Eric the Sneak!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again!

What a super day today, I mean, it’s been warm and sunny all day.

Right from this morning’s walk up to late afternoon!

This morning after the walk, I was resting on the bed, getting ready for a snooze while Old Two Legs gets into poo shovelling for the ferrets, when this Eric pokes his snout over the edge of the bed!

 I mean, what a thing to do, if it wasn't for the fact that OTL was sitting next to me, checking me out for grass burrs, Eric might have had the scare of his life!

I'm sure he wasn't climbing up to give me a kiss, more than likely he was after my teeth cleaning chew!

Well, he didn't get it!

After working hard guarding the office, I decided it was time to go out, so, taking a big run up, I jumped up and gave the chair an almighty great shove!

It works every time!

It also woke Eric up as well and we both got OTL going!

Miss Wendy isn't into wandering down on the sea wall so we left her snoozing under a blanket in the cage!

Today Eric decided to investigate the grass to see if there was any sign of 'Weasel Wee'.

He reckons to have found some but to be honest, I couldn't sniff a thing!

Bet you can't see me!

Now, to be honest, I was having more fun with Eric's squeaky ball, digging a big hole and burying it as far down into the hole as possible!

I bet he won't find this in a hurry!

In the end OTL dug up the ball for him, but no panic, if he is out tomorrow, I'll dig a bigger hole and then we'll see what he does with it!

If she thinks she's going to bury it there then I'll do the same with her Chew!

This afternoon OTL has been looking at cars, now, OTL has a problem, he wants a super-fast, boy racer car that can scream off down the road burning all four tyres and making an earth-shattering spectacle.

The trouble is, he can't afford one like that and the insurance is through the roof!

I suppose that's one of the problems of getting old and doddery, the insurance catches up with you!

If all else fails, he could afford a Morris Minor!

Bye Bye Big Car!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

All exciting stuff today, Old Two Legs has been playing with all the motoring paperwork today.

The big car was sold for more than the reserve price, which pleased OTL no end! Mind you, when you consider how much he paid for it in the beginning and then the repairs and after that the running costs, you could say it was a rather expensive car!

Now he is on the Internetty Thingy looking at other cars. He has decided it won't be the same type of motor 'cos we don't need to tow the caravan so he is looking at a lower engine size and an estate car.

We still have to make sure the ferret cage must fit into the back seats and boot!

It looks like our holidays will be spent in rented log cabins!

OTL has even suggested that we go back to the Isle of Mull 'cos they got Static Caravans by the side of a 'Burn' where in the past we have seen otters!

Still, that's all in the future and we have got to decide on the car first!

Just for a change the rain has held off today so our walk down by the sea wall was rather pleasant, except for a big fat chocolate brown Labrador who insisted in following us along the sea wall!

 

Woof off and find your own sniffs!

We had to wait until he wandered off before we could get back to enjoying a walk on the sea wall!

The tide is out so I will have to put up with this!

I don't know what it is with OTL but he keeps a close watch on me if I should hold back a little. It always coincides with me finding a sniff and just as I'm getting ready to give it a scrape before sniffing I hear,......'Daisy'!

Now, OTL has been keeping a close watch out for the squirrel he saw the other day. Me, on the other paw am not interested unless it bouncing around in front of me, but today what did OTL see?

 

 Look! Cooking Fat!

 I decided it was not worth chasing and OTL doesn't chase them anyway!

Maybe we will see it tomorrow when OTL will have his telescopic lens!
