Wot a Wet Day!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Wot a horrid day! It has been raining from before we got up and just hasn't stopped all day!

Old Two Legs has been studying the rain radar on the Internetty Thing looking for a 'Window of Opportunity' to get us out for a walk but the rain just kept on getting wetter and wetter!

Finally, Holly and couldn't wait any longer, so, we got dressed up and headed for the football field and after the quickest poo and a wee, we headed back home to a rub down with our doggy towels, then off to the office to curl up on the cushions for a well-earned snooze!

We have been helping OTL to get all the photography stuff ready for his trip to Isle of Skye with Alun. He will be off on Saturday afternoon and taking the laptop with him but we have worked out how we can get this blog up on the Internetty Thingy. What we need to do is to telephone OTL and tell him all about our day and what we have been doing and also what The Missus has been doing!

Then, OTL can type it all up and maybe with a photo or two of the Isle of Skye, (through the rain!)
and that way you can keep up with us!

So, that's it, sorted!

The only problem with that is if OTL and Alun get onto the local whisky and forget to leave the phone switched on!

Then they will be in deep poo!

Tomorrow looks like there may be some sunshine, so with a bit of luck we can head down to the beach for a run around!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Sniffs Galore!

Hello Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Today is not the birthday of The Missus, her birthday is on the 26th March, I mean, how could you forget that Archie Babe!

The ferrets have been having a great time this morning, Miss Wendy found out where Old Two Legs hid the Chicken Strips! Eric tried to drag the packet off the desk but was spotted by OTL just before Eric and Chicken Strips disappeared!

In the end we all got a Chicken Strip and both Holly and I devoured our strip in a flash!

Eric hid his in the cuddle cup while Wendy hid hers under her bed!

One of the treats is to get a slurp of Lactose Free milk, well, the chicken does make you thirsty!

There is nothing like a slurp of milk!
As promised, we went down to the beach, loads of sniffs, some we know and some were new from the weekend!

Pheew! This ones a bit rich!
The sun had got up and was riding across the sky so we missed thesunrise but OTL wasn't going to be beaten, a quick fiddly Diddly and he took a picture of the sea instead!

Wot, no sun?
We found a Grain Rock on the bench and it was still there at lunchtime when we came out again!

All with Gold Glitter as well!
We met up with the lads and had a 'Group Sniff'!

Yep! I got that one as well!
OTL was interested in the Hawthorn blossom and couldn't resist a quick snap of the flower as we went past!

Now, don't that just look pretty?
Lunchtime we were back again enjoying the sniffs.

It was a little damp on the paths but with a bit of sunshine the muddy bits should dry out soon, providing it doesn't rain again!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

They are at it again!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, good news for Holly Chops, she has been let off the lead and her plastic collar removed and she has had a wobble around the football field on her own! I must admit, she has had a lick or two but her operation wound looks good and clean!

It is still a little cold and windy but the sun has shone so it's a good sign the warmer weather is on its way!

Talking about good signs, Holly says that when the froggies get going in the pond, it's a good sign and that spring is here!

Well, the froggies have been at it again and there is buckets of froggy spawn floating about the pond. That means Taddly Poles soon and after that, loads of little froglets!

As it has just gone past the end of the month, Old Two Legs is doing his 'Accounts' which means lots of paper, adding machines and worn out pencils!

Mind you, he has promised that, providing it's not raining, he will take us back down to the sea side for our morning walk!

We reckon there will be loads of new sniffs all over the place!

However, we are not allowed in the water, as if you would want to go splashing in this cold weather! Holly did ask if that included the mud and the look OTL gave her we reckon the answer is, No!

OTL got a message this morning from the dentist saying it is the time for OTL to visit for a check-up on his teeth! Now the last time there was nothing wrong and he got out without any pain and just a small amount of money being extracted from his purse. So, it looks like time he got to pay some more money!

OTL says a that dentist is expensive but not so expensive as a vet, then he gave Holly and I a sideways look!

So, today, plenty of snoozes and cuddles tonight!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
