Dahlings! It was So Exhausting!

Hi Woofers!

Us here again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We love Sundays, there is no rush to do anything important, well for us woofers anyway! The Missus has been up in her Craft Store Room crashing and bashing about  doing what she calls 'Tidying Up'!

There were times when her crashing made Holly think there were Whizz Bangs going off outside the front door!

Old Two Legs told her not to show off and sent her up to TM to see what the noise was all about!

This morning Eric was getting used to the Sea Wall sniffs and he even managed to get almost to the car park before asking OTL for a lift!

Mind you, he is still all open mouthed at the sunrise, he has only seen it all get brighter 'cos he was in a cage with all his brothers and sisters and they slept in a box in the corner of the cage and never woke up until the sun was well up in the sky!

A Sunrise Surprise for Eric!
Miss May has been instructing him on the different sniffs on the beach

No, that is a Cockle Sniff, not a Whelk!
I must say that Eric is working hard at the sniffs and has started to get some of them right.

Mind you, it could be luck!

Cockle, Muscle, Oyster, Whelk, Bacon Sarnie, Dog Wee!
He does love the mown grass, it's full of sniffs that even Holly can't work out!

It is funny to see him under the grass and suddenly he pops his head up, just to see where he is!

Am I there yet!
One thing we have noticed over the last two weeks, his face markings are coming more pronounced, at this rate he will end up looking like Freddy, but two and a half years younger!

This is my best side!
Now, as I said before, today OTL has planned to take our picture for the 2016 Christmas Card.

This time he is planning on having everyone in the picture, woofers and ferrets!

It was hilarious!

OTL trying to get us all to look at the camera at the same time. Miss May giving Eric a Donk, just 'cos she could! Then Wendy objected to Freddy sniffin' her butt and gave him the 'Ferrets Warning' which made him fall off the cushion!

Holly kept on woofing at the next door neighbour for making such a noise with their rubbish bins!

OTL didn't help 'cos he wanted the ferrets to wave at the camera and got upset when Eric would only wave his tail! To be honest, he didn't really know what was going on!

In the end OTL got fed up and packed it all away again saying that he was going to buy some Christmas cards from the Oxfam shop in Rochester and it won't have any woofers or ferrets on it!

You know I think OTL just doesn't have the patience to be a proper Art Director!

I suppose now we will have to have a chat with our agents and see if we can find a 'Window' where we can all get together again!

Hee, Hee, Hee!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Eric goes hunting Nargles!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's Saturday and anything can happen!

Today Old Two Legs has been booked into the vet to get his Flu Jab. It's the same as the Distemper Jab but the needle is bigger and longer and hurts loads, well that is what OTL says!

It was The Missus who booked him in at nine thirty so the cage cleaning had to wait until he got back but also we had to be out early so he can get back home and down the vets in time.

That means it was not only dark but the tide hadn't come in yet!

As far as Eric was concerned, that was all OK by him!

You promise that wave has gone!
We had a run around the beach and by the time the sun had got up we had moved onto the grass where Eric got busy hunting Nargles!

Nuffin' here!
It then started to rain so we didn't hang about too long and of course, OTL had to be stabbed!

When he came back he said that his arm was sore and limped up the stairs to the office to start cleaning.

Eric noticed the limp and asked just where he got stabbed, I mean, if you get stabbed in the arm, what has that to do with your leg!

OTL said it was a very long needle!

We don't believe him!

We had to wait at lunchtime to go out 'cos the rain was still making puddles in the road!

Fred and Wendy got an extra hours snooze!

The walk was a 'Quick' walk and Holly was hurrying us up to get back to the car before she got too wet!

Back home Wendy and Fred enjoyed a late lunch and crawled back into bed. On the other paw, Eric was wandering around his cage and rattling the bars, he wanted to get out for a rampage!

OTL said he could come out and have a climb up the cages. He first investigated the travelling cages in case there were any Nargles who have sneaked in under the cover of the blanket!

If you are a Nargle, come out NOW!
No Nargles!

While she was climbing she came across the Ferret bag with Wilma's name on it and OTL had to tell her about he being Freddy's sister.

Holly came into the office and shouted out that there was a Nargle behind Eric!

There's a Nargle behind you!
He jumped straight into OTL's arms!

Holly was rolling on the floor laughing her tail off!

I think Holly better had watch out 'cos I'm sure Eric will get his own back!

