!
They had a good rummage around and although there was traces of Ball Sniff, there was no sign of it!

We can sniff it but can't find it!
After ferreting around looking for the ball the ferrets gave up and allowed Holly and me back into the hole!

Well you put it in here!
In the end we had to give up and admit the ball was gone!

Back in the car the ferrets were straight into the water bowl! They made such a noise slurping the water down!

Do you think we could have a swim in here?
Back home the ferrets were absolutely whacked! They went back into the cage, had a nibble and slurp and headed for their beds!

I don't expect that we will hear from them until tomorrow morning!

We are now off to see what OTL has lined up for dinner and more important, can we have a bit!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Trevor is Back!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Hey! Guess wot?

We spotted Trevor in the pond!

There he was, with his head poking out of the weed and trying to be very still!

'Yo Trev' we said and asked him wot he was doing. 'Hunting Insects' he says which means he is getting his dinner!

Soosh! Food is close!
We left him to his hunting and headed off to the beach where May and I had a game of 'Chase The Ball' and I won 'cos I'm bigger and faster than May!

Come on, share the ball!
Holly didn't join in, she was too busy watching the world go by!

That all looks too much like hard work!
Back home we settled down to a snooze while Old Two Legs was packing up stuff that had to be taken to the carriers for shipping.

The Missus went off as well to a craft store that was having a sale, so that means she is spending all her pocket money again!

OTL came back and we were off to the beach again. Freddy was half asleep and kept blagging a lift while Miss Wendy had a run up and down the beach!

OK, now for a hole!
While we were playing, OTL spotted a ship being nudged towards the Medway. It was a Liquid Natural Gas transporter. It was going very slowly but with all that gas on board we didn't want any accidents!

Holly wanted to know if everyone on board were 'Crafters' 'cos with all that gas on board that should keep them going for a week or two!

Full of Crafters?
Back home we found TM had returned and it looks like she was loaded up with goodies!

Miss May was rattling on her cage door so after putting Fred and Wendy to bed, May came out and went for a rampage around the office!

It wasn't long before she climbed back into the cage and was soon asleep again!

We are taking it turns to keep an eye open to see if we can spot Trevor!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

More fun and games!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again..........................................................
Freddy de Ferret, Holly, OTL, Wendy and Me!
There we go, a different introduction to our blog!

The picture came from Amanda the 'Artistic Glue Slapper!'

Do we do look good or what!

Remarkably, it was rather warm down on the beach and Old Two Legs didn't even put on his fleece!

Miss May was in a playful mood and started off digging a trench!

Nothing like a bit of Trench Building to start the day off!
Wot she didn't realise was Oscar sitting on top of the Sea Wall watching her!

At this rate it will take her all day!
I wandered over to see what she was doing but all she wanted was my rubber ball! I mean, OTL gave me the ball and now she wants to bury it in the sand!

Giss da Ball or else!
Well, there was no way she was going to take it off me!

Then she asked how I would dig the hole and well, you know me, anything to help out a Woofer!

I dropped the ball and started to dig when in she comes and pinches the ball!

It's no good being a Ferret if you can't be sneaky!
Lunchtime we went out delivering stuff and then headed off to the beach again. It was still warm and Freddy Boy decided he wanted to have some time 'Resting' on the beach. Now that would normally be OK but today the tide was coming in a quite a rate and if Freddy stayed on the beach he would be in danger of being swept away!

Just a five minute snooze, that's all!
Back home OTL was in 'Manufacturing Mode' so that is a good excuse for Holly and I to find a comfortable bed and snooze the afternoon away, just in time for dinner tonight!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Glue Slappers R Us!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

It was a late night last night and so we didn't exactly get up at our normal time, Old Two Legs was all of ten minutes late in getting up!

Mind you, the ferrets were all fast asleep 'cos it was still dark!

Holly was tucked up next to OTL and I was in the office snoozing on my bed!

