Ooops!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!

What a windy night we had last night, one of our fence panels was blown out of the end of the garden. Old Two Legs was supposed to put it back today but he has been too busy working, poor lad!

Now, Holly and I had some fun this morning, we both woke up and decided that we would sing our Birthday Song to OTL before he got up.

Holly jumped onto his chest and stuck her nose against his while I curled around the top of his head and stuck my nose into his ear and the pair of us began to sing.

Well, we had hardly got to the second line when he woke up and says that his birthday is TOMORROW!

We did feel a little silly, I mean, singing it a day early!

Holly says that we will have to think up a new song and a way of delivering it 'cos he got spoilt by us this morning!

Our walk first thing this morning was a damp affair, we left home in the dry, well, it wasn't raining but when we got to the Sea Wall there was a rain cloud over the top of us an, 'Splosh' down it came and we all got wet!

Lucky for us lunchtime came and although the rain forecast showed rain over the top of us, OTL said he spotted a 'Window' in the weather and off we went about a half an hour earlier than normal and.....

OTL's Window!
See, OTL manages it sometimes! The blue sky was over Southend but it wriggled it's way across the Thames and shone on us for a while!

Mmmm, I can sniff Kebabs from Southend!
Eric had decided to stay in bed with Miss Wendy so it was just Holly and I who had a run along the beach.

It's great fun running up and down the beach and digging our claws into the sand as we run!

Holly found a sniff and enjoyed a roll while OTL was jumping up and down telling her she way a 'Smelly Mutt!'

I need a roll in the sand!
We have gathered OTL's birthday cards in a pile under our bed and will give him them tomorrow and thanks to Archie Babe for the Digital Car, Holly and I have had a look at it and think it's great! We will forward it to OTL tomorrow morning!

The Missus says that as it's his birthday, we will have a Chinese Take a Way tomorrow evening and she will share her bottle of bubbly with him!

Well, as long as Holly and I get a share of the Plawn Clackers and King Plawns!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

We're Back!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Did you miss us? We missed you!

It was all Old Two Legs fault, on Sunday he was messing about with the computer and it took offence and went into 'Wobble Mode' and refused to load programs!

He only gained control when he uploaded a Windows 10 Update!

He reckons the Windows 10 has a mind of it's own and he says it hates him!

Mind you, the way he talks to the computer it's a wonder it even switches on!

Sunday it still wasn't doing wot it should but he couldn't spend too long playing 'cos we all had an appointment to visit Alun and Glynis for a Birthday visit and a meal!

You see it is Glynis Birthday today and OTL's Birthday tomorrow. So, all together now, just for Auntie Glynis, on the count of five and a half................One, Two, Five 1/2

Happy Birthday to yoooo
Here's a Bucket of Poooo
Two bottles of Wee Wee
From Holly and Me!

We had a super time pinching some Plawn Clackers at lunchtime and listening to tales of when OTL and Alun used to play together when they visited their Nana and that was a long, long time ago!!

Then they left Holly and I to guard the house while they went off for a meal!

A right bunch of Hooligans!
Alun tipped the restaurant off that there were a couple of birthday celebrations and the waiters came marching through the restaurant singing 'Happy Birthday' to the pair of them!

Mind you, the song was not as good as our one!

They couldn't put all the candles on the ice cream cos you would end up with a Tsunami along the table!
Today we got up early cos the weather man says we will get rain and wind soon. Now we know that it's January and rain and cold and wind is normal but we shall be all tucked up in bed while that lot goes on, we're not daft!

It was later on this afternoon that the computer let OTL open up the programs and stuff, so it is all back to square one!

We hope!

Holly and I are planning to wake OTL up early tomorrow, just to wish him a Happy Birthday and Holly says we should let the Ferrets out as well and we will all jump on him to wake him up.

I'm sure he would like that!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Snoozy Saturday.

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We love Saturdays, normally we wake up late, which seems to last all day!

Today was a little different, Old Two Legs woke up early, as a result of The Missus crashing about, and he fell out of bed around five thirty!

As soon as he falls out of bed I rush over to where he was sleeping and dive under the duvet which is all warm and snugly!

Today TM is off to her village hall crafty day slapping glue and glitter while OTL takes us out for a stroll around the Sea Wall and through the woods.

Back home Holly and I headed back up to bed while the ferrets had a rampage around the house and getting into as much trouble as they could!

Miss Wendy, being a little older than Eric, loves to pinch the Brambles Biscuits and slurp the Ferret Milk and shove Eric out of the way!  Eric gets his share when Wendy sets off to have a snooze in the Pinny Box which is a warm place to snooze!