OTL has gone to collect TM from the village hall where she has been doing her Master Class in Glue Pot Slapping!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Eric's First Day on The Sea Wall!

Yo! Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, today is the first day that Eric is allowed out along the Sea Wall Walk. All of us woofers have been stabbed with a big needle to protect us against Distemper and some other stuff that is nasty!

Seeing how there are a load of woofers visiting our Sea Wall Old Two Legs  reckons it is a good idea to get us all done!

Eric, he is the last to get done and now it's ten days after his jab and the vet reckons it has now got to all the places it should get to and Eric is clear to go out!

OTL had already adjusted a harness and put Eric's tag with his name and telephone numbers to call, the harness is the one that used to belong to Mr Brambles, so it has been  nicely worn in and should be comfortable until OTL can order up another new one for Eric.

We started off with Eric and May in the same carry cage but May started to show off and there was a bit of a kerfuffle so OTL had to use two travelling cages!

Down on the sea front OTL decided to carry both ferrets until we got onto the grass path so that Eric could get his first sight and sniff of grass!

Just wot is all this Grass?
Eric was having a ball! We managed to get him away from the grass and pretty soon we were down on the beach.

We introduced him to the shells and the sand and the Sea Weed. Holly told him not to get near to the sea 'cos he would get wet and soggy!

'What's Wet and Soggy?' says Eric marching towards the water!

Of course, the waves were slapping onto the beach but it wasn't High Tide yet and the water was creeping further up the beach and pretty soon Eric's paws were getting wet!

This fun, but does it get warmer?
Then the water went away and Eric tried to follow but was amazed when the sea turned around and ran back up the beach!

Hey! It's coming back!
Unfortunately, Eric didn't move quick enough and the wave  went Splosh all over him!

'What the Ferret was That' says Eric as he came back up the beach with water dripping off the end of his tail!

Eric learns about waves!
Eric got a quick wipe down from OTL, shook himself, fluffed up his tail and went off exploring the Sea Wall!

There are some funny sniffs down here!
Holly said that he should watch out 'cos Nargles live down the cracks. OTL said that we hadn't seen a Nargle for ages and they go on holiday in the Winter Time!

Back on the grass again Eric was sniffing all the sniffs and asking what they were and where they came from!

He was having a great time!

Yeah! That is Rabbit Poo and it's not bad for nibbling!
Eric didn't walk all the way around 'cos his legs have got to get used to walking over rough ground so OTL gave him a lift when he slowed down.

Back home he had a rampage around the house but as soon as he put his head on the bed he was asleep!

May says we have worn him out!

Lunchtime Fred and Wendy were looking forward to their walk but when we got to the car park we noticed that the tide had gone out, shame, Eric would have loved that!

Today it was Holly's turn to lead the march to the beach and off she set at a fast pace.

Come on, keep in line and get a move on, I need a wee!
Down on the beach Freddy was not in the mood for a rampage up and down the beach so we left him talking to OTL and trying to get a lift back to the car!

I've never really done beaches, I'm more of a Cuddly Bed ferret!
OTL wasn't falling for that one and Freddy had to walk almost all of the way back, except for the bit in the middle where OTL relented and gave both Wendy and Freddy a lift!

Tomorrow The Missus is off to her Master Class so OTL is going to try to get all us woofers in one picture for the Christmas Card!

Now that is going to be fun!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Holly Gets a Present!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, we have some good news! Last night Miss May was snoozing her tail off in Eric's bed!

Eric was sleeping on the floor!

This morning when Old Two Legs looked in on them Eric had climbed into bed and was sleeping on top of the blanket while May was sleeping under the blanket!

As I'm typing this May is back in Eric's bed but Eric is up in the hammock!

It's all getting closer! We just hope he gets to cuddle up for a snooze before he has to go for his operation on his 'Dangly Bits'!

Another thing about Eric, today is his last day of being confined to the cage, tomorrow he will be taken out for his first walk!

We are looking forward to introducing him to a load of new sniffs and then there's the sand and the shells and the grass and the woofers and..............well, he's going to be amazed!

We remember Freddy just sat there on the grass and kept on saying 'There's Just So Much!'

After yesterdays rain and howling gales it was a pleasant surprise to see the weather had calmed down and the wind had stopped blowing!

A Calm Morning!
We had some fun sniffin' the beach and Miss May tried a little 'Rock Climbing'!