Down on the beach we had a good game. OTL had brought the rubber ball and although the tide was out we all had a good game of 'Chase the Ball' and 'Let's Bury The Ball'!

May was chasing me up and down the beach 'cos she wanted dig a hole and bury it.

Come on, Giss The Ball!
She got it a couple of times but in the end it was Holly and I who buried it at the bottom of a whacking great hole!

OK, That's deep enough!
What we didn't tell May was that while it looked like we buried the ball, in fact Holly had sneaked it away while May wasn't looking. So May was digging to find it but it wasn't there!

Just how far down is this ball?
In the end OTL got the ball off us and wrapped it up in a Poo Bag and put it back in the ferret bag for tomorrow!

We got back home and found the Glue Slappers were still snoring their heads off! I mean, just how long do they sleep for?

Holly reckons they must be half ferret needing all that sleep!

Lunchtime we all headed down to the beach again and everyone was snapping away with their cameras. Freddy Boy was having fun by striking a pose and as soon as anyone lifted their camera to take a picture, he would turn his head away or poke his tongue out!

How's this for a 'Regale Look?'
OTL got instructions to take a photo of the 'Three Glue Slappers' while they rested on a bench. Holly and I kept a watch out for woofers 'cos the ferrets were allowed to run around in the grass on their own!

The finest bunch of Glue Slappers on the Beach!
Back home we watched the F1 Racing but to be honest, it was a bit boring, not much overtaking!

Mind you, we fell asleep half way through!

It's a good job The Missus recorded it all 'cos we can watch it during the week when the Two Legs are working!

I'm not sure what we got for dinner tonight but I can sniff the curry bubbling away on the cooker, so I think we may get a bit of Naan Bread dipped in the gravy, but nothing else!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

OTL gets his Artwork!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!

Well, last night, just a bit later than we expected, The Glue Slappers arrived!

One is called Amanda but she is also known as Mandy!

Julie is the other and she is also known as Julie!

Well, they all said 'Hello' and Old Two Legs was presented with the Artwork that he so admired!

Today he mounted it in a frame and it is now hanging on the wall in the lounge!

It's Called 'Bubbles'!
Needless to say, last night they were all gassing away while Holly and I cuddled up to OTL and helped him eat his shortbread!

The Missus, Julie and Mandy spent the evening gassing and slurping the 'Giggle Juice' TM had stored in the fridge!

We all got up late this morning!

The Village Hall is where they are hiding today and they will be there until nine tonight!

This Glue Slapping can be habit forming!

First thing in the morning OTL gets his breakfast and the Lactose Free milk, Miss May is let out first thing and she heads for the milk, has a slurp and then rushes up a plastic tube and straight onto the desk where OTL has left a cap full of Ferretone for her to slurp!

OK, I'll get back to the milk later
Down on the beach we watched a big ship being pushed and pulled about by a couple of small tugs!

Playing 'Push-me-Pull-You'
Once again the sea was too rough for me to take a swim, so I just watched it for a while and then headed off to the sniffs!

I'm brave, but not stupid!
This afternoon OTL has been working at 'Manufacturing' again so that means Holly and I get to have a good snooze on the sofa without TM telling us to 'Shove Over'!

This evening we are back on the sofa with OTL sharing his shortbread!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Ten Degrees down and falling!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

Well, wot a change from yesterday!

We were out this morning and although there was rain in the air it was still muggy but there was slight breeze, enough to blow the Wind Power Generators over in Sheerness!

Making the most of the breeze, we saw a Thames Barge heading off towards London and in the distance there was a Sea Barge heading towards Sheerness!

Two ends of the energy spectrum!
We met up with the Lads and Old Two Legs had to carry Miss May who was all twitchy about wanting to get down and have a run, but not with the woofers!

Finally OTL found some space and May had a great time digging in the sand and chasing sniffs on the top path!

