Pheeew! It's hot today!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wot a Hot Day it's been today. Even the ferrets decided to stay in their cage today instead coming out for a walk.

That's their missed walk in the sun!

As normal, the first thing we see after getting out of the car is........

Tree, Bench, Two Legs, Tree and Poo Bin!
Both Holly and I had our harnesses removed and of course, it was me who headed straight to the water!

.....and I'll do another wee!
There were some yellow plants that Old Two Legs at first thought they were Cow Slip but we are not too sure.

Bird’s foot trefoil, well, that's what the Wild Flower Book says!

The Flower Book also calls it 'Bacon and Egg' plant!

Me being a bit of a soggy doggy!
One of the interesting views is walking between the light and shadows and, being black and white in colour, Holly and I can walk along the path saying........now you see me and now you can't!

Watch this one!

Now, is Holly in this one or has she disappeared in the shade?

Holly Gone!
See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Hello Bwob!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a terrible few days!

Our telephone went all crackly and we couldn't understand a thing anyone was saying!

Well, with the crackly audio that also messed up the Internetty connection!

A quick call to our Service Provider resulted in an 'Engineer' heading out to our house, four days later!

So, after spending almost all day fiddling and snipping and borrowing out telephone 'cos his was broken, he pronounced that the problem wasn't our end of the world but rather the Telephone Exchange at the top of the main road through the village!

We got our telephone back before he dissapeared into the distance and we tried the Internetty Thingy, it didn't work.

The Engineer said that we had to contact our Service Providor to 'Reset' the Internetty Box Thingy on the wall, which we did, but we were then told, 'It will settle down over the next couple of days, if not, give us a call'!

OTL said that it sounded more like, 'It's getting close to 'Home Time and I don't want to get stuck talking to you or I'll miss the bus'!

So, here we are about to do a test to see if it all works.

I reckon that sending some photos of wot we did while waiting for the Internetty Man to arrive!

Wot happened to the trees?
Then Eric decided to have a stroll along the sand!

This is a bit wet you know!
Look wot arrived overnight for a quick service and a valet!

Is it floating or sitting on the river bed?
Holly reckons it looks more like a portable light stand!

Shall we get Archie Babe to wee up one of the legs?
Old Two Legs managed to find a Hover Fly having a snooze of a leaf, so, off he went, Clicky Click!

OK, I'll buzz when I wake up!
There was a funny white stuff on the mud, don't know what it is but when we got past it and looked back, there was nothing there!

No, dunno, but it's gone now!

It's Bwob, OTL's mate!
Eric decided to stick his tail in the water!

You know, I'll have a wee while I'm here!
Now this it the best way to have a wee, no one can see what your doing!

Oooh! That's better!
So, here we go, finger ready on the 'Send' Button...................................................................................
..................................................................................................................................................................

POW!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Dead Flat!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's good news, we can go back to work, providing you can't work from home!

Not that helps us much 'cos we work from home normally! Mind you, Old Two Legs will be out first thing on Friday to install a system that has been hanging around since the beginning of the lock down!

Well, that will keep him busy for a few hours!

Today it has been brighter although the wind is still there and as it comes in from the North Sea poor OTL ends up with his eyes watering and because of the grass pollen, he is sneezing his tail off!

Do you think OTL would like this sniff?
Lunchtime we were down the football field again and on the way to the football field both Holly and I were 'Talking' to OTL all the way and he was answering!

Not that we understood what he was saying and I don't suppose he understood exactly what we were saying but he was getting the message as we got closer to the car park!

Cloudy and windy, so, what's new?
It seems that there are more container ships heading up the Thames, so they are delivering or collecting!

Inbound and Outward bound, all at the same time!
The insect life is still pretty scarce but we are seeing one or two butterflies. This Speckled Wood Butterfly was trying to hide in amongst the wood chips that have been put on the path to soak up the puddles when it rains. Mind you, we haven't seen any rain for some time, so that's maybe why the butterfly was feeling brave and safe among the wood chips!

A Speckled Wood Butterfly hiding in the wood chips!
It didn't hang about too long, mainly because Holly came lolloping along the path and nearly stood on the butterfly!

Back home OTL decided to load the car up ready for the early start tomorrow but couldn't get into the car 'cos the battery had gone totally flat! Of course, all the door locks were electric and there he was getting his tail in a twist trying to get in, which he did, in the end and with the help of a jump start from the little car, he was able to drive down to the garage to fill up on fuel. Then, back home to charge the battery so he can go to work tomorrow morning!

Just goes to show that the car hasn't been used for ages!

We will be waking The Missus up early for our walk, but not as early as OTL will be getting up!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