I also call this ''Bouldering'!
We met up with Bert who we haven't seen for ages and he was so pleased to see Holly that he gave her a kiss!
OK, but no Tongues!
Back home to a bowl of freshly cooked chicken and then off to bed for a snooze while OTL plays about on the computer!

A Warm Bed, a Bonio and a Full Tummy!
Lunchtime there was a hail storm over the house and we had to delay the walk but it soon passed and we were off chasing the sun!

Who needs a Yellow Filter?
Holly and I found some sand that was calling out for a good dig and we both had a great time digging!

OK, My Turn, My Turn, My Turn, My Turn, My Turn, My Turn, My Turn!
We found another sniff and even young Freddy came along to share!

Come of Girls, share the sniff!
Now, you know how upset Holly gets with all these nasty Whizz Bangs? Well, today the postman arrived with several packages. There was a box of Ferretone for the ferrets and a box of bits for OTL and a package for Holly Godwin!

Well, we weren't expecting any deliveries so OTL helped us to open it and inside we found a super Magic Dog Collar that you put on when your feeling a little stressed. Like when there are Whizz Bangs or if you have to go to the vet or get visits from strangers!

There was no letter or card to say who sent it and Holly said she hadn't ordered it and the ferrets say they hadn't ordered it either!

All we could find was a post code on the back for Royston.

We were still puzzled until The Missus came in.

She told us that her FaceAche mate called Jassy had read about Holly's troubles with the Whizz Bangs and she had said she was sending 'Something To Help'!

How Extraordinarily Kind!

A Big Wet Sloppy Lick for Jassy!

The Whizz Bangs have all gone now but the package says it is good up to March 2018 so we will keep that in the drawer for the next load of Whizz Bangs!

Mind you, Holly has said that she could loan it to OTL the next time he has to take one of us to the vets so it will keep him calm while they put his credit card through the machine!

OTL needs all the help he can get!

Hey!

STOP PRESS NEWS!

ERIC HAS JUST CREPT INTO THE CUDDLE CUP WITH MAY AND SHE HASN'T KICKED HIM OUT!

Well, she hasn't woken up yet either, so claws crossed and we hope she let's him stay there!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A Wet One Today!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a Terrible Day!

It rained all night and hasn't stopped all day!

This morning we had to put on our rain coats but we still got rain down our necks!

Old Two Legs got soaking wet on his trousers and boot and had to change them when we got back home!

Holly and I had to have a good rub down with our doggy towels and Miss May got a good rub down as well!

I got dragged to the vets and this time it was just a push and a poke around, a few questions then OTL got the bill and prescription!

We were told that I will be on these pills for the rest of my life to prevent me getting a soggy butt!

I have to keep on with the dose we are on now but in a months time we can try cutting it down to one tablet every two days, unless I have any accidents and then it's back to one a day!

This morning when OTL went in to say 'Good Morning' to the ferrets he found Miss May in Eric's bed!

Eric was on the floor outside the bed but OTL took this to be a good sign!

A bit later on in the morning, there was some squeaking from May and OTL found Eric in May's bed!

She was doing her 'Little Squeak' which doesn't mean she is scared or hurt but more of an invitation to play a game. OTL had to make a quick decision on leaving Eric inside the bed or get him out, just in case.

OTL decided to ask what Eric was doing and Eric almost fell out of the bed leaving Miss May in the bed all curled up in her own 'Ferret Doughnut'!

OTL decided that was a good sign and left Eric to get on with it but since then he hasn't tried to cuddle up again, maybe tonight?

Lunchtime it was still raining but not so much and we had a quick trip around the beach walk.

Freddy and Wendy had a little dig in the sand but insisted they got a carry to the bench on top of the hill. At that point they both got put down onto the ground and trotted all the way back to the car!

Back home we all got another rub down with the towel before heading to our beds for some serious snoozing!

Unfortunately OTL didn't take the camera out with him today, so no fancy pictures today!

Maybe tomorrow!

We have had 15.9mm of raid today, OTL's weather station say so!

Bye bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A day to be snuggled up to a warm duvet!

Hi Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Last night we managed to mug some of the Gammon Steak from Old Two Legs plus some creamy Blue Cheese on a water biscuit!

Holly and I just love that Blue Cheese!

Just of late The Missus has been complaining about the noise that Eric and May make when they have a rampage around the cage in the early hours of the morning. It doesn't bother Holly me or Fred and Wendy, but it does bother TM!