OK? Ready for some sniffs!
Back home I had some fun helping OTL sort out some stuff in the loft. He carried me up into the loft then left me to have a sniff. He then came back to get his bits and also to sort out a picture frame for a special present he has been told he will get this afternoon!

So, with a bit of luck, we may have a super bit of artwork, framed and hanging on the wall before we have to hit the 'Publish' button!

The rain may have fallen in other places and caused flooding but so far we are suffering no more than a damp windscreen!

Down on the beach Freddy enjoyed a dig but got some sand up his nose and did a whacking great sneeze!

WAAAAH.....Tisssshoooooooo!
He has got to learn to hold his breath when he is snuffling in the sand!

I was contemplating a dip but when I saw the size of the waves I took an 'Executive Decision' and went off to investigate the sniffs!

Maybe not to day!
When we got back home OTL took a look at the weather thingy and announced that it was fifteen degrees outside where over the last few days it has bee up around twenty eight degrees!

Autumn has arrived!

Holly and I have been looking out the window but there have been no strange cars, so that means the Glue Slappers haven't arrived yet!

Looks like you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see the artwork but believe me, it will be worth it!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Make the Most of the Sun!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

We were looking at the weather forecast this morning and the run of sunny days looks like it ends today! Tomorrow we should be back to floods and thunder and lightening and torrential rain storms but the afternoon should be 'Changeable'!

Mind you, it didn't stop me and May having a game of 'Dig the Ball' on the beach!

No! It's Mine!
May was in and out of the hole and she even tried to hide the ball while I was trying to get some sand out of my eyes!

My turn to hide it!
Of course, I got it in the end 'cos I'm bigger than her!

Mind you, I do have to watch her teeth 'cos they're blooming sharp!

Oi! That's cheating!
Holly, sitting on the top of the sea wall said she was watching out for woofers who might want to chase a ferret!

I'm on Woofer Watch!
Back home Miss Wendy had fun pinching socks from the pile of washing in the kitchen, she had trouble climbing the stairs while holding the sock in her mouth 'cos she kept stepping on the sock as she tried to jump up the next step!

I suppose we'll have to tell The Missus the sniffy socks are stored in her card room and there is one under the stairs as well!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again, Fred and Wendy decided they would come as well 'cos they wanted to play in the sand.

The tide was in, so Holly stayed up the beach, I went in swimming and Wendy decided to dig a ferret sized hole!

I'm going to miss this when Winter comes!
Freddy tried to poke his nose in but Wendy told him to 'Woof Off' and chase Holly!

This is a 'Hole Lotta Fun'!
It was still a bit too hot so the ferrets got a carry on the way back to the car but as  was wet to my skin I didn't mind!

Back home we all fell asleep in Old Two Leg's office, except OTL who was playing on the computer doing something called 'Invoicing'! I don't really understand it but it seems to make him happy, so we let him get on with it!

We are expecting some 'Glue Slappers' tomorrow so we have been told to be on our best behaviour!

As if!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Another Warm One!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Phew! It has been warm today!

This morning we were out first thing while it was still cool enough to have some fun on the beach!

Old Two Legs got the rubber ball out of the bag and we all had a game of 'Chase' along the beach.

My turn to dig it up!
Back home it was cage cleaning time and both sets of ferrets got to have a rampage around the house. Miss Wendy is always the first to get to the Ferretone and always has a look of sure pleasure as she slurps away!

This is just heaven!
Of course, after a rampage and some stealing of our biscuits the ferrets have a snooze.

Freddy, who is a bit of a Guzzle Guts sometimes finds that he just can't make it to the bed!

I'm Full!
When lunchtime arrived we decided that it was just too hot to take the ferrets out so they stayed sleeping at home.

As it was warm I was straight into the sea getting my tail wet!

Holly on the other paw stayed up the top of the beach sniffing the sniffs!

Come on, find a stick!
OTL found a stick but it wasn't very big, more like a twig!

Mind you a stick is better than nothing!

