Another Snoozy Day

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again and guess wot?

Yep, it's another of those snoozy grey days!

I know it's still January but just for a change can't we have a bit of sunshine?

We were up again at six this morning, poor Old Two Legs was woken up at five thirty by something, he doesn't know what it was but he thinks it could have been The Missus 'cos she was up early with one of her 'Insparations'!

OTL says he is normally 'Inspired' to go back to sleep again were it not for the fact that Holly or I had given his ear a good licking!

We took the camera today but the chance of a photo is zero, I mean, clouds, dark, grey skies and misty rain!
Just look at that vista!
Using Sheerness Docks as a background and Holly and I in the foreground we managed this one.

Well, it's still misty!
We noticed that the last of Rosie's Grain Rock still hasn't been found yet. OTL says he is leaving it where it is as Rocks have been hidden there before and were found after a while.

Then, Just a few yards further on we spotted another Rock on the bench!
A bit early for the Poppy?

They have been spreading chopped up trees on the path to soak up the water and reduce the muddy patches.
Looks posh!
Just as we got to the car park Holly got all excited, there, walking and sniffing their way along the road was the Huskies Holly likes winding up!

She ran through the middle of them and then around them and finally back through the middle again!

Can't catch me cos I'm off the lead!
We had the groomer visit today, not for Holly and me but for TM. She didn't get washed and blow dried like wot we have to but she got a 'Dry Cut'. Holly an I watched her get shaved but she didn't have as much hair removed as we do, not fair!

Can you imaging TM with the same hair cut as OTL?

Those ferrets have been hiding their Chicken Strips all over the place and no matter how much Holly and I woof for OTL to help dig them out from under the chairs or the furniture, we still don't get to them!

We made such a fuss that in the end we got a couple of strips from out of the bag!

Sorted!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

A Day for Snoozing!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

You know there are days that are just boring, really boring!

We have had one like that today. It was dark and misty this morning when we went out and Old Two Legs even left his camera in the car 'cos there was nothing interesting to photograph!

I mean, a grey sky is as boring as you can get!

The last Grain Rock is still on the moss mound and says it is getting bored not being found!

We met up with a couple of Greyhound woofers that used to race but now just want to cuddle up and snooze!

Holly says she can relate to this!

Back home OTL was plonking on the computer and let's face it, that is really boring!

Lunchtime we were out again and this time we were so bored Holly suggested we go home, just like Archie Babe did yesterday!

The ferrets were in a good mood today 'cos the Chicken Strips OTL gave them for Christmas were being hidden from us by the little terrors!

They hid them in The Missuses card stock room and in places Holly and cant get to!

We drive OTL potty by sitting in the room and woofing until OTL comes to see what's wrong and finds us pointing with our noses to great piles of plastic boxes where Eric has crept behind!

It drives poor Holly round the bend, I mean, she can sniff them but can't get to the Chicken Strip!

The afternoon was about as boring as the morning, grey skies and OTL plonking away on the computer!

The most exciting thing to happen was the garage delivering the big car back after having it serviced. We woofed at the Two Legs as he walked down the path but OTL said we couldn't go and beat him up cos it wasn't his fault it was so expensive!

So, we are off to see what's for dinner and then we're going to cuddle up to OTL for our evening snooze before bed!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

OTL is now doing Modeling!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret,

Well, after yesterdays fun and games we got an extra quarter of an hour in bed this morning!

Actually, Old Two Legs got a quarter of an hour while I got an extra half an hour!

Spring is definitely on it's way, the mornings are getting lighter and the sun is getting up a bit earlier every day!

Take this morning, there it is, the pre glow getting up and pointing out the interesting bits, Tree, Bench, Tree and Poo Bin!
T, B, T & PB!  All the best places!
Around the corner we couldn't see the sun yet but the colours in the sky were just great and the moon even took a quick look at us!
Moon above Sheerness!
Going around the corner towards the forest we saw the grass covered in frost. It looked quite pretty with the morning colours spreading across the field!
Your white bits look all pinky!
OTL spend most of the morning working on a quotation full of fiddly bits and funny names, lets face it, how many people know what a Duplexer is without looking it up on Goggle!

This afternoon, not far from the Poo Bin we found another Grain Rock! Not one of Rosie's but it looked just as good!
Right Posh looking!
After getting back we headed for the food bowls and then off for a snooze in the office.

That's when we saw it.

