A Boring Day!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

You know, there is something right boring about Autumn and Winter. I mean, once you get over the colours of the leaves as they fall off the trees and the Winter frost and maybe a bit of snow to get cold in, what's left?

A warm spot under Old Two Legs desk!

That's what happened today. We were out just as the sun got up this morning, no other woofers and no new sniffs.

So, back home, curl up on the bed waiting for the ferrets to get washed and cleaned and put back to bed.

Around half eleven OTL waved 'Good Bye' to us and headed out the door before we could ask where he was going. As we looked out the bedroom window, we could see that he was off in the big car, not more repairs!

We started to worry when The Missus got us ready for the lunchtime walk and there was still no sign of OTL!

Has he run away and joined the circus? 

We got back from our walk and half an hour later OTL was back! It seems he has been to the hospital to get his eyeball checked. Remember he had a laser shone into his eye to help adjust the focus, well it seems that now he could do away with his glasses for distance work but still needs correction on close up work, like reading and counting his pocket money!

This afternoon we have been snoozing under the desk, TM has been doing another video, listing what bits everyone will need for the next 'On Line' crafting.

Holly said we should do a video, you know, 'How to Sniff for Puppies'!

Erics Game.

 Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret again.

Today Old Two Legs was going to climb up the ladder again and set about the mould that had grown on the bathroom window. Well, he didn't!

He got involved in some quoting to a couple of his customers and then of course there is the questions about the quote and more explaining about the options available relating to the revised quote!

Boring, really boring!

Well, that took care of the morning and lunchtime came all of a sudden.

Because of the phone calls, Eric was woken up from his slumber and told OTL that he wanted to walkies with us.

I don't know how he does it but as soon as we get out of the car along comes a Two Legs going Oooo and Aaaah and 'is that a ferret?'

Then you get all the usual questions, I mean, it really gets boring!

When we finally got going Eric hitched a ride in the Ferret Bag and sat there with his nose poking out of the top!

Finally, at the top of the hill Eric got out of the bag, ran down the hill and across the field. He really enjoyed running across the field and ferreting under the grass and leaves that had fallen from the trees.

The only problem was that when Holly or I stopped for a sniff, Eric came running along and bumped into our back legs, which of course made us jump, much to Eric's delight!

Back home OTL was back on the computer again while Eric had some lunch and managed to blag a Chicken Strip nibble before heading for bed.

What a life ferrets lead!

On top of the ladder!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Old Two Legs has been having fun today, he received instructions from The Missus that he had to clean the gutters out ready for Winter and also, he had to scrub the moss and stuff off the bathroom window frame.

Now, in his prime OTL would think nothing of climbing up to the top of the triple extension ladder, hang on with one leg and a hand whilst at the same time drilling holes through a double skin brick wall so he can pass cable through!

Nowadays he is not so brave, or stupid, and has given up all the exciting games!

So, with a little trepidation he climbs up to the first floor and empties the gutter of a years’ worth of moss that has collected in the gutters.

Tomorrow, or the day after, depending on the amount of rain that will fall, he will shun up again and try to clean the bathroom window frame!

We read about Archie Babes sore paw but didn't see if he had gone to the vet for a cuddle and some 'Sore Paw Cream'

Walkies were a little boring, just a couple of Two Legs wandering along the sea front looking like they were lost!

 There's no way I'd climb up that ladder, four paws or not!