I have trouble seeing this in the water!
Although I was wet through to my skin the warm sun was soon drying me off and a rub down with a 'Doggy Towel'  enabled me to go home almost dry!

OTL got another order in this afternoon so he has been busy, busy!

Hey guess what?

We have heard that Missy's mum is celebrating her birthday and she is .................................................

Oops!

We have run out of room!

Oh! Smack my tail! :-)

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

Too Hot for Ferrets!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Wow! Hasn't it been hot today?

Even this morning first thing it was almost too hot to walk all the way around, well, that's what Miss May said as she blagged a lift from Old Two Legs!

The sun reflection on the water looked good and of course OTL adjusted the camera so the sun didn't show!

Look! No Sun!
May said that she could sniff the mink again on the beach but Holly and I couldn't find it anywhere.

Crabs, Ferrets, Old Dog and Holly, but no Mink!
We got back home to discover that OTL had to go out delivering stuff, well, there was no way he was going without us!

Off we went and after deliveries OTL filled the car up with petrol and while we were waiting Holly said that the air held a sniff she recognised, Doggy Shop!

Well, that was it, we both gave OTL a real woofing and we landed in the car park of 'Pets R Us', Holly and I went potty!

We haven't been here for ages so this was something special!

In we went and almost filled the trolley with goodies!

There was stuff for the ferrets as well, plus nibbles for our holiday next month, then there was nibbles for now and teeth cleaning chews as well!

We came out loaded up to the car roof, so we're OK for the holiday and the next month!

We were late in going out at lunchtime 'cos OTL was waiting for a delivery. Plus, we thought it  was just too hot to take Freddy and Wendy out but they wanted to come!

That means we had OTL and even The Missus came along as well!

First it was OK 'cos there was a cool breeze blowing but the ferrets soon decided that it would be a good idea if they got a carry from OTL!

It's no good! We both need a carry!
When we got back to the car both ferrets were straight in the water bowl while Holly and I had to wait!

After they had their drink Holly and I watched while OTL poured water over both of them to help cool them down a little!

Soggy Ferrets!

As soon as they were back in their cage Holly and I were nose deep into the water bowl!

Super Stuff!

Back home they got another rinse under the cold water tap!

Talk about Wriggly Ferrets!

We are off now for a snooze, this running around sure takes it out of us woofers!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy a a soggy Freddy de Ferret!

Yet another warm day!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

It certainly has been warm today. First thing this morning there was a slight breeze that helped keep the temperature down a little so May was quite happy to play 'Dig and Whizz' on the beach. Old Two Legs was more interested in the sun and the reflection on the water!

Maybe we should have cropped the sun out?
Miss May was digging in a big hole and found my ball from yesterday! At first she wouldn't let me have it 'cos she said it was hers but in the end she gave in and I managed to get it out of the hole!

This ball has 'FERRET' written all over it!
OTL threw it into the water a few times but he kept it close to the beach, just in case I decided to do some 'Deep Swimming'!

Easy, Easy, Easy!
As OTL headed up the grass path with Fred and Wendy, I had a crafty roll on the beach and ended up with sprinkles all over my back!

Still can't get rid of the last few, no matter how hard I shake!
When we got home OTL gave May and extra slurp of Ferretone as a sort of reward for finding the ball!

You just can't beat a good slurp!
Lunchtime it was really hot, twenty seven degrees in the sun!

Down on our walk the ferrets were asking for lots of 'carries' from OTL.

We met up with some tourists and didn't they yap!

I thought Holly could woof but these two just kept on woofing their tails off! I mean, it wasn't even their beach!

Woofin' Tourists!
It was good to be back in doors. Freddy put his head in the water bowl and blew bubbles and OTL treated Wendy to a cold water splosh in the sink, just to help her cool down a bit before having her midday meal!

The afternoon has been spent snoozing in our favourite bed and OTL has been sending off invoices which is his most favourite game, second only to seeing the BACS payments on his bank statement!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!