OTL has been closing the office door to reduce the noise but there is a problem with that solution, I can't get to my second bed!

You see, when TM's snoring gets too much, I sneak off to the office and snooze in my bed until the morning when I go back to wake OTL up with a good ear licking!

Well, with the door closed I can't get in and so I do my 'Come and Open the Door' whine that wakes OTL up every time!

Twelve forty five OTL gets up to let me into the office!

Two Thirty I'm doing it again but this time it's 'cos I want a wee and I can't get out of the office!

OTL gets up and let's me out into the garden for a sniff and a wee!

We all get back into bed but by now TM is awake and she is bouncing about on the bed complaining about being woken up by OTL and us Woofers!

There is no pleasing her some times!

We woke up late this morning!

Holly and I were having a chat about it this morning and we reckon that TM should sleep in the office, on our sleeping cushions, while the ferrets, us Woofers and OTL all slept on the bed!

OTL said that TM wouldn't go for that, mainly 'cos the cushions weren't big enough for her.

Holly said she should curl up in a ball to sleep like wot us woofers did but by the look on TM's face I don't think that went down well!

OK, wot about building a kennel in the garden shed for her?
When we got down to the beach we noticed that the river looked like it was on fire again!

More steamy water coming down to meet the cold sea water or is it the other way around?
Miss May was a bit worried about moving into the bedroom 'cos Freddy and Wendy might gang up on her in the night. Holly said that she would look after her and tell them to Woof Off!

Stick with me girl and I'll sort them out for you!
May then felt a little better and proceeded to dig a hole to hide that ball in, but I had already done that further up the beach!

Mind you, when Miss May gets digging she can really throw the sand about!

Oi! Watch where you're throwing that stuff!
Lunchtime Fred and Wendy came with us on our walk and although it wasn't as cold, Freddy still reckoned the shells were too cold for his paws!

It's alright for you lot but I've got tender paws you know!
OTL picked them both up and carried them to the grass path where it was softer on the paws for them!

The pair ran all the way back to the car, stopping for a couple of sniffs on the way. When they got in the car both were straight into the water bowl for a slurp 'cos as Wendy says, their little legs have to work three time faster than ours and are prone to overheating!

We need this!
Mid afternoon OTL telephones the vet to get an appointment for me tomorrow. Seems he wants to get me checked up regarding my 'Soggy Bottom' troubles and to get a prescription for my medicine 'cos he has found a source on the Internetty Thingy where they are a third of the price he had to pay to the vet for the first months supply!

OTL has said that they won't be stabbing me with any needles, just a poke about around my tummy.

Well, all I can say is 'He better had warmed his paws up before he touches me'!

Cold Paws on your tummy can make a girl jump you know!

Wish me luck for tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy Freddy and Eric de Ferret

A Nuffin Sort of Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Well, we are pleased to announce that last night there were no Whizz Bangs going off. Mind you, the rain did help!

Holly decided that she would take up her 'Safe' position next to Old Two Legs and she stayed there all evening!

There is the possibility of some bangs tonight but, claws crossed, there will be too much homework for the Little Two Legs to be allowed out!

This morning it was rather cold and very windy, OTL got all wrapped up in his coat with a hood to keep the wind from blowing down his neck!

The Missus said he looked like Obi-Wan Kenobi!

Miss May decided to get into the ferret bag instead of sitting on OTL's arm but when OTL put her down on the beach she decided that it would be a good idea to get a move on and get back to the car as soon as possible!

Too cold to hang about this morning!
We were pleased to get back home and the ferrets had a great time rampaging around the house!

Holly and I spent some time snoozing on the bed until we got called downstairs for a bowl of freshly cooked chicken.

I must say, it did go down well!

Come lunchtime I gave OTL a shove and got him moving 'cos we wanted a walk!

It wasn't as cold but the wind was blowing which lowered the temperature to -2.6 degrees!

OTL says that is called 'Wind Chill' and it showed up on his 'Weather Station'!

There is a place where we could get out of the wind and it is surprising how the temperature goes up when you get out of the wind.
Come on, lets get behind the bushes!
Lucky for us, the rain in the clouds stayed up in the air but we did see some rain falling on Essex!