OTL messing about with the camera and delay Shutter and Flash!

One of his customers wanted to see wot something looked like, so, OTL, being all showy off got The Missus to take a picture of him posing by the office door!

Maybe he should have worn his bobble hat!
Well, when we saw him doing his model bit we all had a good laugh, even the ferrets were rolling around on their backs laughing their paws off!

Eric says we should call him Twiggy!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Rosies Rocks have gone Walk About!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's been a funny old day today. It started off with Old Two Legs getting up a good hour and a half earlier than normal!

I mean, I was left tucked up in the duvet snoozing my tail off while OTL loaded up the big car with tools and other stuff and off he went at seven this morning!

Seems like he was back to work with a vengeance and we were left on our own!

Well, not really 'cos The Missus was up early (for us, not her) and she took Holly and I down the sea wall for our morning walk.

We met up with a couple of woofers but that was it, no one!

Lucky for us, OTL returned home just before lunchtime so there was plenty of time to head out again for more walkies!

We kept an eye open for Rosie's Rocks as soon as we got out of the car but the first one was missing!

It was 'ere but now it's gone!
We headed off towards the forest and there under the bench was nothing! The Ladybird Rock had also gone walkies!

Well, it was on the cross bar but it seems the Lady Bird has flown away home!
Further on there was the Moss Mound where we left another and this time it was still there, hiding away under the leaves and on top of the moss!

There it is, right in the middle!
We thought that was good and headed off around the corner to see if the last one was still there, it wasn't!

It was maybe a bit too easy to spot in the tree. We will have to ask Rosie to pint us some more!

It was here and now it's gone!
Hey, remember that woofer who woofed at OTL but sounded like he was gargling with custard? Well, we met him again, and his mates, as they walked along the Sea Wall and as normal he gave OTL a good woofing but when OTL got the camera out and clicked off a few shots he stopped woofing!

Wossat Clicking?
 That surprised him!

A bit further down the Sea Wall we noticed the clouds were all wrinkled, a bit like OTL!

OK, the suns going down but just look at those clouds!
All afternoon OTL has been boring, I mean, he has been plonking away on the computer and keeps mumbling to himself about 'Proft Margines', what ever they are!

I mean, just how many Teeth Cleaning Chews will they buy?

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Rosie Joins the Rock Band!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Sunday is a good day, we get up a bit later and then spend all morning woofing out of the window at passing Two Legs and the odd woofer!

Then, after the ferrets have had their rampage around the house, pinching all the Chicken Strips and Brambles Biscuits and drinking all the Lactose Free Milk we would retire to our sleeping mats under the desk.

You can't hide anything from those monsters!

The morning walk was still in the dark but there was a bit of a pre glow from the sun but not enough to say Wow!

Well, it's there but not yet!
One thing to say Wow about is the rocks given to Old Two Legs this morning. At the village hall crop yesterday, young Rosie painted up some rocks and decided to donate them to Grain!

Rosie Rocks!
We decided to plant them when we went out on our lunchtime walk. Today we left the ferrets sleeping, well, they had such a run around that they decided that bed was preferable to a windy beach and a chilly North Sea Breeze!

Well, we hunted around until we found suitable places and then, without anyone seeing us, we planted the rocks!

The first is in the car park on a block of concrete!

The First of Rosie's Rocks!
The second is under a bench!
There is a mound of moss which we have left rocks in the past, so, we thought we would try another!

On the Moss Mound!
As we walked around Old Two Legs spotted some Daffadillys sprouting up, Spring is well on it's way!
It's the Daffadillys!
The last rock we hid in the trunk of a tree where a branch had fallen off and left a hole just big enough for the rock!

I'm a Rosie Rock and you can't see me!
So, there they are, all planted and it will be fun  seeing how long they stay there before being found!

As soon as they go we will have to get Rosie to paint up some more!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Bald as a Badgers Butt!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wot a Day!

It starts off at four thirty this morning when Old Two Legs dreams he wants a wee, gets up and sleep walks into the clothes cupboard and wakes up not knowing how he got there and wearing a coat hanger like an ear ring!

He didn't have too much giggle juice yesterday, honest!

At the proper waking up time, six fifteen, he woke up and knew where he was, in bed, not the cupboard!

Overnight is was cloudless and there was a layer of frost/ice on the windscreen so there was a delay while he scrapped it all off and warmed up the motor.