Eric and OTL play games with a hand towel. OTL throws it over Eric and he rolls onto his back and grabs the towel in his paws while at the same time OTL tickles Eric's tail!

What with OTL laughing and Eric dooking his tail off Holly and I have a terrible time trying to get some sleep!

Lunchtime Wendy was still fast asleep but Eric was rattling on the cage door and soon he was into his harness and the travelling cage and off we went to the Sea Wall again.

By now it had got a bit colder due to the wind blowing in off the sea and it took some time to get Eric out of the bag for a walk!

As we entered the woods Eric wriggled himself out of the bag and down onto the ground. In the woods the wind had dropped so he could snuffle his way around the dead leaves and the undergrowth.

We went past the Grain Rock that was still sitting in the fork of the tree! I wonder just how long it will take for some Two Legs to see it!

This afternoon OTL was still playing on the computer trying to put together a proposal for one of his customers, dead boring really but it keeps him out of trouble!

When TM arrived back this afternoon she brought in some sausage and chips from the local fish shop. Holly and I had great fun making sure that we got our fair share of sausage!

So, that's it for today, a lazy, snoozy day with the prospect of another snoozy day tomorrow, with a bit of luck!

Bye, bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Getting ready for the weekend!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

The Missus is getting ready for the weekends Glue Slapping! Mind you, this weekend she is heading off to the village hall with a pack of face masks!

We for start won't be looking in, they might all be getting high on some new glue!

You just can't trust them to behave themselves!

As normal, it was as black as it could be this morning and we often lost Old Two Legs in the dark.

It was better at lunchtime but the clouds were all dark and foreboding, let's hope tomorrow is better.

Spring is a coming, honest!
Remember that Grain Rock we repositioned the other day? Well, it is still there in the tree where OTL left it. I suppose that everyone is walking past looking at the ground and not up at eye level. Mind you, OTL is six foot two inches so I suppose you would have to walk along looking up!

Look, two birdies sitting in a nest!
While OTL was waving the camera about, Holly and I headed off towards the car, only we took the wrong path, even though, there was a super sniff coming down the path!

Yeah, I know he is calling but this sniff is so juicy!
This afternoon they went off shopping and left Holly and I to guard the house which was OK but we were glad when they came back 'cos that means we may get some treats!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Archie Babes Eight Today!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here on Archie's birthday!

I see that Archie has had a couple of Sing Song Birthday wishes already so we will have to add our effort to the pile!

OK, in Nine Seven Time................

One, Two, Ninety Seven!

Archie Babe is eight today,
Nice things to him we will say,
So, 'Let's sniff your butt', as we're passing
Happy Birthday all day!

OK, that's not too bad!

We hope the weather has been better where Archie lives 'cos it's been rubbish down here!

Black clouds, a little rain, and a potty woofer woofing at Eric!

No pictures today, too wet and too dark and we couldn't find any more Grain Rocks!

Eric came out with us again but because of the rain he decided to stay in the 'Ferret Bag' which was just as well 'cos a potty Collie came up to Old Two Legs and started woofing at Eric which scared him. OTL put out his hand and showed the Collie his palm and said, in a voice we know as 'Listen To Me'!

And said 'NO!'

That was it, he backed away and although there was some grumbling, he backed off and left us alone!

That sorted him!

I reckon we should wake Miss Wendy tomorrow 'cos she hasn't had run for a while.

OTL clipped Wendy's claws this morning so a run on the concrete will round them off!

Let's hope Archie Babe has had loads of nibble treats today, well, an itchy butt once a year is allowable!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Another Grey Day

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We were hoping to get another sunrise like yesterday but to be honest we were unsure it would even get light!

So, with the camera left in the car we carried on along the path in the dark looking for a place to wee!

Lunchtime it was light and as he was making such a noise in the cage, we decided that Eric should come out for a run along the sea wall!

To begin with Eric refused to move but by the time we got to the beach he was galloping along sniffing all the sniffs and even started to dig a hole!

Just for a change we went along a new path and found a new Grain Rock! It had been placed on a concrete lid and covered with old leaves!

OTL inspected it and saw it was a small picture of a couple of birds in a yellow coloured nest.

Getting ready  for Spring?

A new place for the Rock!
Just before the gate we spotted another rock and because we didn't have a camera, OTL had to use the phone to take a picture, mind you he was a bit wobbly!

A Wobbly shot!
Let's cross our paws that we get a sunrise tomorrow and a few more Rocks!