Just windy and cold!
The lack of rain while we were out walking still didn't impress Freddy, he still wanted to get back in the ferret bag but OTL insisted he get some exercise 'cos he has to look his best for the Harrietsham Ferret Show at the end of this month.

I'm fit, healthy and good looking, I Don't Need Exercise and anyway, these shells are cold on my paws!!
His humour didn't improve when they got to the grass path 'cos the wind just whistled over the top and made his tail cold!
Come on, get a move on I can feel the Wind Chill freezing my tail!
Poor Freddy, he ran so fast that Wendy had to tell him to slow down 'cos she was out of breath!

OTL has been out to see the Accountant so I sat up at the bedroom window watching out for his return.

Not sure what is for dinner tonight but we did see TM wandering about with a pack of Gammon Steaks, so, with a bit of luck, Holly and I will get some nibbles later!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Sunday, 6 November 2016

Sunday is for playing 'Donk'!

Yo! Woofers!

We're back again!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

We love Sunday's, that is 'cos we get a bit longer in bed cuddled up to Old Two Legs. Holly hadn't moved all night long, she crept under OTL's arm and stayed there!

Those Whizz Bangs have a lot to answer for!

The ferrets said they didn't even notice any bangs but they can do the sleep of the dead, nothing wakes a ferret from it's slumber, except a cap full of Ferretone waved under it's nose!

This morning May and Eric were out first, as normal, and played a game of 'Chase' around the office while OTL tried to have his breakfast!

As OTL says, 'No Chance'!

May was first at the Ferretone and the Chicken Strips, then Eric found the entrance to the tube leading to the Ferretone!

Mmmm! I sniff Breakfast and Ferretone!
Eric loves Ferretone and Chicken Strips and reckons he could survive on them all day!

This is seriously good!
After breakfast Eric went back in the cage while may and us went out for a walk.

Down on the beach we spotted the spent firework left on the beach. Holly reckons the fireworks are expensive and it was a waste of money to just set light to it and make a noise. What should happen is for the money spent on the fireworks to be put in a big pile and set alight, same result but no bangs!

Wot a waste!
Back home the ferrets took turns in having a rampage and Eric did his 'Swimming in Ping Pong Balls' trick which made The Missus laugh!

OTL didn't see it 'cos he was shovelling ferret poo!

Well someone has got to do it!

May thought it would be great fun if she did a 'Donk' on OTL while he was cleaning the cage. So, she crept up stairs and peeked around the corner, there was OTL, on his knees, one arm and his head and shoulders inside the cage shovelling the poo into one corner of the  cage. Miss May did a whoop of delight and charged at OTL, she jumped up and landed on OTL's arm and did a massive big 'DONK'!

Now, OTL's skin is not as tough as a ferrets and blood started to ooze out of OTL's skin.

That was normal when May does her 'Donk' trick but the best bit was the way OTL jumped while inside the cage, banging his bald patch on the roof of the ground floor of the cage!

May didn't hang about, she was off back down stairs Dooking all the way to the kitchen!

Lunchtime we were out again and it was still cold and a North Wind was blowing as well, cold or wot!

The ferrets got a carry in the ferret bag while Holly and I went hunting sniffs!

When you got out of the wind it wasn't so bad but a 'Hiddy Hole' out of the wind was difficult to find!

Well, at least it keeps the generators going!
We had a run on the beach, mainly to keep warm and it took a little while to get the ferrets moving!

Freddy was trying to negotiate a lift back in the bag but OTL said that he needed the exercise!

What about I let you have my slurp of Ferretone for a lift?
It didn't work and they both had to walk all the way back to the car!

Once home we all snuggled down for a snooze, except Eric, he was trying to get out of the cage so he could go swimming in the balls again!

OTL said that if he was good he may get a rampage later on!

Not sure what we have for dinner tonight, I mean, OTL but we should be able to get a slurp or two!

What ever it is it has to be better than that Doggy Scoff TM served up this morning, I mean, I've sniffed better Ferret Poo!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Saturday, 5 November 2016

It's getting a bit chilly down here!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, Saturday today and The Missus is off to her Master Class clutching a load of paper and inks, so you can just imagine what her fingers are going to be like tonight!

Young Eric is getting a bit fed up with having to stay in the cage when Miss May goes out for a walk with us in the morning. He gets a right strop on and rattles the cage bars and we have even seen him trying to bite the bars!

Old Two Legs told him he had to be patient  and wait for the tenth of November when his injection should have kicked in and he will be protected against Distemper and other nasty stuff!