The sun was getting up and the moon was still hanging around so OTL waved the camera at the moon, just for fun!

Moon over the car park!
Walking around the football field we headed off towards the sea front and spotted our favourite shot.

Pre Glow, Tree, Bench and Poo Bin!
I mean, It just don't get any better!

As we headed back to the car park the sun was still hiding beyond the horizon and the moon was still hanging about!

Hand held camera shot, not bad!
When we got home OTL got the hair cutting stuff out, you know, scissors, shaver, shampoo, water and the air blower to dry us off!

Holy wast the first and OTL spent a long time getting rid of the clumps of hair that Holly suffers from. They seem to grow on top of her paws and under her arm pits, of which she has four!

Well, OTL brushed and snipped and brushed and snipped and in the end managed to get rid of every one we could find. I'm sure there may be a few small knots but OTL will keep a watch out and who knows, he may have got rid of them all!

Well, after that the next is a wash and hair cut which Holly is never a great fan of getting done but in the end OTL felt she was bald enough to get down from the table and come and show me!

We woke Eric and Wendy 'cos we heard that Rosie was up the village hall so at lunchtime we headed off to say hello. OTL was presented with a couple of extra large iced fruit cake, the sort he loves, so we know what he will be eating this weekend!

We headed off for our lunchtime walk and both Wendy and Eric came along as well. As we crossed the football field we spotted a Grain Rock on one of the benches, so, not having the camera OTL used his phone to capture the rock!

Yep, that's a Robin on there!
It was a bit windy down on the sea front and both Wendy and Eric decided they would stay in the ferret bag until we got to the forest and although Eric was OK with that, Miss Wendy decided that the bag was not only warmer but safer!

Back home it was my turn and since I had got rid of all the hair knots last time it wasn't too bad and a lot quicker than Holly!

OTL put Holly in the office and shut the door cos she just doesn't like me getting attention and she missing out!

Now that's OK but when the door is opened, POW!

She does get so excited!

We are going to offer to help OTL demolish that cake!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Doomy Day Today!

Hello Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

As you would have known, Plawn Clackers and King Plawns went down a treat yesterday and it was helped by a bottle of Bubbly The Missus was given for Christmas!

Holly and I made pigs of ourselves and OTL indulged in a stack of Shortbread and some of his Giggle Juice!

We all slept well and although OTL sort of rolled out the side of the bed last night!

In fact we slept so well we were late in getting up!

Not that it worried us 'cos we could hear the rain bashing on the window pane which gave us the excuse to duck down under the duvet for a a few more snoozes before we had to get up!

As you would imagine, the rain was still splashing down so there were no pictures of sun rises or pre or after glow!

Holly, being a bit of a pudding has got thick hair that sometimes gets clumped together, so, today OTL sat Holly on the desk and started to snip out the lumps.

Holly was not pleased and wriggled and wriggled and wriggled to try to escape the scissors clacking away!

When OTL starts to do this Holly knows that soon she will be getting a wash and a hair cut!

I think it is tomorrow!

I'm not too bad but if there is time I reckon I will get a short back and sides as well!

Lunchtime came and went, all windy and cold and we were glad to get back home to a warm cushion under the desk in OTL's office.

Tomorrow  TM is off to her Glue Slapping Day in the village hall with her mates so there will be plenty of space for OTL to get the table out with all the straps and stuff for holding a woofer in place while getting shaved!

Holly calls it an Instrument of Torture and spends all her time wriggling around so OTL can't get to the bit he wants to shave!

That doesn't make OTL too happy with Holly and he spends too much time turning her back again to the position he wants her in only to find she has moved again while he picks up the shaver!

More news tomorrow!

Bye Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

How Old?

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

OK, we got it right this time but instead of sitting on top of Old Two Legs we jumped up and down on the bed and sang our Birthday Singing Song until he woke up!

We helped him open his presents and as you would guess, most of them he could and will drink!

A little late in going out for our morning run, we didn't take the camera and of course, there it was, a super pre glow before the sun got up that lit up the clouds and looked very dramatic!

Back home we got Eric and Wendy out for a run around and they both helped OTL sort out his presents. They also found the soft chicken strips that OTL had brought for us all!

Holly and I woofed them down while Wendy hid hers in her bed while Eric sat there chomping away at the chicken he held between his paws!

Lunchtime walkies was better, no sun rise but we did see a rainbow over the local church!