Now, put your thinking collars on and get into gear 'cos tomorrow is Archie Babes Birthday! So, we want Happy Birthday Songs that rhyme with words like ee and oo!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

A Sunrise!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We did it! Yes, we got down to the sea front just in time to see it!

The Bench!
Well, OK, not just the bench but the pre glow of the sunrise and the sun rose at 08:04hr!

It would have been a while before the sun crept over the top of Sheerness but the pre glow is always dramatic and in fact we reckon it is better than the actual sun rise it's self!

Getting better but we can't hang around!
Old Two Legs reckons that it won't be to long before he will be getting out the big camera and a bigger lens.

We still reckon he is a big show off!

You can tell everyone is back at work, OTL has been bashing  away on the computer 'Processing Orders'.

Mind you, that gives us plenty of time for a snooze under the desk!

The undergrowth is growing all ready for Spring.
We saw a Grain Rock the other day but as much as we have looked, it has gone!

Grain Rocks with legs?

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Holly The Tractor Driver!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Today was a lazy day, well, this morning Old Two Legs got up a whole hour later than normal. I didn't mind, that means I can have snooze under the duvet while he splashes around in the shower!

We got down to the beach and saw that the sun was trying to creep up over the horizon. Actually it didn't look too bad and we were expecting a bright sunrise but just when we thought it would spring into life, it died!

I mean, gone, poof!

It was here, then it went!
In fact, not a glimpse of red at all, it just went!

Might as well have a poo, unless he still has the camera out!
Lunchtime it was all light but still sort of grey. We had an interesting time listening to OTL talk about the buds that were getting ready for Spring to start. The small oak tree on the side of the path had a fine bunch of buds but they were not swelling up yet, but, it will be interesting to watch the development of the buds as the year went on.

Looking good buddy!
There were some other bud type things that OTL called 'Catkins'!  I mean, they look nothing like cats!

Bet they don't go Meow!
It all looks a bit blank, all the leaves gone and the buds fast asleep for the Winter!

The sniffs are a bit damp as well!
On our way back to the car park we heard a rumbling and groaning and a tractor type of thingy wotsit came crashing through the trees.

Holly reckons she would love to have a go driving it around the park and woods!

I can drive that!
She lives in Cloud Cuckoo Land some times!

OTL says that he will have an extra hour in bed tomorrow just so he can catch the sunrise. Holly and I reckon if we get the need to do a wee, he will be getting up earlier than he plans!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Sunday Funday!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, Old Two Legs wellies have done the trick again, on with the wellies and no rain outside!

We did get up a little late and the sun was trying to climb over the horizon. We didn't take the camera but instead OTL ran of a couple of shots with the phone camera. The only one that wasn't wobbly was the one where I was having a poo!

Can't a girl get any privacy!
I mean, it's enough that they have chopped down all the vegetation but to have someone clicking away is not on!

Mind you, he did pick it all up and dump it in the bin!

Lunchtime it was a little darker but still no rain, so the wellies are still working their magic!

I wish it would make up it's mind, light or dark, dark or light!
On the way back home we came across one of the neighbours trying to reverse a trailer up his drive but somehow he had damaged the ball hitch and OTL had to get out of the car to push it back up the drive, with the help of a few passing neighbours!

Good deed for the day!

Back home for a chew on a carrot and a snooze before dinner!

We love Sundays!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Saturday with OTL!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

First thing this morning The Missus packed the small car with her crafty stuff and covered our new cushion and water bowl!

We were not having that and Old Two Legs soon rescued our bed and before long we were heading for the beach!

As normal it was too dark but there was some colour on the horizon, so, we reckon soon OTL will be bringing the camera with us to catch the sunrise, just like old times!

We took the camera at lunch time and although the sun was high in the sky, we were able to look at the tree's and compose a picture!

OK, maybe a little higher next time!
Since OTL got his  Green Wellies the rain has poured down over night or in the evening and when we go out, it has almost dried up! Still Spring is on it's way so we can expect a few downpours to test his wellies!

Until then, we have been trying to tempt him onto the beach for a paddle in the mud but as he doesn't want to mess his boots up, wimp!

Look OTL, I've found some money!
Even when Holly reckons she found some money on the beach OTL it still wasn't enough to get him onto the beach!

In the end I had to get back on the sea wall just to keep him from thinking we had run away!

We were only joking!
We liked to offer of Auntie Sue to help OTL spend money, trouble is, she will have to stand in line 'cos TM reckons she has first place!

So helpful these Tl's!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!