Eric was still not impressed!

Last night, at two thirty, he decided he wanted to have a rampage around the house and set about rattling the cage bars.

OTL told him off and shut the office door, then he shut the bedroom door.

TM walked into the door 'cos she was expecting it to be open!

OTL put his head under the duvet and pretended to be asleep!

Down on the beach it was a bit gloomy, the sun had come up but it was chilly, so we decided to have a quick run and then back to the car!

Pretty but rather chilly with a North Wind!
OTL had told us he  wanted to get back quickly 'cos TM had made an appointment for him to get stabbed with a needle to help prevent Flu this winter!

So, back we got, OTL managed to clean one cage before he had to go. So, off he went to the Head Office of the medical centre and arrived at twenty past nine, just in time for his nine thirty appointment.

Trubble was, the place was shut up!

Seems like he got there a week early!

Wot a Plonker!

All the cages cleaned and Eric got a rampage through the Ping Pong balls and a race around the kitchen and lounge!

Come lunch time Fred and Wendy were just getting into their snooze time when OTL woke them up to come for a walk with us!

Both ferrets got a cuddle all the way down to the beach, so they were ready for a run back to the car!

I fancied a swim but one look at OTL told me I didn't have his blessing!

Err! Let me guess...........No?
Mind you, one look at the water I could understand what OTL was getting at!

It looks a bit Yuk!
The tide wasn't fully in but there was some muddy looking scum being washed onto the beach.

I don't fancy swimming in that!
There is sand on this beach but after that comes mud and when the tide comes in it stirs the mud up and makes the sea look mucky!

It might be OK for washing Holly's butt but not for swimming today!
Back home it wasn't long before all of us, except OTL, were fast asleep!

The weather is promising some rain later today so maybe that will dampen the Whizz Bangs tonight although we did see that the local pub was offering a 'Free Firework Display', They will do anything to sell beer!

We plan to get cuddled up with OTL tonight and if it gets too bad we will have to go to bed early and cuddle up together!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It Rained Today!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again.

It's Friday, so that means we can look forward to an extra half an hour in bed!

The only thing that would prevent an extra snooze is The Missus crashing about on her 'Work Station' getting 'Inspired'!

Today we got rained on, now I know it's autumn and we should expect cold and windy and wet but here in North Kent we have had a very long spell of 'No Rain'!

We thought that the 'Great Flood' was about to land on us, a whole One and a Half Millimetres landed on our weather machine today!

Old Two Legs says he is thinking about ordering up a boat if it carries on!

This morning it wasn't too bad, no rain or cold winds so we didn't need our warm coats this morning.

Who knows, we may even get a swim this afternoon!
Little Miss May made the most of the weather and got herself of to a good roll on the beach in a pile of well rotted sea weed!

Eric will be dead impressed with this sniff!
Back home Eric had a great time rampaging around the house. After his injection he is not allowed to go out for ten days, so when we go out he gets all upset and rattles on the cage bars and sticks his bottom lip out!

Yesterday OTL introduced Eric to a crate full of Ping Pong balls.

Eric went potty!

OTL threw him in and he 'Swam' to the bottom of the crate then exploded out and landed on the carpet!

Then he dived straight back in again and set the balls flying every where!

Eric has found a super toy!

OTL says that on the tenth of November he can come out and see what the world looks like outside his cage!

Lunchtime we were down the beach again and the tide was almost  at the high point. I got told that if I went in the water I'd be walking home!

Spoil sport!

Freddy nearly got a swim, he was digging a hole in the sand when a wave came roaring up the beach and nearly caught Freddy!

Wow! That was a close thing!
As normal, Holly Chops stayed well away from the water and she spent time investigating the cut grass.

She reckons to have found at least twelve new sniffs and even got a roll in one until OTL spotted her and she got told off!

Oooo! Sniff number nine!
Holly Dog got a little upset yesterday evening when a very loud bang went off outside. She spent an hour cuddled up on OTL's lap shivering. I wish I could have got out, I'd make them sorry for upsetting my Sis!

I suppose there will be more Whizz Bangs tomorrow but with a bit of luck they all go up in smoke and we can get back to normal!

I see Michael has come back from his tour around the UK in his new Motorhome!

OTL has got Curry tonight so Holly and I are looking forward to getting some Nan bred dipped in the gravy!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