A Rainbow without rain, is that called a Bow?
The clouds looked interesting over towards Southend but the sniff of Kebab had blown away from us, so, no serous sniffs!

Not a sniff to be sniffed!
On the way back to the car we spotted another Grain Rock hiding in the crook of a tree, so, OTL being OTL just had to take a picture!

OTL says he is going to try his paw at painting rocks, trouble is, he isn't too good with small rocks so he may use a house brick and a 12" roller!

Slightly weather beaten but still here!
Now, tonight we will be having the Chinese Take Away so it's Plawn Clackers tonight, plus all the other stuff!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Ooops!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!

What a windy night we had last night, one of our fence panels was blown out of the end of the garden. Old Two Legs was supposed to put it back today but he has been too busy working, poor lad!

Now, Holly and I had some fun this morning, we both woke up and decided that we would sing our Birthday Song to OTL before he got up.

Holly jumped onto his chest and stuck her nose against his while I curled around the top of his head and stuck my nose into his ear and the pair of us began to sing.

Well, we had hardly got to the second line when he woke up and says that his birthday is TOMORROW!

We did feel a little silly, I mean, singing it a day early!

Holly says that we will have to think up a new song and a way of delivering it 'cos he got spoilt by us this morning!

Our walk first thing this morning was a damp affair, we left home in the dry, well, it wasn't raining but when we got to the Sea Wall there was a rain cloud over the top of us an, 'Splosh' down it came and we all got wet!

Lucky for us lunchtime came and although the rain forecast showed rain over the top of us, OTL said he spotted a 'Window' in the weather and off we went about a half an hour earlier than normal and.....

OTL's Window!
See, OTL manages it sometimes! The blue sky was over Southend but it wriggled it's way across the Thames and shone on us for a while!

Mmmm, I can sniff Kebabs from Southend!
Eric had decided to stay in bed with Miss Wendy so it was just Holly and I who had a run along the beach.

It's great fun running up and down the beach and digging our claws into the sand as we run!

Holly found a sniff and enjoyed a roll while OTL was jumping up and down telling her she way a 'Smelly Mutt!'

I need a roll in the sand!
We have gathered OTL's birthday cards in a pile under our bed and will give him them tomorrow and thanks to Archie Babe for the Digital Car, Holly and I have had a look at it and think it's great! We will forward it to OTL tomorrow morning!

The Missus says that as it's his birthday, we will have a Chinese Take a Way tomorrow evening and she will share her bottle of bubbly with him!

Well, as long as Holly and I get a share of the Plawn Clackers and King Plawns!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

We're Back!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!

Did you miss us? We missed you!

It was all Old Two Legs fault, on Sunday he was messing about with the computer and it took offence and went into 'Wobble Mode' and refused to load programs!

He only gained control when he uploaded a Windows 10 Update!

He reckons the Windows 10 has a mind of it's own and he says it hates him!

Mind you, the way he talks to the computer it's a wonder it even switches on!

Sunday it still wasn't doing wot it should but he couldn't spend too long playing 'cos we all had an appointment to visit Alun and Glynis for a Birthday visit and a meal!

You see it is Glynis Birthday today and OTL's Birthday tomorrow. So, all together now, just for Auntie Glynis, on the count of five and a half................One, Two, Five 1/2

Happy Birthday to yoooo
Here's a Bucket of Poooo
Two bottles of Wee Wee
From Holly and Me!

We had a super time pinching some Plawn Clackers at lunchtime and listening to tales of when OTL and Alun used to play together when they visited their Nana and that was a long, long time ago!!

Then they left Holly and I to guard the house while they went off for a meal!

A right bunch of Hooligans!
Alun tipped the restaurant off that there were a couple of birthday celebrations and the waiters came marching through the restaurant singing 'Happy Birthday' to the pair of them!

Mind you, the song was not as good as our one!

They couldn't put all the candles on the ice cream cos you would end up with a Tsunami along the table!
Today we got up early cos the weather man says we will get rain and wind soon. Now we know that it's January and rain and cold and wind is normal but we shall be all tucked up in bed while that lot goes on, we're not daft!

It was later on this afternoon that the computer let OTL open up the programs and stuff, so it is all back to square one!

We hope!

Holly and I are planning to wake OTL up early tomorrow, just to wish him a Happy Birthday and Holly says we should let the Ferrets out as well and we will all jump on him to wake him up.

I'm sure he would like that!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!
